Hard Pass. There are so many things incorrect about that statement as it pertains to justice and the presumption of innocence, It’s basically another way of women trying to get a system to work for them instead of being objective.

I can see why. It’s easier for kids to do the same trip together. Hold out for the win and enjoy the view of your ex being a horses ass.

There’s a ton. Your five year old should probably do 7 on and 7 off since they’re school age. Your 2 year old school do something like a 3-4-4-3 or 5-2-2-5. You can google a ton of it but coparenting classes should offer those resources for parenting schedule. What state are you in?

The US is starting a wave of moving to presumed 50-50 custody and parenting time. It will be a long while before it’s basically the law of the land. I think you would have to make a divorce entirely non beneficial to both parties. It already sucks for dads. But I think we will live to see the justice system in dire straits and start looking at lowing alimony or limiting the time of it and pushing moms to work while dads to child raise. You’re seeing a lot of single dads with primary custody spri…

I’d get a lawyers opinion? Child support doesn’t get calculated by what she earns in my state it’s by what you can get paid for by your skill set. Example. If you worked as a nurse then quit to get more support the judge would impute her and she’d have to go back. I’m not sure but I think if she remarried it doesn’t change. They change parenting times if kids have siblings but that would lower your support. I believe? Because judges don’t really like to split up siblings. The bottom line is moms…

If you get an attorney they will probably be able to sign you up for the specific one the judge uses. Model the behavior you want from the other parent. You’re not alone. Once moms get the kids they think they are basically god. That’s the attitude that got us strippers and school shooters. Kids need both parents as much as they are allowed to have both parents.

I gotcha. Look into local parenting classes too. Sounds cheesy but you and her will never get around the fact that you will have to coparent and when moms get brought that reality you face a lot of retaliation. It’s best to know what you’re doing and how to handle interrogations from your baby momma before you get into this.
/r/MensRights26/04/24 04:43 PM

That’s good. I’d show that to your attorney. You could probably file to get your name on the birth certificate and then request those days and a couple nights so the kid gets used to you. Assuming you have a safe environment and know how to raise kids.
/r/MensRights26/04/24 04:38 PM

It will be really weird going in front of a judge and saying I’m actually the dad, probably won’t look great for her, If his name is in the birth certificate then that’s a whole process. But If you show up and file with evidence that you’re dad and you want to actively be in your child’s life then it’ll look alot better than her hunting you down because then you will have to fight up for time.
/r/MensRights26/04/24 04:26 PM

NAL. Once you file the state will calculate child support based off parenting time and both parents income. If you have your name on the birth certificate then you have paternity. You can get a lawyer and file for parenting time. If you haven’t been active in the child’s life I would probably look at some set up parenting plans before going full 50/50 parenting time.

It is bogus. We must force change for our kids.

No. You pay your child support obligation and then your finished. More cooperative parents can negotiate deals that pay for education or recreational stuff at the expense of giving up child support to give the other parent more time. But that takes a healthy ego from the custodial parent.

The inconvenient truth about modern families is that the economy is bad enough that mom and dad both have to work damn near full time. I read an article that 3% of boomer dads changed diapers and 91% of millennial dads do now. It’s not an IF. It’s just the way it is and probably the way it will be if you want to be a mother or father.

I mean if it’s for the sake of being a father and carrying the responsibility of that then go for it. You need to prove that increased time with you is in the child’s best interest. You need to have a change of circumstance as well. You also need to face the fact that you pay more money being a parent then being in the periphery and paying child support so don’t ever say that last sentence again.

It’s become a bipartisan issue now. Red states are going from giving dads the least custody time straight to pressured 50-50. Illinois is going to be behind just like we were with marijuana reform. Our kids are in big trouble. Move before your baby momma files.

I don’t think it matters where you are. If your spouse does something to jeapordize their earning to get more money from you then let your attorney know, they let the judge know, they impute your spouses income. Lots of moms tried to milk dads but they were also able bodied college graduates. It might jeopardize her side of the custody order too. Also, try an IRS Audit on your ex-spouse?

Men’s rights are a universal issue that dems and reps need to collaborate on. They can start on better healthcare for men by facilitating the same efforts that they put into women’s programs into men’s. Also, make all of the United States presumably 50-50 custody for children and then work down. Not the way it works now.

We for sure need to change the spin on lonely men to single dudes having adventures. I don’t know how the fuck women did it but we need to take notes. Being single shouldn’t be a stigma.

This and also why do they want to bring to light something they have advantage on? Don’t most single and childless women move to the top 10% of earners across their respected field? Give men more options.

There is a small portion of men who live there lives, work their job, get married once and love their wife, play with there kids, provide, and go to bed and they do that until they die and nothing bad happens to them. That is what men desire and it is denied to many, many men.

It should be paid into a child social security fund to avoid conflict on “where the money goes”. Mothers and fathers are blending home rolls now with mothers in the workforce and fathers being more active caregivers.

The majority of college students are women. The majority of people that get pregnant are also women. They have the benefit of being the victim and simultaneously have the benefit of being the privileged and thus this turd was formed.

This for sure. Think of the best interest of your kids for sure. She has too much going on to have commit to the job that is being a parent. If what you’ve told us is true then you’re being too accommodating and 50-50 needs to be put off for her until she comes back to earth.

Her plan is either to make you miserable or to remove any say you have in the matter. Which is basically her using your insurance for your kid. Make sure you document this any way you can and then go for joint decision making in healthcare. It’s probably a good look that you covered your kids so the judge will HOPEFULLY tell your ex to quit being a little shit, you never know though. Document and give these instances to your lawyer.

First off. Holy shit I’m sorry. If you can document evidence of infidelity it will only help your case because the judge will mostly likely say the same thing I just did. You can file for custody depending where you are. Depending on your state You need to let the court know your filing for divorce due to multiple infidelities from your wife and you would like primary parentage and shared parenting time.

Thisx2. What she wants and what she gets are two different things. If you’ve supported your kids via healthcare, education, food, shelter, etc. keep those receipts. It’s 2024 and not 1994. if you show that you’re a dad that puts out for his family and she’s going to try and sit on her ass to a judge and jury shes going to get burned and look like she’s neither financially or emotionally responsible enough to have custody. You’ll get 50/50 and be named custodial in that case.
