I stay somewhat in top of news because I live in part of the world where it affects my daily life but I have a similar situation as you I just don't enjoy discussing it because I feel like a male buddy when we get into it Even if it starts playfully With time I realised that though as couple we r really good in relationship communication, buywe have different style of communication when it comes to topics like that He likes to wrestle with such topics. He's not so patient and open and flexible t…

He doesn’t have a problem with when I don’t cook, it’s my feeling of anxiety. My hubs has a chronic gastritis so 9 times out of 10 if he will have to eat something out afterwards he’ll have health complications I’m trying to deal with my anxiety just by letting g go of control and leaving something for life to take care of My hubs is conscripted into army, so there’s irregular schedule that makes it hard for him to cook himself I’m not sure I understood about coaching and changing him. I’m not r…

Wow, if u feel like this everytime after any type of of sex, I’m afraid it’s only a Therapist that can help, I’m sorry, not something a forum can do

Have you worked with a sex therapist specifically ? If a therapist talks with u like a friend it’s a bad therapist I was objectified a lot because I was curvy from early on, what helped was getting together with my then boyfriend. Now I’m not scared anymore because it kinda turned around I use this, now I chase, and u can make me feel good and I’m selfish and enjoy it. It’s probably just copying but what helps my psyche is positioning me into that scary person who desired me. Now I’m thr bad gir…

Sounds good. Where I found I started to have a problem is on certain days just not cook or prep anything for him. I started feeling anxiety and guilt and it took me time do this “letting down” kind of For me it’s like addiction because you get such good feeling when that person shoes appreciation Maybe u could advise me how u handle it?

I'm a bit confused about the choice of sub. It is very unlikely you will find here the woman you assign the question to, so we’re just discussing what others do and “how it should be” People make their choices. It's not new to use bodis to gain money. Whatever they want to call it I really dont care Family life is not for everyone, it's hardships sometimes, it's sacrifice. If some woman would be happy living like this, I would not vote to put her in handcuffs for this It's the same for abortion …

He was more insecure about his body, less sex with him on top, and more effort to get me ready. He also noticed that it took me significantly more time to warm up

I had a history with my hubs gaining weight. It’s true, it totally affects the bedroom. Well I started hitting the gym, dropped a few kg and was wearing tight clothes at home, flaunting how good I look. . At first he was joking that he’s a Shrek next to me, but eventually I feel like he got a bit “threatened” by how men look at me. He got in shape, lost 12 kgs, I’m very proud of him

I was in some situations were husband led and unfortunately his decisions put us in harder situation. You know what, nobody died. He analyzed it, we talked about it and he used that as a learning experience I used to be extremely scared of hubby losing job, and when he did once I just learned that omg word doesn’t crash in that moment Anxiety is anticipating what could go wrong. What helped me is see it happen, and it was just gone There’s a lot of shame and guilt in relation to making a mistake…

For me in depends on whether u already live together :) Dating going around in beautiful places is nice enjoy it, don't think too much yet I believe the true fit checks starts with living together. Chores, seeing each other when u r tired etc

When you're with him and he talks about his loss do you feel like u need to give him energy? Or your energy is being taken away from u? My hubs is in very difficult situation right now, and he's processing it. When he talks about his problems I now know he mostly just needs me to listen and validate his emotions Before I used to dive deep down into his “emotions or state, make it my active business to cheer up his mood etc. He communicatefd to me that when his upset he wants to come to me and be…

Well if you want long term relationship you need to speak to people who are already married. If all of them are single, how cna they advise u I have both married and single girlfriends in their 30s, their attitude and advice couldn't be more different. People can't advice on staff they're not living daily I still enjoy talking to them even thogih I'm married because I sometimes crave that feeling of being free and I genuily respect them. We just don't question each other life choices But have to…

You keep saying that people keep flirting with you. You might just be very attractive, and people feel playful around you, like flirting is natural around you. Does it make you uncomfortable? I know people who’s always playfully hint, but it’s part of the social game Not all people you happen to pass in life are what you attract. People around you mostly are defined by circumstances. Like people on dating apps might be looking for short-term not necessary because you “attract” that. I worked thr…

Aww you got it girl Funny thing is I shared what is my daily struggle, I don’t feel in no way I already beat this instinct, still getting there Oh yes, I grew up very religious, it totally played into it and added to the fire 😁 Good luck 🍀 As I wrote in other comment, my goal is to get comfortable with observing men who are uncomfortable and not engaging to get them comfort uninvited It’s total torture for me haha 😆 I guess I still need more therapy for it

Yea my mom too. She had 3 under 7 at one point 🫣😅 I can catch myself forgetting to brush teeth when really overwhelmed and on auto-pilot. Funny I never associated this state with my mom exactly until now just in general “focusing on people around me more than myself” But now that u said it, totally checks out 😳

I’m sorry I don’t have specific answers for you. I was taught by me therapists to stop and think and then start leading question to - and then what ? > chain, until you get to all the why’s. Again therapist would be very helpful Instead of task of seeking out red-flags you can concentrate on your feelings next to him, and start asking yourself, how do you feel truly, and what are your expectations With the first guy, you mentioned you saying to him you’re not looking for relationship or somethin…

I’m coming to terms in life that.. I don’t believe that my advice or idea is that one thing people are lacking to change their life. If I just said and helped them. That I just need to give it to them and then their life will change It’s tempting to be a “problem-solver” I think It’s always that persons own agency Yes I also get frustrated when I don’t like solutions I hear, but..they’re working out their own life lessons If I’m asked for solution, I will give an opinion but not a flat out plan …

If you’re dealing with something for the first time how do you expect yourself to know everything It’s a learning experience. I’m sorry your fiends are not good with emotions and helping you express and figure it out. If possible please get a therapist I wish somebody told me this sooner. It’s good to engage in relationships to learn. It’s not a score sheet where it has to be perfect so you wait for only perfect You will also need to learn. As long as you make conclusions ( and your friends are …

We can be unaware of toxic patterns we picked up. It’s tough to break them From a side it seems dumb for somebody who doesn’t have that experience but believe it’s not like we had anybody in our lives point out and say - hey girl this is unhelpful Almost all woman in my family repeat those patterns, so they can’t help me. I learned to be aware of it only when sharing apartment with girl who was brought up as a younger child, spoiled in a good way by her dad This is where I saw what u need. And a…

Hey gal. I’m just like you, and I make those mistakes. But. It’s not irreversible, believe I know. Once I realized it, I made an effort everyday to stop myself when I feel I’m starting to baby my husband It works, the smelly garbage in the kitchen that just stays there, the lack of clean clothes, and telling him when it stinks.. What I tell myself is I have the same hardware of my grandmother, who babied my grandpa to point of helplessness, she lost respect for him I’m an older sister too But I …

Ahh I see, we are a little backwards in Eastern Europe ourselves 😅 so when it comes to physical protection we don't mind the overpower part. When it comes to harassment even at work it becomes business of my bf, husband, friend, uncle 😅😁 though younger generation is already not like me, I'm ‘95ver Sincerely good luck to you, u guess I dont had a good reply If the guy have seen you, I have no idea what he's playing

She can “put a ring on a right finger” and “announce engagement” with just jewelry Or for you to pick her up from work a few times, making sure to make eye contact with guy in question Men are scared of other man kinda If I ever get any comments, I always reply with like, oh yes my man is very lucky and he knows it I think I even said something like my man is into boxing and he loves it 😆 when I didn’t even have a boyfriend Maybe it’s not correct advice because it’s not her just kinda standing u…

Well, I never told my now husband he was my first kiss at 25. And I knew I would never tell anybody about such bad lack of experience because it will affect mg self-esteem as positioning as woman , I mean you can just not tell, or say lower number. Why not?) you know men , they only copy how you carry yourself, if you show you are to be adored they will )

You mentioned a first to marry It takes time to gain experience in relationships. Confidence to look around after 1rst, working that emotional iq to réalise you are not just getting together with first person who “validated” your attractives or is it a codependent relationship or no. As for me, it’s hard to have enough experience and relationships if you only had one. Not a big pool to learn more I don’t say you need 3 or 10. But one is risky to put all your bets on, plus you would put enormous …

Therapy. Please have at least few sessions to talk it out Just better looks won’t solve it, there can be always someone more attractive around, not loosing you shit around them is paramount to Goff relationship Is it possible you might be putting your bf a bit on a pedestal? Like he’s perfect. Do you guys live together ? Have you seen him beeing annoying, lazy, nitpicky etc? It seems like he’s such a “prize” The way I handle it is I know my man has flows, which I accept, and it’s not like he can…

I have a straight ( has a gf) male colleague at work who started doing nail polish. I don’t like and try to ignore it, but I think it more has to do that in my head it’s coded as female I wouldn’t say anything to him, he does what he wants, it’s just my knee-jerk reaction to look away My husbands hates very visible obvious makeup because he’s very touchy with my face But believe when I do a very good makeup that gives me a fresher look he sure loves it I just learned with him he likes foundation…

It seems like a depression, rather than a relationship problem first When chemistry in brain is off, it seems like nothing can be done. After sweating and exercising, it always feel mentally better You might need that exercise for your mental health first. It also seems you have issues with suppressing anger, with how victimezed you describe you feel. Kickboxing is great but seems you need a lot more of it It takes a lot of anger to shrug off circumstances that put us down, and it’s not necessar…

I think it’s enough to just not make it your point to argue every single thing I would not call myself submissive necessarily, I just 1. Don’t have energy to argue 2. I rather we do it his way and he deals with consequences then arguing we do it my way I grew up with younger brothers. Telling them how to do staff always made me feel like a mommy. I hated that feeling, and I feel the same when telling my hubby how to do things when he didn’t ask As for shyness. I too am shy. What helps me is just…

A word ranking just throws me off, but I do understand you get perceived in a different way when looking groomed and well cared for Especially by man. Sometimes I’m joking they get a bit cautious around such girl, and it’s cute to watch :) I guess I would say, for me it’s about how I get treated, and it’s just about knowing the social game and making it work for you. Not using it is like swimming opposite the steam, just why But I really don’t like the comparison part or ranking. People of men t…

I think the fact you only slept together and haven’t done more is the reason he still held on to his mystery in your eyes. I’ve been there, couldn’t get over a guy for damn 3 years because I only seen him from a far. We get really attached to “what might have been”, its hell of a drug) What helped me was investing more time in myself and realizing I need to start going on dates. Also getting angry at him and doing kind of revenge glow up If you lived together, and you saw him scratching his ball…

I’ve been in this sub for a few months I lean conservative but open minded I was looking for a forum where woman would share questions about relationships, so far I don’t know how but almost every question I can relate too. When I hit 25 I felt very betrayed by my upbringing because I was told to chase good grades and work. My hormones hit and I didn’t care about work that much anymore. You sound a bit younger You don’t need to be very pretty or popular to get with somebody. You don’t have to be liked by all men, just one, since you can only have a relationship with one at a time :) When I look around I have girlfriends who all look very different, and have very different things on which relationship gets build. Looks only matter in high school:) Relationships are also routine, you see each other in unflattering angles, and get used that somebody will see you as u are In terms …
