Yes! That's a great "blood in the water" test to vet guys. There's been a few posts here in the past about that strategy. Basically, you mention something insignificant that doesn't really bother you, but that can viewed as a negative by someone else. Like: "Hey I don't know why my 2nd toe is larger than my other toes." If he comes back in the future with something like "Yeah you've got that weird toe thing going on, you might not want to wear sandals..." then you know he's a LVM. The key is to …

Many female celebrities choose LVM and/or choose to be forever girlfriends. It’s shocking once you start to pay attention to it. What’s worse is that so many women aspire to be like them….and for what, to be a forever girlfriend to a guy who deep down doesn’t see you as marriage material? Health insurance for life is priceless IMO. Unless the new guy could guarantee the equivalent I can’t see the appeal to remarry.

Yes! Always keep learning to increase your self reliance. When I got my first apartment I also got my first drill. I learned how to hang up everything and anything from curtains to shelves and ceiling fans. Nowadays you can also find tutorials online to guide you.

I have my own separate bank accounts from my husband and we have one joint account for household bills. I inherited a large sum of money, which I’ve also kept in a separate, individual account as my F.U. money. So if anything happens in my relationship I have more than enough to sustain me.
