Brutal honesty. Behind closed doors, women talk about what they truly want in a man, while on the outward they'll say things like "Just be yourself". Not because they're evil liars or anything, but because in general women are more considerate of feelings than men (IMO). Behind closed doors they'll say stuff like "your hairline is terrible, just shave that shit" or "He'd be so hot if he just lost weight". The 2nd one being me. I accidently over heard it but it was honesty. It's much easier to im…

Obsession with belonging is pretty common. Because we at a base level don't survive as well solo, and our chances of success are slimmer.

In a relationship for 3 years now. Only been on here a short while. It just feels like a circle jerk/vent session, with men asking the most minutiae of questions, that really doesn't matter in the grand scale. Yes women like tall fit men, with a decent income. Yes men like hot women with cute personalities This is ancient news. not tall or fit as a man? Get fit. You can't get tall.. you can also up your income Not "hot"? again... gym just like the males. OR OR OR Vent, over analyze, debate bro, …

I honestly don't even know what they're trying to say... when i asked for clarification they went on some weird tangent about hetero men. Saying women don't like me or trust me. Then kept calling me a normal hetero man.

Why I like women - They're tender gentleness, female perspective on problems and issues, being an equal to explore and enjoy life's adventures. Their small quirks. The small but sweet things they do for you when you need it. I mean I can keep going? These are why my GF and I chose each other. Outside of romance? Everything they've created. I understand being ugly is a hindrance to dating but that's one part of the puzzle. Do some men have it easier? Yes... but you can't do much. All you can do is improve in other aspects. I swear a lot of the posts from men on here boil down to being lazy and stuck in analysis paralysis. YES some SHITTY things are TRUE in dating for men. Accept it and move on. Adjust and strategize accordingly.

Captain America would be a Good Man by my definition. Not nice guy. Nice guy would be any character Michael Cera plays. I think most women don't prefer Tony Montana over say a shredded dude, that's a rising music artist, and does dangerous shit like ride motorcycles/skydive etc. I think most women respect that more bad boy wise than a psycho murdering drug king pin.

Yes. I think it's obtuse for people to see it as an absolute. Anyone with a braincell can understand the nuance, that women want as close as they can get to this. If they meet their own standards, cool. If they don't, they're going to have a bad time. Worst case, they'll end up chronically on this board arguing with women instead of courting them. * Edit - You can get the positives of a bad boy, without being one. HVM = A Good Man to me. I see them as interchangeable. "HVM" just became more popularized in the manosphere or whatever they call it now (I'm 40). I think people confuse a good man, with a nice guy. Not the same. Good man - The positive attributes of a nice guy AND bad boy. Sans the negatives of these two types of men. Yes money plays a part. I personally think it's maybe no more than a 3rd of the equation. The remaining being personality, body, grooming, social adeptness, and romantically + emo…

At least me and my circle of boys. If we're genuinely interested, we'll appreciate the initiative, and propose an alternate date. I think most men, outside of this subreddit, do that as well. I don't think that's a wild opinion.

You're citing two extremes, that most men don't meet. Don't other species outside of humans, have it where the female desires the male with a lot of resources? So not necessarily man made. As far as starving artists etc. That's because they have status. They may not even have status being an artist yet, but if their girlfriend sees them as the next Picasso.... they have Picasso status with her. Did you just create a narrative based of your feelings? Usually in a debate the person starting it will initiate with some info/proof. All you did was say what you believed was true. Women don't like be approached by unattractive men. Not all men. Flipping the script won't magically make sexual harassment against women go away. Fam... your logic set concerns me. There's ABSOLUTELY a difference between online dating apps and irl approaching women. What in the actual fuck are you even saying right now? Then those types of men damage decent women, who get turned into man haters, because they think the fuccboi = what most men are like. Then those men treated like shit by those women, think all women treat men that way... Then LARP being a "bad boy" or "player". It's a vicious cycle.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 10:01 PM

This is starting to make sense when I pull from personal experience. I used to be a medium sized streamer on Twitch. I've dated and am friends with women that have top only fans profiles. The two I dated had goals and were locked in. Both were to get a house, and then rental property. It felt like a means to an end vs a career choice they'd stay in long term because they enjoy it. Thanks! I have more thinking to do.

This is genuinely opening my perspective, thank you. It's much deeper, that I thought. I already though it was deep too. My brain instantly goes to "how do we resolve that root issue?". Trying to identify the issue. It sounds like it's from broken homes be it from sexual, physical, or verbal abuse from parents. Or the R word. I have empathy, while not exactly the same context, I was molested as a child by a trusted male family friend. Therapy helped a lot. It makes me wonder if you or I had a "n…

Rejection 101 - Regardless of HOW you're rejected, when rejected, hit an about-face 180, and start stepping the opposite way. I know some women play "hard to get', but it's absolutely not worth it in 2025. Those "He was persistent and I fell in love" stories are all but dead in 2025. Just don't. NO means NO. Ah ok i had you confused with someone else. Back to our convo. In your scenario with me approach, you'd still have friends. I should add I got NC for 6 months usually if I dump someone or reject someone that had hard feelings for me, who was a friend first. If they still want to be friends after that, awesome I'm all in. I think it's fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:03 PM

Preface this by saying this is based off of numerous therapy sessions. Per my therapist, NC is prescribed regardless. You need time to heal as the person that has a crush on the other. Once you overcoming it (I agree it has to be overcame), you can decide if you want to be friends still. Some remain friends via false hope. I'd wager a lot. NC is to get rid of the false hope. It's also subjective too. Personally I'm not friends right after breaking up with someone. It feels unfair. Almost as if I…

Because most people that mention "THEY'RE TRYING TO MAKE US WOMEN AND WOMEN MEN" tend to lean MAGA. I could be mistaken, if so, my apologies. "so strength is like the only one they say is different. Otherwise we say we are the same." Why are you creating a strawman? I didn't say this. I named one thing. I'm not going to go on an extensive research pursuit to give you 100 examples. Just because I can't name multiple more off the top of my head, doesn't mean my point is invalid.

Because both men and women still have some valid truths. It's best to aggregate both, separate the waste, and keep the truths. I think this an exception not the rule. Most women putting men in the friendzone don't care when he gets a GF. I think men consume too much social media, thinking this is the majority rule. It's not. Internet is not real life. It's also a non issue if you're not agreeing to be friends under the false pretenses that it'll maybe be more.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 11:49 PM

While I agree with, I think the problem is that it's not tribal knowledge for a lot of men. Men have been BOMBARDED with music and media showing you can get into a relationship via being friends. That only works if she's interested. We were taught wrong by media and music. Ultimately I agree.. can't bein the friendzone, if you don't agree to it.
