Yes, I think it is a good strategy, especially if you do not like shaving/removing your body hair but do it due to social pressure. Sex should be an overall pleasant experience. We, women, should not have to anticipate a whole logistic and schedule to "prepare ourselves" in order to "convince" a man to pleasure us. He should want to, body hair or not.

I understand your feelings OP and I'm fully with you ❤️ but can we please stop giving attention to all these men ? There is a (good) reason why FDS has limited "male depravity" posts and so on. FDS handbook gives us important advices to avoid receiving comments like this (such as either fully making your account private (no DM allowed, no public history of your reddit activity etc) or either having two separate reddit accounts, one for FDS content only and one for other subs). Please to all read…

I love make up (like reallyyy) but this has always cringed me. It is like saying "body hair removal is EmPowERiNg because I chOoSe it". Nah, sis you can admit that we live in a patriarcal society and that everyone has their bias. Not everying has to be "empowering" or "a feminist move". It just makes empowering so low value... Why should we encourage girls to study when they can empower by putting on some foundation and contour ? Oh wait. /s

Possible but very unlikely. Unless you are referring to 15 y.o LVM becoming HVM by 25 y.o, there is few odds that a grown LV adult will evolve to high valueness.

I agree it is a bit of fake activism, especially when it is done by women whose feminism convictions do not go further (and especially when they benefit from a whole package of beauty privilege, ie. white, skinny, young, rich or middle class woman). Personally I do like to walk without a bra as I find it more comfortable (I haven't petite breasts by the way) but depending on what I am wearing on top, I decide to use one or not. I have been harassed and nearly assaulted by a man four or five year…

Yeah, recently, a (girl) friend asked me if I knew lovely places to walk by in our city, because her colleague was freaking out at the idea of coming up with a lame date idea for her tinder match. I asked her if the guy proposed anything, she said "apparently no, and my colleague is scared that he is not into her already and wants to find a nice place for their first date to impress him". So many red flags.

Hun, is she really your friend ? You know that what she did is consedered a criminal offense in many many countries ? You definetely should threaten her with legal action, or say you are going to use diplomatic ways (embassies and stuff in China) to make her delete everything. Anyway, do not play the cool girl ever ! This is serious and don't hesitate to pressure her. You do not have to play nice on this.

I usually stare at the person as if their question was stupid/rude/inapropriate. I don't know if it's a great answer but I don't like the idea of justifying myself (even saying "because I haven't found the man who meets my needs" is already too much of an explanation IMO) and I don't like the idea of having to find "the cheeky sentence" that will make people zip their mouth. Most of the time, not answering makes them uncomfortable so that's my thing : not saying anything back.

The first lady (Cecilia) really worried me. I know she is victim and her trust has been violated. But I hope she has seen a therapist and worked on her attachment issues because if I understood the documentary well, they have dated for only a month before he asked her for money, and they had the time to become exclusive and look for appartement to live together ? And considering they have probably seen each other only 4 or 5 times since he was always on the run. That is way too fast, even if he …

I don't know how to start as there are many things that bug me wrong in your post. First of all, what do you mean this guy has wanted to date you since 2018 ? You didn't and he has never let go in four years ? Sis, that's a red flag in itself. I'm a bit tired today (not your fault of course !) so I don't want to continue listing the red flags I am seeing but honestly, read the handbook once again and many of your questions will be answered.

Hun, don't trust men to give you reliable dating facts and tips. Of course they will tell you that refusing to have sex with your partner if not in a commited relationship will scare every men away, even "the good one". Keep in mind that pressuring you to have sex with them is a rape : they get your consent because they forced you, with emotionnal manipulation, to accept. There is no way ever that a high value men (i would even say that a high value person) will ever be in a position of a rapist…

Men think roasting people is cool so unfortunately, they interpret women who roast them as flirting with them. If you want to piss them off, just ignore them completely. Don't answer, don't look at them when they are talking. If you have to answer, just keep it minimalistic. I swear there is nothing they hate more than that. If they are not agressive or completely psycho, they will usually leave you alone. However, the counterpart is that if you hang out with your girl friends and they do not ig…

I don't use dating apps so multi dating is hard for me (especially with covid). But here are my answers based on my experience : - If they ask me if I'm seeing other guys, I say yes and then I watch their reaction. Unless we are exclusive, I owe them nothing. But I would never give them details about the other dates, even saying "oh this one went wonderful". They don't need to know. - If they are dating other women, I don't care because they owe me nothing in that stance until we are exclusive. …

Honestly, he sounds pretty lame and the whole thing about his friend playing some weird role to help him talk to you is very immature and childish. Where are we, in middle school ? The whole "don't leave me opened respond! I want to see your face you're so pretty!" is very cringey too. Definetly getting bad vibes from your story (i mean, from this guy). Unfortunately, even when doing so (I'm deeply uncomfortable with sexual jokes and everything like that, I only appreciate it when it comes from my very best friends whom I have known for ten years so... yeah), it doesn't stop them from projecting. Thank you for your words, I agree on the principle. However, from my experience, since I have been a teenager, male friendship has NEVER worked on a long term. And I don't think I have poor taste in friendship, as I can count several HV women as my best friends. Men I've been friends with, they ended to treat me either as a Mommy 2.0, a future GF they fantasize about, a future sexual partner, a Little Sister 2.0 they needed to protect from other guys. I usually cancel dates when I get too anxious about them. Dating should be a fun and overall nice experience to have, not another stress event we add to our pile. And I usually think about the reasons why I'm so anxious to meet this guy : is it because of something he says or does that makes me uncomfortable ? From what I understood then, it seems like she was never your friend to begin with. You say it yourself "there are some points you appreciate", that is not how a healthy friendship works. I've only read until the fifth paragraph and already, yes, I would not be friend or acquaintance with someone like that. But I'm a bit concerned about why you describe someone you call "your friend" like that. You do not seem to have affection towards this woman, the words you use to describe her are very telling of how little you think of her so, IMO, she is not your friend anymore. Beyond the whole downgrade stuff that is truly the LVM mark, I think you (I mean that as a general advice for all the ladies reading us) should have been more careful about the lovebombing. So so true. And I'll even add that when you think about it, it is very strange to say at the early stage of "the getting to know each other" phase that "you will see where it is going". Like... yes ? isn't it the principle of getting to know each other ? Ah, I have forgotten that in boy language, it means they want casual sex and emotionnal commitment on your side.

Love the "claims men who are mentally ill or not financially secure should be avoided". As if men do not do the exact same thing with women. Ask every man on the street if they would date a broke woman who is struggling with mental illness. I bet you that every single one of them will answer no. There are literally statistics that prove many men leave their wife/gf when they get sick (more than women in a reverse position). But women are still the problem and should do charity work for them :))

Agree. As of today, I only have 2 male friends (real friends, not just acquaintances). One is gay (be careful ladies though, there is a lot of misogyny within the gay community. Gay men need to be vet too for your own safety) and the other is one the few HVM that I know. He is married to one of my bestfriends (we have known each other since high school, where they have started to date) and he has always been appropriate and (truly) nice.

I would say 24 hours without any answer is the max. We all have our phone with us all the time. And if he really were busy, it still takes 20 secondes to send a quick text explaining why he is busy and when he will be available (which should also be within 24 hours)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
