Instead you responded to bait with a long diatribe about how you have a happy loving family and how you are so successful -- exactly what a happy successful person would do!

Check my post history, I went to one of the best universities in the world for computer science and graduated top of class with two degrees.

I'm both not a red piller and I make more money than both of your kids combined at 22. GTFO lol

I pity those poor children.

Attempting this kind of bait is just further confirmation that you can't come up with a real rebuttal. Pathetic, go drink some water and walk it off.

Thanks for conceding the argument. Good day to you.

You're the one that said "see ya", I simply stated I will not accommodate someone who doesn't believe research-backed numbers. Stop projecting.

The existence of a societal problem doesn't hinge on the existence of a solution. I'm not being vague at all, I have given precise arguments. I will simply state that "I don't have a solution, but this is definitely a societal problem", which is plenty sufficient for our original discussion. What you're doing is trying to get me to defend something that is different but related to what I originally argued while ignoring the original purpose of the discussion. Here is exactly where you changed th…

Are you slow? Having a peer reviewed document with the correct numbers is literally sufficient for any debate, if you doubt the numbers, it's your job to go through the document and explain what's wrong with the methodology, it's my job to simply present where I got the numbers from. And also, 5300 men is a representative sample. Please pass a statistics class.

I will not proceed with this discussion of solutions until you openly concede the original central argument, which is stated in the previous response. Otherwise it is mindless speculation that you can easily poke holes in. The thrust of my argument is not relevant to whether I have a sound solution.

I have given sound justification and evidence for every statistic I have used and I have presented my argument for the implications of these statistics. I have even charitably engaged with you on speculating about why these statistics came to be, but I will not continue to accommodate someone that doesn't believe the numbers just because it doesn't align with their world view.

I am calling for government intervention. I'm not calling for the type of intervention you know how to attack, which is government enforcement. What I'm saying is pretty obvious, and I've been consistent and clear about it, but you're pretending not to understand because it's easy to attack the strawman.

How do you explain the 30% disparity for women in the same age bracket in this study? I mean there are really only a few options here. Either women are dating outside of this age group a smaller number of men are dating multiple women at the same time women are lying about being in a relationship (or men about not being in one, which somehow doesn't seem likely) Or some combination of the three. Many are quick to attribute it to number 1, but the age gap within a relationship doesn't seem to be …

I am not ceding your point, you are simply declaring victory because you know you don't have a proper counterargument. Cultural change is still collective action, and can be spurred by governments.

I dont think the portion of men being selected out is as large as you believe it is "in 2023 Pew Research released a study which showed 63 percent of young men between the ages of 18 and 29 were single" "The number of young adult virgins in America hit an all-time high in 2023, as a record number of both men and women between 22 and 34 reported they had never had sex. The study, conducted by the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) among people of all sexualities, found that the proportion of…

It was simply an example of a cultural change. And I specifically stated three different times that it is not "government enforced" or whatever. Do you even read what I write before you decide to vomit whatever response you feel like?

Government mandated arranged marriages in order to give everyone equal opportunity to breed? Not what I said lol. Maybe women prefer other races in the west? Is it wrong to have sexual preferences? No. The inability to find a sexual partner is, by definition, natural selection. Okay, if a large portion of men decide, why should I continue to uphold a society when I'm being selected out of it, what do you think happens? Why should men continue to work, continue to progress society, continue to bu…

If you read carefully, I've already suggested what might be the correct change to make. And I didn't say it has to come from the government, in fact I actively stated that this doesn't work. It comes from a widespread cultural change.

incels are the evolutionary tangents that get left behind Ah, since you're blackpilled, let me point to some uncomfortable consequences you're going to have to accept as a result of this. Are Asians evolutionarily inferior to other races? If not, why are they highly overrepresented among incels in the west? What makes them evolutionarily inferior despite their superior intelligence? In fact, for the first time since it was tracked, average IQ has declined in the past few years. How do you know w…

Society can help with those problems, its something the government can actually assist you with. Society isn't just the government, boyo. I only gave the example of financial problems because it's easily tangible and the government helps with that. We are actively amending our culture for the benefit of women existing in it for example. If they want to remain part of that society, yes they do. If the large majority of your physical work forces leave society that's the end of that society. What s…

I care that people are affected by things outside their control. Having poor dating prospects is literally by definition outside of your control. In fact it is even less in your control than finances are. A large percentage of people who use social safety nets are drug addicts and violent criminals. Someone who did well in school, has a decently well paying job and did nothing wrong in life can easily have poor dating prospects. So you’re arguing we need a social security style “program” to fix …

What about them? They’re for people legitimately going through a hard time, hence why they’re means based and conditional. You just said my debt and bad financial choices isn't my problem, but people going through a "legitimately hard time" are often a result of debt and bad financial choices. Why do you care about it for them? I have no idea what you SS point has to do with anything. Try to keep up with the analogy boyo. You said that individual problems only become a collective issue when an o…

Your debt and bad financial choices isn’t my problem. What about those who benefit from taxpayer funded social programs? overwhelming majority of society had a problem dating The overwhelming majority of society does not live on social security.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 03:42 PM

Your last sentence is the equivalent of "your personal financial problems aren't a collective issue". It's hilarious that I need to explain this, but this is a classic motte-and-bailey fallacy. Yes, any specific individual's problems aren't a collective issue by definition, but when we see that many people start to have the same problem that specific individual is facing, then it does become a collective issue.

That's not what the argument is lol. Pretty pathetic rhetorical skills you've exhibited.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 03:30 PM

You ignored me when I made the same argument and do this pathetic ad hom song and dance when someone else does it. Sounds to me like someone doesn't have a good counter argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 03:23 PM

I can use this pull yourself up by your bootstrap for anything though. It's not society's problem you're poor, it's not society's problem your coworker made more than you, it's not society's problem that you weren't allowed into college etc. It's not that hard to make more money. That's just going to result in the degeneration of society. Society doesn't owe anyone anything. But a young male workforce also doesn't owe society their participation.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 02:02 PM

There are double the number of young, single men when compared to single women in the age group that largely populates the internet, of course to you it looks like women are happy being single. Moreover, even if what you were saying is true, how does it make sense to ignore the issues of half the population as "whining", that's just a recipe for mass disenfranchisement, and long term societal disengagement. Why would a working class guy who can just survive off of social security choose to work …

India's middle class has it backwards. India needs to get past the large amount of abject poverty and social division before they even think about feminism which seems to only be a pastime of women in posh communities and elite social circles.

Most philosophy departments (including at my home university - check my history if you care) is filled with postmodern garbage which shoves feminism down your throat.
