I think the first negative is pretty big. If it was a one off thing, he probably would have added that detail. Since he didn’t he might have thought it was not a big deal. Most serious people tend to know the optics of getting drunk like that.

Yeah I am not talking about lying to yourself, but actually knowing what your expectations are. You know there are women who lose respect due to their surroundings too. And I think attraction can be a fickle thing, and it is important to have enough to support the relationship when things like beauty and youth fade or when there’s temporary hardships for the men. If the reason why you liked the person gets shaky, attraction can break. This can happen even when the undesirable trait could have be…

I kinda want to mention something else. Some of it is the woman’s own mindset. A man might not fulfill all the aspects, but still could have very respectable qualities. I think it often takes one to consciously focus on the positives. Just one negative could stand out, but it is often on oneself to still respect the person. You can recognize the negative and still respect the rest.

Not many “conservative” men are willing to wait for long either. You need to find very religious people in the West for that. Even “religious” people pick and choose what to follow and men oftentimes choose to not to wait.

Crimes are rare but they exist. As long as there isn’t a magic wand to make crimes disappear, it is wise to be cautious and take appropriate precautions. This would be like thinking wearing seatbelts is car-hating.

There's one girl I know of and she never received any love from her family and grew up without a dad, and ends up in bad relationships cause she has no idea what love is. I know her through my mom, and my mom met her while my mom was volunteering to help less fortunate adolescents. My mom still tries to help her out and give her advice, but it does not work.

I find them both absolutely disgusting. I don't know what's in their heads. I am sure every woman in my social circle would think the same way. I would keep my distance from her and all the men involved if I ever came across them irl.

As an individual woman, I think face > body for women too. Reason being, as long as you have a good face, the league of men you can appeal to is good as there's plenty of men with different bodily preferences rather than facial preferences. And as long as she isn't fat, it isn't much of a hurdle even aiming for top men. She may not appeal to every man in the league she wants, but enough of them. However, if you only have a good body, it does not work the same way. The only solution is surgery to…

I am sure it is partly an assumption of an undesirable trait that made him stay a virgin she has not figured out yet if he is a virgin, cause it is widely believed for men to want sex. It is not him having been with other women that's a turn on necessarily unless he has been women who she perceives to be better than her, but rather him having potential flaws if he hasn't been able to have sex yet being a turnoff.

I believe as long as someone has an ounce of agency, how that person uses the agency matters. There’s different thresholds of ill actions that I would accept from people, but there’s no unconditional love even for children as long as they have some kind of agency.

Is there absolutely nothing you can do to attain what you want? If so, living in delusion is also being weak. Only when you are moving towards your goal or when you have reached a point of acceptance is considered strong. And as humans, we often don't get to have what we desire. Most of us have very little control over our circumstances. The best we can do is to focus on what we can control, and reach where there's hope to reach through what you can control.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 10:04 AM

Stoicism is about accepting what you cannot control and focusing on what you can instead. It is honestly the only way to move forward. Stoicism is not about ignoring emotions, but enduring them while moving forward.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 09:52 AM

If you complain, that's usually seen as weak. Being stoic and relentlessly overcoming your adversaries is considered strong. I am not really sure what you are doing to actively improve your situation. If you are, good for you. If you aren't, better get to it.

most virgin women realize that they're inherently more valuable because of that It is only useful for marrying into conservative families tbh. What guys care more about is looks in general. it will allow them to get a guy a few points higher on attractiveness scale for long term / marriage BS. Dating was so much harder after high school due to the expectation of needing to have sex, and I had to forego dating a lot of guys due to this. Most guys end up dating the woman they date. No LTR with the…

I actually am against paternity testing at all so we could get back to purity culture. Any woman who has had sex especially to an excessively degree would not be taken seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 01:54 PM

My net worth is incomparably high compared to my boyfriend’s and we are both volcels. Questioning either one’s fidelity is denying the other person’s entire being.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 01:44 PM

If the bare minimum you speak of is a paternity test, that’s paranoia. If a woman has been having sex with multiple men, the relationship was rocky and they were separated at the time, and if they are only getting together for the sake of the baby, paternity testing is clearly justified. Otherwise? Best of luck to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 01:34 PM

If he doesn’t believe that I have the bare minimum conscience, it is not going to work out. If he doesn’t believe even that much? Him wanting to have a child with me is a bigger issue. No one should choose a mother/father of one’s child that easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 01:19 PM

More people should think about what kind of person you want to have as your children’s father/mother and vet that way. People have children with shitty partners too easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 01:16 PM

Physically capable? Sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/24 11:37 AM

That can be your standard. I intend to be a woman my partner can give the benefit of doubt to, and my partner’s minimum standard the mother of his children should be no less than that. If he cannot trust me, either I am too shitty to be the mother or he doesn’t know me well enough to be making me the mother of his children.

Neither. Under a traditional household, a wife is a mother who keeps the house in order, and I do not mean housework. The husband mainly respects her for her wisdom she brings to the family, her ability to pass down and embody values effectively which he must share with her (i.e., he is against hedonism like her), not her ability to cook and clean. Every family I know of that just wanted the wife to cook, clean, want kids, and just be loyal never respected her ever.

That happens a lot more among older couples particularly among those who are divorced or widowed. Such relationships are a lot less prevalent among younger individuals.

assume he would be if he could Having had no opportunity is seen as a wildcard not an assumption at least to me. However, I would choose a tried and tested option over a wildcard since I can. Like how you've said that you "really perk up" when these women are tried and tested.

Ime, the men chosen by attractive women tend to be decent looking high income men, but not quite as attractive as the woman. Those are the highest mate value individuals in each gender probably. However, if a man doesn't have something else that makes him stand out, it will probably be more about looksmatching.

they think all guys with options would do the same. I actually think the trick to finding the best guy is to see what the guy does when he does have the options. Having the opportunities reveal who the person truly is. That's pretty much the basis of the redpill argument of what a woman does while she is desirable is what truly matters. I grew up with a never-a-playboy father who was very desirable fyi.

I am not going to immediately make such assumptions but would definitely be cautious. Also that’s one of the main reasons to not date strangers. I need to know what he is like before I decide to date him. People who take dating more seriously and are future conscious are not very likely to date complete strangers imo and are actively looking for marriage worthy traits.

If a man knows nothing about me but is into me for my looks, I would see it as objectification as who I am inside is meaningless. At the same time, if someone wants to get close to me only for my money, I would also see that as being used.

Okay, here's the thing. So as a woman I get interest from guys I know well and I don't know well. By a certain age, we get to know the chances of being compatible with a total stranger is rather low. I can't help it but to think that the guys who know me already have just done more vetting and have a much higher likelihood of being sincere in their approach. I basically want to be valued for more than just looks in the first place when the interest is shown. Also, it is very sus when a "high val…

Is this bait? You want a celibate woman as a guy who slept with a prostitute? I get that you want a celibate woman, but having slept with a prostitute is way beyond what’s excusable. You have to think about what has kept her celibate. You have your reasons for acting the way you did/do, and celibate women do too.

Choose someone who is able to forego a good bit of selfcenteredness for her family. A person lusting over you can still lust over someone else.

You don’t have to make it like Joshua. I usually just put in napa cabbage, some mushrooms, lotus root and frozen sliced lamb in prepackaged broth usually (yes, you can judge me for this). You can basically reduce down the recipe to what you really like. Look for a local Chinese grocery store. It ain’t so bad.

Where I am from, they have a mix of the anglosphere classics and recommended literature from my own country. But the curriculum is very different, and I am pretty sure kids are only tested on what's in the textbook, and kids don't have to read anything else for grades. It probably was more about whether your parents make you read them or not. Oh, and no one actually read these books. FYI, I read all the books myself.
