Thanks homie, I appreciate that. I’m going to forget about dating for a while and focus on my health, lifting and making money

Thanks man, honestly at this point my two options are to fully commit to changing and developing some fucking self esteem or slowly die inside and be a miserable bitter man

We're 27-28 so not that young but they are kind of immature. I did confront them today about it and they were basically like "it's a random group of girls dude, it's your problem for letting it ruin your night." So basically they didn't try to empathize at all

I’ve started to lift again, I went this morning. I don’t think these friends are fake they’re just kind of immature. Honestly I just drove over to their place and let them know how I felt. I feel like they kind of gaslit me but I’m glad I did it

I probably did look fucked up. Thanks man, I’m trying to build confidence

I started wrestling when I was 10 so I’ve always been strong but yeah I’m trying to put on 15 LBs since I feel skinnier than I would like. I decided I’m not going to drink at all, I’m not in a good place right now and alcohol makes it much worse

It’s really tough man. I don’t want to feel bitter towards my friends, I’ve known them forever but I don’t feel like they have my back.

I’m planning on being sober from here on out. I know dude, I’m sick of feeling sorry for myself, I want to look at myself with respect

No even worse, the girl my friend was with wanted to introduce her other friend that was out with us that night to my other friend that stayed home, the one who fucked her other friend the night before. It felt completely emasculating and like she looked at me like a little kid

Thanks dude, it honestly really hurt when that happened and I feel bad about myself today. I was bullied a lot growing up, especially by my father, so I don’t have a good self image even though I’m attractive and smart. I am in therapy currently and working on these issues

Maybe you’re right.. I do need to confront one of my friends though, it’s definitely a pattern for him where he disrespects me. He even called me a bitch last night when I was leaving ‘joking around’ and he knew I was in a bad mood from the prior events. I’m really trying to make boundaries with people, it’s just so hard to learn later in life since I didn’t have great parents

It’s very true dude. I decided I’m going to confront my friends and tell them I feel that they disrespect me when we’re in a group of women and I’m not going to tolerate it anymore

I am last man on the totem pole in the group and it is a very painful realization. But in this situation what would a ‘good’ friend have done in your opinion?

This is very insightful and a good point.. when you say no good friend would leave me with such emotions, what are you referring to?

I’ve known these guys forever, like 15 years so I don’t want to ditch them. They are good friends overall. I may be placed ‘last for the meal’ but it’s more because my friends are more aggressive when it comes to the situation and I haven’t been in a good place lately so I tend to hang back.. I am thinking of getting a second job on the weekends because I hate going to bars

Very true. My only focus last night was trying to get laid and that never works

I was definitely coming off as too needy and desperate. I’ve recently come to that realization that until I improve my mental health I’m never going to get the results I want with women so I’m going to go all in on building a life I’m proud of. I’m not really hung up on my height, I mean there’s nothing I can do about it so there’s no use worrying about it

Geez dude, it sounds like you need therapy yourself, to be this obsessed with height isn’t healthy

I don’t expect therapy to make women like me, but it’ll help me develop compassion for myself and that’s the most important thing

Thanks man. I’ve been seeing a therapist for the past year and just started meds. I also quit smoking pot and am probably going to try and quit drinking as well. Honestly it’s hard for me not to feel jealous of my friends since they get laid so much easier but the last thing I want to be is a bitter man so I just need to focus on myself and only compare myself to my past self.

Mental health is huge, I’m really determined to get over these issues, I’ve wasted enough of my life

I appreciate the reply but I disagree dude.. Mark Whalberg and Al Pacino are an inch taller than me, you think they have problems attracting women?
/r/seduction18/09/22 05:08 PM

Nah the dude is right. Me being short is the least of my issues.. my massive insecurities and how I project them onto women is my issue

I know man, it’s just discouraging because I’ve been dealing with it for more than a decade and it’s not like I haven’t been trying to make positive changes. You’re right though, if I validated myself from within I don’t think I would have spun out so much and would have actually put myself out there

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
