It's not even that. Some times the argument is not even about a woman, there's literally no woman to simp. But you're still labelled a simp.

If it makes you feel better you can be a straight woman and still be called simp, even if you are not defending anyone in particular and just disagreeing with point they're making. I ain't mad tho, I will definitely simp my girlcrushes.

I don't think most victims of RP are young. They sound more like men who are "past their peak" so to speak, and need to resort to snake oil salesmen's advice to hook up with young women who ain't checking for them.

You don't need to get a woman. You can live a perfectly happy life without necessarily being married or being in a relationship. There's a billion things to do in life other than dating.

Nah, I don't think that's gonna work. You're assuming that if we remove the physical factor, the "amazing" personality of the individuals will shine through and their partners will be totally mesmerised by the charisma and depth of thought they posses... yeah that's not gonna happen because a lot of people have an uninteresting personality, on top of being physically unattractive. I mean, how many people online have room temperature IQ, and you wouldn't be with them, even if you have never seen …

No way this dude is only 29. He probably put 29 cuz a lot of young women don't want to date men 30 and up, 29 is the cut off age.

Not only is he not 6ft, I also doubt he's only 29. Dude looks hella older, look at his skin.

Not to mention that if this truth becomes evident, that won't make guys go to the gym, take care of their skin and the way they dress Something that I've noticed lately, but in retrospect was super obvious: the cute guys who are a heartthrobs have nearly immaculate skin. No wrinkles, no discolorations, no age spots, no rough texture, no hollowed out undereyes, dark circles or eyebags... You can see a clear pattern of what women like (in a physical sense) yet a lot of men get gaslit and get told …

I ALWAYS talk about this, both on reddit and irl. A lot of people who disagree with me verbally, actually agree with me with their actions. People have the right to pick whoever they want, but it is hypocritical to pretend a man's looks (and age, because the two things are strictly related) aren't very important when choosing a partner. EDIT: not that it is the n1 thing, but that it is VERY important.

They are also most likely to play games with the easiest ones being pretending to not be interested I don't this this occurrence is very common though. We are not in the Middle Ages, if someone is giving you signals that they are not interested, they most likely aren't interested. Back then it was a taboo as a female to show sexual interest in a man due to purity culture, it made sense that a woman would have to conceal her interest towards a man to fit into what was socially acceptable. Nowaday…

Short answer: no. Long answer: no, most people don't "learn game" they either a) improve aspects of their life, fix their problems, refine their tastes, develop a deeper understanding of things, cultivate a hobby, take care of their physical appearance, improve their finances etc all of these things contribute to their overall betterment as a person, which in turn makes them more attractive. This isn't game, this is personal improvement. b) try to hook up with "easier" women, like women in third…

Redpill likes to give the illusion that much older men are more desirable to younger women Keep in mind that many redpillers are proponent of going to poorer countries to find a sexual partner and/or to find a wife. In a way they are correct, they are more desirable, but it's not due to being older lol
/r/ExRedPill26/12/21 04:37 PM
26

If men became more attractive as they get older, why does no one lie about their age making themselves older? Why do they insist in telling you they look/feel younger than their biological age? Why do they need to go to third world countries/poor countries to get laid? Even if men generally alter their appearance less than women do, they still change their looks to appear younger, not older. No man does hair surgery to have a more receding hairline, no man does hair surgery to have thinner hair,…

It works in part because redpillers are huge proponents of going to third world countries or poor places because their pick up techniques only work on desperate women. Notice how a lot of RP dudes have wives/gs from the Philippines/Thailand but no one has wives/gfs from Switzerland or Japan?

Redpill in theory is supposed to be about rejecting pleasant lies and facing reality even if it's harsh and hurts your feelings. Redpill in reality is 90% males trying to get female attention/sex, 9% males complaining about sOcIeTy, and 1% about facing reality.

Modern dating is hella different, you can meet people from other races, other cultures, foreigners, people you met online etc. You don't need parental permission and you don't need a chaperone, so you can be alone with your potential gf/bf and talk freely. You can even discuss sexual topics, money and politics on the first date, which was unthinkable in traditional courtship. The only gender role that remains is that in some cultures the man is still expected to pay for the meal. This custom is …
/r/ExRedPill19/04/21 12:55 AM
5

Bruh if by traditional you mean like the 50's then we have a different concept of what "traditional" means. From 1945 onward it's pretty much modern dating i.e. the couple goes on a date alone just the two of them and the man pays. That is not traditional that is a modern thing. In traditional courtship the man would introduce himself to the woman's family and the two would converse indoor in the presence of a relative, sometimes outdoor too.
/r/ExRedPill19/04/21 12:26 AM
4

"Traditional" courting is super restrictive you can't really do shit. You would need a chaperone at ALL times least you would be accused of improper behaviour for being alone with a male for 5 seconds. Sounds like a nightmare tbh. I don't really see a lot of women wanting traditional courtship though. Just normal modern courtship with flowers and dates and occasional gifts.

They are picky about women. Albeit I agree with your post in general I disagree with this point. They are the opposite of picky, they play the large number game and only get few responses, and even fewer lays. The scarcity of lays is due to them not being picked, not of them being picky.

Well even in the same tax bracket the men have a tendency of earning more than women, just not hugely so. For the genetic part yeah, taller men are preferred, because you can pass that attractive trait to your kids and people in general try to give their kids the best they can. I know wealthy people can be ignorant and stupid too, but wealth often gives you access to better schools, better healthcare, better company, more experiences etc. So choosing a wealthier man can give you the tools to liv…

Yes but also you have to factor in two things: The level difference isn't that big, especially in the west. There isn't just filthy rich and hella poor, there are several levels of income. Women date up but not hugely so. (I think social class correlates with wealth but of course it isn't the only component.) Most men make more money/have a better career than most women in general, so even if women didn't have a preference for wealthier men, they would still end up with a man wealthier than thei…

I do like the fact that they give you a good analysis of negative traits in women Me too. They often do a good job in analysing toxic femininity but I think they have huge blind spots when it comes to their own flaws. They are very lenient when it comes to analysing men but are very strict in analysing women.

I echo what other people are saying: they do have some good points. Mainly: most men and women do not respond to the same stimuli and most men and women have slightly different needs. Also hypergamy is real (I don't think it's bad either but ymmv). I do however believe that we have more in common than we have differences.

The RP is supposed to be about facing truths even if they hurt. The moment where Neo takes the RP over the BP is the moment he rejects comforting lies to deal with the unpleasant reality. That is what attracted me. I still hold the belief that people are not equal, no matter how much society tells us so. There will always be hierarchies. Even when hierarchies shift, you still have some type of hierarchy. Who is on top today will be on the bottom tomorrow, but Top and Bottom will always exist. Wh…

I think men are less lucky since quite a few of them find out they in fact are balding which makes them look much worse than they used to. Many women are subconsciously turned off by a receding forehead or grey hair, even if they don't realise it. I've noticed my friends reject/swipe left on balding/greying guys that would have otherwise been moderately attractive. In the original (not the Disney version) I believe Quasimodo does actually end up with Esmerelda. Esmeralda is hung and Quasimodo skeleton is found in the mass grave among other corpses years after. So... nope.

Idk about better health. Most people with kyphosis have a host of health problems derived from that condition. Quasimodo has a particularly serious version of that, it's not just mild scoliosis.

You forgot how Quasimodo has talents people haven't noticed yet. He's an acrobat and knows the church and the city like the back of his hand. I agree with you that Quasimodo has qualities too, but those qualities you have listed are not what most people look in a prospective partner.

Phoebus has better face, better body, better health, better career, better confidence and better mental health than Quasimodo does. He is even brave and and witty on top of that. Even if Q had a better personality (something that redpillers often claim to posses) Phoebus still comes out as an overall better prospective partner between the two.

Originally he was very upset that she falls in love with Phoebus, but ultimately they all become good friends Most people will never reach this point. I do absolutely believe they have some plates, but most RP creators are very very very mediocre looking, and none of them have youth on their side. I don't believe those late 30s, 40s and 50s yo can pull more than a handful of dates, let alone smash them. That's why many need to go to third world countries and approach Filipinas or Colombian women (ex: Matt Forney and Roosh).

From their perspective of losers, seeing a man who's winning at life is enraging, therefore they have to attribute negative qualities onto him. It cannot possibly be that he is simply superior to them, no, he must be an asshole.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/20 12:17 AM
1

That's not an assumption, people with attractive looks tend to have attractive personalities. The fact that there are exceptions doesn't disprove the rule. I know some people who eat a lot who are stick thin, this doesn't invalidate the general rule that people who eat a lot tend to be fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 11:57 PM

I don't think "not caring too much" and "not giving her affection" are assholish characteristics though. Idk they seem like normal behaviour to me.

Exactly. "I don't like him therefore he treats women badly"
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 11:32 PM

Niceguy definition of asshole is someone who dared being more successful than him. They project negative qualities onto men who are sexually attractive because they can't cope with the fact that the good looking guys also have better approach in communicating.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 11:23 PM
5

The """asshole""" makes it clear he wants sex without hogging the conversation. The niceguy tries to appear morally superior and is endlessly verbose in his pursuit of pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 11:16 PM
4

That's space to breath, you communicate what needs to be communicated without dragging the conversation. Do you really think that by communicating time for sex you were ignoring her? You just communicated normally.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 11:12 PM
6

Asshole = guy that is confident Ignoring women = giving them space to breath Scorned lovers always see the guy getting the girl they wanted as an asshole, and in their mind assign him negative qualities. Niceguys always think they are being nice when they flood you with messages, therefore conclude that a guy not obsessing over a woman is ignoring her. """Assholes""" are normal guys treating women normally.

It's not a fault because men do it without knowing that other 11 men are doing it to the same woman at the same time. Hence an unattractive women feels validated in thinking she's prettier than she is because several different men, independently from each other, tell her she's pretty.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 08:55 PM

Lmao as if unattractive women don't over-estimate their value Lots of guys enable this behaviour by flooding unattractive women inboxes. If an unattractive woman thinks she's prettier than she is you can thank the dozen of men fuelling her ego.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 08:33 PM

A guy will be a 2 but think he’s a 5 I don't think most men realise how much balding, hair thinning, grey hair and fine lines affect their attractiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 08:29 PM
6

The most romantically successful guys I know don't have wonderful personalities. They're tall and vaguely in shape and thats the only common denominator. Men who are attractive and fit tend to have attractive personalities as well. Attractiveness of looks and attractiveness of personality go hand in hand most of the times.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 08:27 PM
7

However, women are much more respected. Meh, except a couple of countries in Northern Europe, American women are among the most respected on the planet I don't think most people get how shitty women have it in the rest of the world. I'd take verbal insults + western freedom over any other formal of superficial """respect""" that is only verbal. Freedom is true respect, everything else is lip service.

Hypergamy was controlled evil in traditional society Traditional society not only did not consider hypergamy evil, but actually encouraged hypergamy. All women married up in traditional societies, aided by their families brokering matches and networking with males of higher value. Hypergamy improved society by preventing losers from mating with decent women. Losers did not replicate their genes as easily in the past, they remained childless.

Yes, most women are hypergamous. I think hypergamy is more pronounced in traditional societies though. Ex: a traditional uneducated woman is more hypgamous when she marries a PhD than an modern graduate woman marrying a PhD. The traditional woman is marrying way higher than her social status, hence the degree of hypergamy is bigger. The "jump" in social class is higher.

Assertiveness and competence are almost entirely positive traits, regardless of gender. In women meekness can make her easily brainwashed, and incompetence makes her a bad cook and homemaker. So even if a woman is the classic tradwife being meek and incompetent is a net negative.
