I think that you're incapable of igniting that "spark" in someone else's eyes, because you probably don't have it in your OWN eyes. I think you need to both OWN your height, and also forget about it. Become the best man you can be - take care of your mental health, your physical health, your spiritual health, and you will begin to become more confident and charismatic, and that's when the spark will grow in your own eyes, and you'll start attracting women and you'll be able to ignite that spark …

Sorry to hear all of that, my dude. I wish there was a way you could get out of your comfort zone, or discomfort zone and get out and enjoy you some life!

If you don't want to "react" and "let them win", then I encourage you to ACT in a way that allows you "to win". Throughout the next year, focus on making good, local friends. Via hobbies, via church, via work, via school. Look for folks like yourself who might be single and in need of a good group of friends. Remember to get a good friend, you need to be a good friend. Cultivate good friendships, and, when it starts getting cold out, and near Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years, INVITE THEM OVER. H…

I'll always get a laugh out of Rollo Tomassi and his perpetually hidden head. Baseball hat, knit cap, you name it, Rollo's probably worn it. DUDE you are over FIFTY years old, start dressing and acting like it.

PUA stands for "Pick Up Artist".

The original "operators manual" was written by Neil Strauss when he was hanging out with a bunch of Pick Up Artists. The book called "The Game" was embraced immediately and led to a cottage industry in classes and camps, etc. As far as I can tell almost everything afterward originated with or was influenced by "The Game". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Game:_Penetrating_the_Secret_Society_of_Pickup_Artists?useskin=vector

Sorry! Yeah, definitely Manosphere/Red Pill/PUA content. Those terms are right out of the operators manual.

I used to tell clients to go and have conversations with waitresses. Granted, they are paid to listen to you and be nice to you, but they are also human beings with real feelings and a life outside of getting you your hot wings. Treat them as such. Be curious about them. If they have a name tag, use their name in discussion. It's such an easy win, and an easy on-ramp to having discussions with women, who, again, are real people with real feelings, despite what the PUA/RedPill community would hav…

A question like yours can have a million different answers, as other commenters have touched on. Remember that TikTok appeals, and wants to attract, the lowest common denominator, and evidently they are getting it, by the millions. I've never had a TikTok account, and only watch their videos under duress, when they come up on the Reddit Popular Front Page, but then again, I'm a really old duffer who can't be bothered with such nonsense. I fear for my kids generation because TikTok and other soci…

Well, I guess the good news is that it only cost you 100 quid to learn this lesson.

I'm a former certified life coach, and also old enough to be most folks' grandpa :)

Nothing if it's a small part of your life, and you have a balance between work and leisure, between health and diet and fitness. A great deal if it IS your life, and there is no balance. Are you spending more money on toys than perhaps investing for your future? Are you telling yourself "I deserve this!" when perhaps you don't, and there are other things you should be paying attention to? I see too many men who are not acting like men, and are instead stuck in some sort of extended adolescence, …

You're putting the cart before the horse, my friend. I wouldn't even worry about being a dad, being a father, being a boyfriend, or being a husband right now. Focus on being a better man. Focus on being a better friend. Clear the runway and focus on YOURSELF.

First, I LOVE that you're working on yourself, my brother. It's killing you because you keep taking the poison! It could take years to get to where you want to be physically, mentally and emotionally, accept that and embrace it. This isn't a race, it's a journey. Hell, I didn't meet my wife until I was almost FIFTY. Let that one sink in! And it's the most wonderful and healthy and mature relationship I've ever had. Also, I don't know your preferences, but man, going to church again was also a BI…

When you find yourself in the bottom of a hole, with a shovel in your hand, the first thing you MUST do is stop digging the hole. You must get away from any and all social media, websites, newsletters and content that you've used to hypnotize yourself into believing these things. Also remember that their past does not equal your future. You can be the one to break the generational curse, and have a loving, caring, old fashioned family. When it comes to dating right now, I would recommend that yo…

Probably those folks who think them "harmless" or "pathetic" haven't had a really good run in or exposure to one (or more) of them. If one was harassing you, or your daughter, or your wife, I think your attitude would change. I, for one, believe that they are NOT harmless; if not for the damage those wounded me do to others, then for the damage that they are doing to themselves. Harm to others is harm. Harm to one's self is still harm.

I used to be a life coach for men, and I came up with a healthy, holistic way that clients could change their lives, and it worked. For a while, until prospective clients started mentioning 'the manosphere' and pick up artists (this was back when Mystery and his ilk were popular), so I thought I might learn something from them. After digging deep, I really found that while some of their ideas were good - grooming, fitness, diet - the mind set they were promoting was really unhealthy and broken. …

Not even close to accurate. I'm late to commenting on this, but I think the ground rule for any and all men is to HAVE YOUR SHIT TOGETHER. Check your diet, check your fitness, check your finances, check your wardrobe. There is nothing wrong with just starting out, but there is something wrong with not having a plan to begin with. I used to tell coaching clients that they needed to create a life that a woman wants to be a part of. Are you creating that life today? Even if it's just baby steps tow…
