I consider my father high-value for his generation. He's definitely a typical conservative Boomer Midwestern male. He's practically emotionless - very neutral all the time. My dad has never once raised his voice at anyone. He has never shown the slightest hint of anger. He's prudish almost to a hilarious degree - if you've ever seen King of the Hill, that's my dad. He just gets up, goes to work, and spends his time fixing things, or making things, or looking for things, or hunting. My father is …

For real. Coworker think you're dumb because of your hair color? Make sure to offload some of your work on him so he can "do it better". A guy thinks you're not physically strong because you're a woman? Play into it and make him do the literal heavy lifting. Your guy thinks men are better driver's? Congratulations, you have a free chauffeur. Use their own misguided stereotypes to extract time, money, and free labor from men. We're not equal in society yet so until we are, suck them dry however y…

Oh jeez I hope not, I think she was just insane. She was talking about how her dad worked for the CIA and she was homeless by choice once so she could write a book about being homeless. You meet some weird folks at the bars around here, I usually fel fine talking to random women but they can be just as bad as talking to random men!

Yes I am in the US, ugh I hadn't considered all of that. I was out as soon as she said he was 70! And my friend was like, well maybe he has a son. And I said "you mean a grandson, his son would still be too old!"

Last night at the bar I was talking to a lady about a niche hobby that I have. We were talking about all sorts of stuff and she found out I was single. So she told me about a friend of hers who was super handsome, single, really smart and had the same niche hobby and that we should meet! I said, don't know. Tell me more about him. And she told me he is 70!! SEVENTY. I'm 35, like are you serious??? And another lady at a nearby table was listening and she leans over and says "well I bet he has a n…

I definitely took on a lot of negative aspects from my ex-husbands personality. It wasn't intentional or something I was trying to do to make him love me more. It was just a natural response to being around someone for 10 years straight. You pick up on their mannerisms and you get into a pattern of interacting with a person in a certain way and that spills over into your relationships with other people in your life. My ex was constantly in a state of agitation or being riled up or complaining ab…

It's not a covid thing. In the 9 months between me and my ex getting engaged and getting married he gained 40 pounds and stayed that weight the nearly decade we were together. Whereas I have never been plus or minus ten pounds in my entire adult life. It's definitely not stress either. Men don't gain weight from stress, they gain weight from eating too much and being sedentary. It's laughable to think that married men are somehow more stressed.

Men legitimately think that having a job is ALL they have to do in a relationship. Women have to work 40 hours, take care of the house, take care of kids, plan all activities, handle all of life's bureaucracy, clean up after everybody, maintain a social life for both her and the man, be available to him sexually whenever he wants and a million other things. Men think just having a job is their 50 percent and if a woman wants more she's a bitch, a nag, high maintenance, etc. Imagine if ALL you ha…

Well the problem is that men lie. If you start dating a man that is a "casual" gamer, you won't realize that he plays 30-40 hours a week until you live together. Men will say that they don't watch porn or just "sometimes when I haven't seen you in a while" but it's actually multiple times a day. Then they come at you with the "you knew I played video games and watched porn when we met!" Men have no concept of moderation or balance in their lives. Hence why I will never date a gamer. A man who pl…

They actually want to kill a woman. This is their convenient legal loophole.

Men have no excuse. They're at the top of the social hierarchy and if they're able-bodied and can string a sentence together they can slide into a $50k+ job with little to no effort. If they don't it's because they're lazy, addicts, or are waiting for a mommy wife who sees their "potential" to move them into her house and pay their bills.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
