Ya I realized pretty recently that if something about the way I am as a person/if I do something that bothers a girl I'm interested in, then them losing interest is just helping me dodge a bullet. I wanna be with someone that likes me for me, and doesn't care if I say dumb shit sometimes

That makes a lot of sense, especially the last paragraph about removing lust from interactions! I'm firmly in the feminist category, but I'm also starting to realize that there's definitely a different dynamic not just in men vs women, but in modern girls vs. the girls of yesteryear

That's really interesting about your first girlfriend, I've heard that being willing to walk away (and actually act on it) draws women in. Can you expand on how you out that into practice?

I think this really is the key. I used to listen to dozens of hours of podcasts, audiobook and yt videos on talking to women, and although there was a lot of good advice the best thing really was just practice. Learning to recognize my own game by leaning into my strengths and working on my weaknesses helped me realize that I wanted to go after girls that would like me for me, and it's made life so much easier. Not that I don't struggle, I'm still crap at cold approaches. I took a two year break…

I remember I got my first girlfriend using techniques from how to win friends and influence people, it seems to work really well for any girl I strike up a conversation with, but the approach anxiety is what kills me. I can talk to anyone I'd normally interact with (eg cashier), but just random girls that I pass by or at the gym? No way. How would you recommend dealing with this? Should I really just go to the mall and ask for random girls' numbers?

Could you expand on that last point? I'm just curious what specific behaviors the thirsty, chronically online men are doing. Do you mean like paying for onlyfans type stuff? Or the thirsting on Instagram comments of every girl they come across type stuff?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
