A question: do you think similarly about him? I've never seen any woman say anything positive about their partner's look unless they're tall so it's weird to see women expect men to feel so highly positively about their partner's looks.

a boyfriend who looks at her and thinks she is the most beautiful in the world. Naive question perhaps, but is that really a common or normal experience? I've never dated but my friends who have think that their girls are cute and pretty but none of them go nearly as far as "most beautiful in the world". Kinda feel like you're setting him up for failure by putting up a massive standard for him to live upto.

Idk, man. Don't let a nice girl because she's not nice-looking. Imo, sort yourself out, stick with her. It's hard to find wonderful women nowadays.

Deleted the first two posts so as to not clog up the page.

And personally? I find the idea of abandoning someone you have a bond with purely because they won’t date you is pretty robotic. Christ, you missed my point. You're in love with someone. You have been informed that they clearly do not feel that way. You seem them regularly, moving on, living their life. You see them date people or hookup with people, your feelings unrequited. You wonder why you weren't enough, why those men were. You find it difficult to move on. So you move away to make it easi…

Thanks for your comment. That said, i disagree with you and you expect a person to be a robot. Once they aren't, they're "fair weather".

Think of the kind of girl you would like and brainwash yourself into thinking she exists, that's it's just a matter of a coincidence until she pops into your life. I don't really have a girl in mind, though. Just someone nice and sweet, Ig. Live your life and find happiness in yourself to the point where you don't mind being without a girlfriend Try as I might. Experience random moment of meeting a girl like the one you thought of, and the wonder in hindsight the sheer coincidence of it all and …

Isn't 3 because it's hard to stay around a person you have feelings for and know that it's unreciprocated, so you get some space? I understand the annoyance with scenario 1 & 2, but 3 is just expecting someone to go against being human.

Have you looked into the concept of demi-sexuality? Yeah. Don't think I'm that, though. I do find women attractive based on how they look. I just don't care about looks in a partner, as I mentioned in the post.

Sometimes you meet people and get a crush. How do you get a crush without knowing someone well enough to be a friend of theirs? On what basis do you crush on them?

I, weirdly enough, don't have many issues interacting with people. I'm just not someone who flirts or hits on someone.

I used "ugly" in the classical sense of the word. I realize connections blur lines but aside from that,.women aren't exactly tripping over each other to hookup with short dudes in parties or off of Tinder. In that sense, generalisation wasn't wrong. But thanks for the comment.
/r/ExRedPill22/06/24 09:47 PM

Okay okay. Sadly, not a social person. But I'll see what I can do. Also, I see everywhere how women hate when male friends catch feelings for them. How does socializing help if it won't work if women aren't looking for partners in the first place?
/r/ExRedPill22/06/24 09:41 PM

Less attractive women are less likely to care about your physical appearance as well. Yeah, Ik that. for you to hit on a woman It feels like such a weird thing to do. I don't think I'm comfortable "hitting on" someone or "flirting". What do I even say? Ik I'm the issue. I've always hoped that I'd find a person at college or at work and she becomes who I'm looking for.

How short aare you, though? If you're 5'7"-8", it really isn't short as much as it is average?

Would you say it's valid for men to feel the same? To feel apathetic about any and every issue women face? Would it be acceptable for any man to not give a shit about women's safety or about rape culture?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 06:00 AM

Any particular reason?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 05:57 AM

Maybe, you're looking at attractive guys only? Nothing wrong with that, just pointing out the possibility. If you do want a "virgin", maybe go for a real short guy or a bigger guy, if you're not opposed to it.

How do I get people/friends to not pry into my (lack of) dating life? Former incel. Didn't do much therapy but had months-long interactions with a psychiatrist in 2021-22. Was diagnosed with bipolar but was asked not to take medication as I have ADD, too. But that aside, I spoke to them about my issues regarding dating, social life, interest, goals, friends yada yada. He helped a fair bit. But over time, I have lost interest in love; maybe, a bit of "incel" has stayed on with me all these years.…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
