| 3 | Having more kids?I’ve been split for 5 years now. Been with my current partner for 3 years. I was very up front about not sure of more kids or marriage and she was cool w that (I’m 36, she 40 had already resigned to no kids). i definitely thought about wanting more kids….then I wised up and bought a dog. Helps with the loneliness while the kids are gone and is a suitable substitute for my partner. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/06/25 04:54 AM |
| 3 | Being the stable one gets recast as controlling…fastThis the many thousands of dollars question…..I struggle a lot with this. The truth is things need to be pretty bad in one way or another for a court to act, and borderline emotional abuse generally doesn’t cut it, despite the fact that many of those behaviors should be dealt with. Example - my ex refuses to let the kids have one back pack. So these two beautiful brilliant little girls show up to school half the time with different backpacks (also sub in sports equipment/activity stuff here too)… | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/06/25 04:42 AM |
