Parents never knew anything. I went through the phase all on my own. Didn't even tell my friends (like 2 people lol).

Right thats why I dont identify with feminists. I dont want to be confused with the extremists that taint it. Same as though I dont say I'm conservative because immediately people assume you take the stance of the most extreme conservatives out there. And same for saying you are a liberal, the conservatives assume you take the most extreme stance. I dont want to identify with any of it lol.

Right but in my experience many people who go so far as to say they identify as a feminist hold views approaching this. Maybe I live in a very liberal area but its true. Also, this entire sub is devoted to saying red pill is bad because of a few things that a few of them say. Should we say its ok to accept red pill, but just not the toxic red pillers?

Literally don't have to go any farther than just my female friends from HS that are big feminists and this is their exact words. Where are you getting your feminist rhetoric from?
/r/ExRedPill11/02/23 08:37 PM
-10

That is original feminism, not the toxic aspects of the modern waves of it today. The toxic parts of todays feminism (rape culture, its healthy to be fat, shaming men for being masculine, kill all men, #metoo, etc) are exactly what elicited the red pill response. Neither of them are good for society.

You can like women and not be a modern feminist lol

Oh I see yeah thank you for clarifying. Unfortunate that happened to you... I always assumed that whoever seemed interested or expressed interest in the girl first, was the one to pursue her. Like if my friend said he wanted to go out with a girl I was attracted to, I would just say he beat me to the chase and I'd let him have his go at her. Same thing the other way around. There are so many girls out there, just go find another that your friend isn't hung up on. If you were already involved on …

I've been on meet-up for a while but its all just worthless virtual zoom meetings. I think my area is just not great for this sort of thing...only place I'm able to meet girls is dating apps.

Yeah I sont think it has to do with being nice. Its because a lot of "nice guys" are also shy and awkward and THAT is what is not attractive, not the "nice" part. So they get confused as to what is causing their problem.

Red pill guys are much more likely to get people pregnant than incels lol. But if everyone is indoctrinated into the mindset that its pointless to have children, that is, in my opinion, almost as toxic as the toxic aspects of red pill.

Or simply turn on the setting that opens you up to gays. Wayyyy more likes lol. But I disagree with almost everything else you said. Having babies is meaningful. Finding a good partner is meaningful. If everyone followed this advice then we'd go extinct.

A lot of times there are just not any interesting in-person meet-up groups in your area, and if ur like me and don't go to school or have a full time job with people your age, you kind of have to use dating apps.

Yeah I get pretty frustrated when I have the same problem of not having a social group and everyone's like "just join a hobby group" I'm like WHERE?? I'm not in high school any more. There is not a posted list of clubs to join that have lots of active members. Nextdoor/meetup doesn't have much in terms of hobbies either. And if it does 90% of it is zoom calls right at dinner time. Lol.
/r/ExRedPill22/09/22 02:08 PM

People always say to join these supposed hobby groups using the internet but I've searched and searched and nowhere can I find groups for the things I do that actually do things irl (not just chat about it on a zoom meeting once a month) and meet up anywhere near my area. Quite frustrating. Is there a site that people are on for this kind of thing, like a site for clubs in your area? I am on "Meetup" but thats not giving me anything useful.

Yeah this comment chain is a perfect example of exactly what the OP is talking about. People are just stuck in their bubble and don't want to see any truths whatsoever on the "other side". People don't like to agree with anything on the "other side" for fear of being labeled eith some arbitrarily associated adjective that people label the "other side" with.

I agree that red pill is teaching young men how to form unhealthy relationships, but this article kind of misses the point. They won't stop talking about how its sexist and misogynistic and they treat Ben Shapiro as if he has anything to do with Red Pill dating advice. If anything the conservative content creators like Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh and JBP are exactly who the exredpill folks should be mostly agreeing with in terms of dating advice because they preach long term, love (not lust) base…

If you think about it, the "correlation does not prove causation" argument can basically be used to nullify just about any statistic you want. Nobody can be sure about anything, is what it proves.

So basically, after high school/college, if you are starting at zero, you are out of luck unless your work is very social? Also what if I don't like parties? They give me huge anxiety after my high school experience with the parties I hosted and I just don't like the look of what people post on SM about their parties...they just look like immature wastes of time where there is loud music and dancing and drinking and everyone is so drunk and it's so loud you can hardly even have a conversation. I could try that but i need to get more stable employment and such first. The thing is how do adults do that exploration after college/school? Uts not like we spend our whole lives in school and the only way to socialize can't be school.

Yeah I live in Northern VA, near DC in a neighboring County across the water. Mostly young families doctors lawyers lobbyists government workers etc. I agree I need to find somewhere with people my age but my entire work life has evolved in this area and moving would mean I'd have to redo all my progress networking for gigs. I've got to stay where I am for at least a couple years and then I'll think about moving out. I'm not sure how I'd know where a "college town" would be, either. Nor how to f…

Yes I hate this too, especially since I'm really bad at "reading people". WHY ON EARTH must we play this stupid covert communication game to date? I'd rather just talk to you and be like "Do you share my values and mission in life?" "yeah" "Great, I find you physically attractive. Do you find me physically attractive too?" I'm an entrepreneur and freelancer. I ran a couple businesses during high school so i didn't have much time to socialize and only had a couple close friends, which i didn't mind. College just does seem worth the time and money for what I want to do with my life so I decided not to go. Oh, most definitely. I do much better, social speaking, with older adults. My way of conversing is rather mature in nature sometimes and I dont often click with the "swag" ways of people my age. I dont use a bunch of slang and cuss and such like a lot of people I knew in high school, and my interests are always looking ahead in life instead of pursuing whats expedient in the moment, so lots of things that my friends would do like going to malls and concerts and sports and stuff just never really…

I have never been around groups of people where trans people older than around my age (I'm 18) would be so its possible it gets better with age, but if you look at someone closely you can almost always tell that their facial structure is just a little off. Sure if you look at it that way, but I mean I think its safe to assume they are usually talking about how straight women and men generally act and not literally that every single one of them acts exactly that way.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 11:51 PM

Gay and straight people don't date the same way. There is an entirely different atmosphere and culture between the gays and the straights, generally speaking. I have experienced nothing but a huge difference between how you interact and the interests in terms of dating between the genders. It's very likely that a higher percentage of gay men aren't planning on passing on their genes. Most of the world IS straight, and TRP isn't mean for non-straight men. It's not meant for women either, so it ma…

It would be helpful if there was some sort of proof to this claim. A video or audio clip from a RP person saying that queer or trans people don't exist. I think that maybe if anything its more likely that they just simply don't talk about it because RP is not for queer or trans people. Its for straight guys. So their silence doesn't nessecarily mean they don't think they exist. A car salesman doesn't talk about airplanes.
/r/ExRedPill15/09/22 11:03 PM

I've seen some pretty homophobic stuff in RP forums. But then again, RP is for men who want to attract women. Its not supposed to be for gays. But I dont like it when they degrade gays or say that they are just gay because they can't get pussy or whatever.

Who are you to tell me who I am attracted to? I'm not saying that i have anything against trans people. I wish them the best in dealing with their feelings in a way that will benefit them and not leave them regretful. But I personally can't think of any trans person I've been attracted to, thats all I'm saying. Not saying nobody should be attracted them, and not saying that nobody is. I've personally never heard if a RP person say that they find barely any trans person, regardless of their age, attractive. As a non-RP, even I don't find any of them attractive, and I'm even bisexual...I just don't find people pretending to be the opposite gender to be very attractive. Its rather off-putting. If I want a girl, ill find a girl. If I want a guy, ill find a guy.

I'm not sure "honest" is the right word though. I'm not being dishonest by not talking about something. It's not like I'm telling them I hate them or something before walking away. THAT would be dishonest. Maybe it's better to think about it as in - they would enjoy knowing someone likes them. But then again, many women have feelings to men that they don't express, and nobody ever talks about that. So it's all on the men to express their feelings first.

Build your social network. Hang out with as many guys and girls as you can. Go to parties. Throw parties. The more people you meet, the more likely you are to randomly meet a girl who is interested in you. How am I supposed to find guys and girls to hang out with when I don't have any friends to find them through? approaching woman isnt bad or immoral or unhealthy I feel like for some reason I conflate dating with being taboo, since nobody ever talked about it except in private online when I was growing up. So that might be one reason why I never have the courage to approach girls about dating. I am trying to unlearn this but for whatever reason I get a gut feeling that I'm going to offend them going into taboo territory so I never talk about it.

Same basically. Some posts in here just further confirm RP concepts so sometimes I am not sure which group is more incorrect and hypocritical. They both seem to just attack each other. I've never heard anyone in a red pill chat say that it made their dating life worse. Maybe I'm just not applying it correctly, but then again I don't want to apply red pill because it doesn't fit my morals/beliefs. So I really don't know what to do either.

Late bloomer as in, social skills. Most of my peers at school were having relationships in high school, even if they weren't sexual. I understand things might be different depending on where you live?

Yeah I've been looking for hobby groups but the ones around me are all sports. I have a bad knee injury that keeps me out of physical sports (I can't do anything better than a fast walk atm) so its been hard trying to find ones that suit me.

Yeah thanks. I'm trying to find all sorts of outside jobs and such, freelancing and such. I have a job at a church, mow lawns, and do occasional other random things. I am always looking around online and on freelance gig apps and such but half the time I'm either "too young" or I "don't have a degree", or some government regulation or license thing keeps me from entering the market or it has no social aspect...despite being perfectly capable of doing whatever the thing is.

I'm in the US. In the US, when I refer to "traditional sexuality" I mean that people were more conscious of where they stuck their thing since they actually had to think about the consequences. Yes people had sex, I'm not saying that they didn't. But they certainly were more picky about it, had less partners, and married earlier (then had lots of kids IN wedlock, and generally pair bonded well in a single marriage for a longer amount of time on avg.). Now in terms of the rates of STDs - I believ…

Yes I have no idea what to call myself. I've not actually had sex with anyone yet so who knows what I actually like, but I feel attraction sexually to both guys and girls, but never really rationally want to act on those feelings unless I'm either close friends with the guy or in a serious relationship with the girl. But I've not had close guy friends who were into guys nor a serious girlfriend so we'll see how things go lol.

Interesting. I feel like I always want to initiate but can't get my self to. Probably just simple anxiety though. Only thing I've ever thought sounds disgusting is eating a girl out. Hey I went my entire grade school not dating anyone because I just didn't see why everyone thought sex was such a huge deal (and still don't) but seeing my friends dating makes me want to as well lol. I wouldn't say I'm asexual because I do get aroused but its just like, in order for me to actually act on that arousal...you gotta have a lot more than looks and its difficult to find that, especially at my age in the hookup culture generation.

Thinking is my favorite hobby as well. Anything intellectual about life I can talk to people about for hours. Unfortunately most people just find me boring and give me the one word answers. Because you percieve my speaking as seeming that way. Men who's mission is to have lots of sex will cater to the majority and not the minority.
