This is not legal advice, but what I can recall from taking Law in Grade 12 and this is Canadian law. If I recall correctly it has to do with marriage law. I used to have some friends in high school that one could class as 'radicalized" and my attempts to reverse that was futile. I ended up just cutting them out of my life. It gave me uneeded grief. And no I'm not saying that OP should do that. IMHO they should try making small victories that promote victories for both men and women and push that position on all being equal and victorious in thier own ways.
