0	Why Sexual Objectification Doesn’t Matter in Video Games ["Under the definition of objectification, all main characters are objectified as being acted upon by the player with a controller."] But people were probably more likely to floss their teeth after hearing the song. The idea that the messages that media sends us doesn't affect our behavior is absurd. I agree with Zappa, what he's saying is that people should be free to say (or sing) whatever they want, because it's not directly causing anything, but just because it's not a direct cause doesn't mean it's not a (indirect) cause.	/r/MensRights	16/09/14 04:13 PM

Most TV and Movies are aimed at women, because female audiences are worth more than male audiences because women control more spending. Even if all X's find Y's attractive, the test for sexual objectification is not whether Y finds X attractive. 9	In Science, It Matters That Women Come Last Should be noted that this doesn't cover 'Science' papers, only math/physics/computer science. I've never seen anything more clearly wrong than: Sexual desire and attraction is a normal and natural part of life. It involves two (or more) people stating their desire for one another and consenting to mutually agreed-upon sexual activity. So, if person X finds person Y attractive, it's objectification, unless of course person Y also finds person X attractive? 3	Appeals court: Man can't sue judge who had affair with his wife during child-support case... This article doesn't exactly make it clear what happened to the husband in this case. It would be acceptable if the judge was disbarred, and this ruling thrown out and the case reheard by a new judge. Pretty shitty for the guy who has to pay for a new lawyer. It would be better if the judge had to repay the legal expenses. Not sure 'don't sleep with a party involved in a case you are hearing' is a 'new' rule for a judge.
