I was you. I cried and cried and cried all day long and thought I'd never get better. I just knew I could never find peace with it all. Four years later and I promise you, you are going to find your peace. I rejected it when people told me I would, but I was wrong. Take it from those of us on the other side, the pain does stop. The quiet becomes comfortable. You actually begin looking forward to the days the kids are gone lol. Wanna be 3D printing buddies? I'm always making cool shit and have no…

Definitely. My ex moved three hours away to continue her affair. 50/50 custody wasn't possible and I wasn't giving it up. Everyone told me I was stupid for even trying to get primary custody. I sure proved them wrong.

I'd argue only 1% of women can be trusted with mediation. Mine begged me for it after our preliminary hearing destroyed all of her hopes of winning.

I had to, which was bullshit because she never once paid a cent to help, especially after she left. She did not deserve shit.

She won't. You're not the exception. She left because she is betting against your future. She hates you.

My wife convinced me we didn't want more kids, and vasectomy was the obvious choice for us. The she divorced me a month later to go be with her affair partner. Turned out, she just didn't want more kids with me.

I'm four years out of the divorce and still struggling with this. She was the most beautiful woman I ever knew. Now, I still want her some nights, but when I see her I am filled with such rage that I can't imagine wanting to touch her.

I'm right there with you. I am so burnt out I can barely do anything after work. It's all I can do to bake a frozen pizza and let the kids watch TV all night. I hate this life.

I talk to my mom daily. She's remarried after my dad cheated on her, but her husband is controlling and getting senile, so she feels trapped and she hates going home. She tells me she envies my freedom over my money and time. There is a peace to knowing anything that needs doing is your responsibility. I used to get upset (rightfully so, I think) when I'd come home to a dirty house after working all day because she "didn't feel like cleaning today." Now I come home to an unclean house and know I…

Not specifically, but I don't hate the idea. Being a dad is the best feeling in the world. And, yes, the surgery exists but it is expensive, cheap, and has a low success rate.

Sounds like me! My ex and her mom conspired together. My ex-MIL set my wife up with another man and told her to divorce me. I won full custody and kept nearly all my assets lol.

They get bad advice. I believe her mom and friends all just told her she'd get the kids and my income and the house without having to keep me. It's almost funny how much women ruin other women's lives with their stupidity.

Not yet, but I believe she will one day. She dug herself into a hole with the lies she told everyone. Cheaters don't tell the truth as to why they leaving. She told her family and friends I was abusive and a narcissist, of course. To come back now would require admitting to everyone she lied. Funnily, she bragged to me that her AP made more money than me. Then, after the divorce finalized, he got fired and I got a new job doubling my income.

I mean, I don't give women that much credit. They are like toddlers who cry and throw tantrums because they don't know they're just tired. Women don't have any emotional intelligence at all. We can't expect them to introspect enough to know what they truly want. They don't change anything until it's right in their face because that's how far they can see.
/r/Divorce_Men26/06/24 11:25 PM

No surprise. The one who initiates is living their decision and had the chance to mourn the death of the marriage long before initiating divorce.
/r/Divorce_Men26/06/24 01:53 PM

They don't care. The ones they don't give themselves to are fighting for their attention by giving them everything else they need. They get their bills paid for, their fix of attention, and all other needs met because they're women and they can.

Nope. They're all sociopaths, man. They don't love the way we do. We are objects to them. My wife was so genuinely confused when I found out about her affair. She didn't understand why she should care that I knew she was cheating and leaving me. She truly saw me as a piece of trash she was done with.
/r/Divorce_Men17/06/24 03:48 AM

That's what they do. I handed my wife a copy of the text logs where she blatantly described the affair shes having and she still denied it. It's just what women do.

Not OP but there wasn't any "pain" during mine, but I could feel tugging and I could smell my vas deferens being cauterized. There was a slight pressure feeling for about six months after that made me wince but it was mostly psychological. Full recovery takes maybe two weeks I think. Then you get a lifetime of consequence-free sexy time. Until she leaves, that is.

Not a lawyer, but from my experience and research, you're fucked. Money gifted isn't an asset. It's gone. Her income will be considered, but the savings is legally just as much hers as yours. Your best bet is mediation where you can at least give yourself a shot at a better outcome. Sounds to me like she's been hiding money for years by "gifting" it to her parents.

My ex, after only 6-months married, brought home a puppy without asking me. Not only this, but she "co-owned" the dog with her friend, as if that could ever make sense. When I told her we couldn't keep it (especially since we already had two cats our landlord didn't know about) she told me she'd divorce me if I didn't let her keep it. What a moron I was. We kept it but it was the same thing. I resented the dog and told her I wasn't helping with it.

The anger does subside, but it happens a lot faster if you let yourself feel it in a healthy way, work through the emotions, and invest your time in healthy outlets. A lot of us choose to burn off the aggressive energy in the gym. I did, but I also let myself feel the anger. Now, the anger is there, but it is accompanied by a habit of ignoring it too. I told my wife so many times I hated feeling like we were just roommates. She never wanted intimacy or anything, and she blamed it all on me, of course. She once told me that other men turn her on, so clearly I'm the problem.

Probably high. I'll take her in, fuck her, send AP a video of it, and kick her out.

The cops likely will not get involved. This is not a criminal matter. They will only enforce a court order. My ex tried to come into my house several times after leaving and I refused. The cops all sided with me and said they didn't get involved in civil matters.

I think you meant 80% of divorces are caused by women, lol.

Most people get it. Divorce is, sadly, very common in society. Just say you're no longer together and leave it at that.

Haha that would be funny. I'm only preparing defenses though. It just info to help me prepare. I won't be attacking based on any hearsay.

Women as a whole are driven almost entirely by instinct when it comes to mating. They start out doing their mating dance to coerce you into wanting them, then they want the ring as a symbol of status to feel validated as a woman, then they want children, then they eat your head like a black widow by realizing they no longer need anything more from you. If being a misogynist is wrong, I don't want to be right. Women are like ticks. Sure, some don't carry lyme disease. Doesn't mean you should ever…

Sorry. I use this sub to vent a lot of anger. My advice is worthless. I'm too cynical about women right now. There are no good ones. They all go entirely off instinct. They do what they think they have to in order to get what they want, which starts off as attention, and then they use you and leave you. It's typical animal behavior like in black widows or praying mantises. Mating dance, get the seed, eat the father. Not a higher-order thought in their empty little heads.

Yours waited four months after divorce? Mine didn't even wait until she told me she wanted a divorce.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
