Clubbing and going to a concert are not necessarily the same thing. Concerts can be wholesome. If she goes to a Luke Bryan concert dressed in a bikini yeah that’s a red flag, but it’s not inherently an environment where she’ll be tempted to cheat. Clubbing is literally a place that encourages hookups. Endless supply of men who will buy her drinks and take her home. Sure not every woman is gonna cheat in that environment, but why would you put yourself in that situation in the first place?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 06:31 PM

When she does that it’s basically “I’m taken right now but I’m willing to upgrade if I have the chance.”

Yeah going with me is fine, it’s when she wants to have girls night and dress in the bikini that it starts to be a problem. I’ve seen so many relationships end that way or her cheat.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 06:28 PM

They want a guy who can replace them because most guys can't.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 06:33 PM

But why are they these things? Because these are the traits you need for success in business.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 05:15 PM

I would go so far as to as to say they NEED the push and pull to be attracted. A guy who has a lot of options and is attractive doesn’t care where things go, so he’ll give attention to her randomly. A guy with no options will keep giving her attention because he thinks he has to or he’ll lose her to someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 05:14 PM

Yeah there’s a level of toughness to be an entrepreneur. If you can handle a rejection when money is involved and she can see that, it raises your value in her eyes because she knows that you have it together and she also knows that her rejecting you wouldn’t hold much weight which makes her want to be with you more.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 05:13 PM

This is also true.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 05:11 PM

I don’t disagree. But at the same time if you can attract many, more likely you can potentially attract the one
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 05:11 PM

Pretty much
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 05:10 PM

That's true. What I'm saying is the money alone will not keep women around him. He knows how to give the customer what they want and can usually transfer that mindset into his dating life.

Facts. Men are in love, women are in business.

Yeah I have noticed this, men and women act completely different when they're not feeling the relationship anymore. Men will try to figure out how to fix it, women start planning their exit. There are exceptions but this is how it tends to go sadly.

I mean tbh if I knew there’d be someone right there waiting for me at the end of the relationship I’d be pickier too lol

But you’re proving my point exactly. Muscles don’t guarantee you’ll like him but it’s a first step to be considered.

Okay, but the dudes you do find hot on tinder. Are they within that 80% of shredded dudes?

Been there done that, those guys never get picked trust
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 07:33 PM

Oh I agree, there are definitely women who wait. But it's a more common phenomenon for women to jump into something right after than men.

Unfortunately, the traits you described will make it much harder to get a woman until you’re much older, like into your 30’s most likely, because she’s looking for a provider by then. If she’s in her 20’s she just wants the fun party guy because she wants to sow her wild oats.

I think a lot of it has to do with all of these guys who want a long term relationship/marriage just become all the same (most of them are, it’s insane how many guys try to put on the same act to get a woman lol). So the one dude who doesn’t care what comes of it stands out by default.

She was the one who did the breakup but I think we had both basically checked out by the end of it all.

I think this is a generational thing though. Older generations are more loyal and more selective.

But 65% of women are in a relationship within a year of divorce so to an extent my argument still holds.

I feel like it's worse with the wife material ones tbh. You're always in such competition with a million other dudes. I got ghosted by so many of these archetypes when I was still single. My ex very much also fit that model, the dude after me however was complete opposite he was tatted all over, mullet, didn't go to church. They were total polar opposites.

This may be a valid assertion - but it's kind of interesting that this happened twice.

This is probably why women will claim that they always pick the wrong guy, they a lot of times don’t actually stop to actually think about what kind of guy they want or who’s good for them. Case in point, apparently the guy she dated after me already had two kids with two different baby mamas.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 04:17 PM

Yeah pretty much. My ex would constantly get looks from other dudes and there were guys who I could tell were trying to reserve their spot in line if things ever fell through with us. It’s crazy how replaceable guys are these days, even hot ones.

Can you explain more?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 04:03 PM

I looked that up and while correct, a lot of these guys are older. Plus 65% of women are in a relationship within a year of divorce even if they aren't married right away.

What category should this go under then?

I’m not saying you actually build backup options. Don’t do that; that’s scummy when you’re in a relationship. I’m just saying you need to be attractive enough to where you could.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 08:54 PM

I mean they basically are. If she feels like another guy does it for her better (and "it" could be literally anything) it's wraps. Almost all women have backup options. That's why as a guy you have to carry yourself like you have the ability to replace her or she will grow contempt for you and feel like she can do better.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 12:21 PM

First paragraph is how you get options. I think OP is trying to say don't bend your entire identity just so one girl likes you.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 12:00 PM

Don't chase, replace. Instead of trying to stay the man she wants, become the man who could replace her with someone else. Almost every guy in her DM's is trying to be the guy she wants. Very few are or are trying to be the guy who has replacement options.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/26 11:57 AM

You gotta improve yourself to get there

The feeling when she’s with you has to be that you are better at all of those things than any guy she has access to. If that’s not there, you’re screwed.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 05:37 PM

The other thing you have to realize with women is you do have to put on the right act around them. You have to act like you know what you’re doing in life, like you’re strong, and like you have options. If they feel like you aren’t these things it’s impossible for you to make it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 05:10 PM

It depends what being real is. If that means you don’t like watching sports when most other guys do, yeah sure be real and don’t pretend to be into that stuff. If being real means saying racist things in public or bringing up controversial topics at work, then yeah you shouldn’t be real lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 04:58 PM

I’ll say this: the price has gone up, the quality has dropped. On top of that there is so much mental gymnastics needed to actually keep a woman interested long term, she will always deep down wonder what life would be like with some other guy, and the second you mess up she can easily replace you. Most guys want to protect their peace so naturally they just opt out.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 05:53 AM

Depends on the kind of pick me. If she’s still acting like one to everyone else in the relationship, HELL no.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 03:09 AM

Gotcha. So is her saying this/feeling this a sign that she has higher or lower attraction to me? Like what level out of 10 interest does she probably have? You only want to deal with women who have sky high interest

Any advice how to do this? We don’t really go out a ton, and especially not the bar scene

Yes?

Yeah it usually is just a money marriage when the age gap is so huge. No fault divorce has absolutely destroyed western dating, I understand there probably was a reason it came to be but we really need to start making it a fair system. Theres no way a hardworking man should lose custody of his child, house, car and have to pay child support all because his ex-wife fancies another dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/26 02:06 PM

Eh, I’m not so sure I agree with this one. Sleeping together doesn’t necessarily mean she desires you and only you. Some women like to do it literally just for the validation of having slept with someone and they don’t care who it is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
