S-corps pay out differently, as in you can take profit sharing and set your own salary, and might have some retirement benefits. I'm also the low earner, but I'm not going to fight for 50-50 over my daughter's will. Not sure what's going to happen now. Every day I picked the kid up, dropped her off at school so ex didn't have to sit in traffic or miss a meeting. Did all the school projects, all the teacher meetings, did grocery shopping, had food on the table at breakfast and dinner, summer was museums, swim lessons, summer camp, summer school, catching her up because the incompetent private school ex had to send her to just didn't believe in math.
