I’m nowhere close to being Einstein. But I do know, women are raped more often by men than mauled by bears. So… yeah…

13% of women have experienced sexual assault. 25% have been sexually harassed. You have a 1 in 2 million chance of being harmed by a bear. /done

Everyone here is lying to you. No. Need evidence? Repeat that sentence to anyone actually Left leaning. You’ll learn quickly, you cannot be both. You have every right to be who you are. But you cannot be Left and an MRA / Antifeminist. People here telling you that you can be either aren’t Left, ARE Right or are just straight up lying to you for performance. It’s a performative tolerance, it’s not actual tolerance. You cannot be an MRA and Left. That’s not a thing.

This is sentiment is the biggest Cope of the Red Pull mindset. The idea that women will be unhappy and aimless because men choose to “go their own way” is such a flimsy assumption. Like, as we speak right now. It seems like Women are doing what they want, going their own way… and Men are the ones aimless and lonely. Like every stat points to lonely disenfranchised men… Red Pill has been around a while. MRAs have been around a while. MGTOW has also been around a while. Over and over we see… men g…

The whole “Red Pill” narrative is hysterical to me. It’s just male self help and it’s been around for decades. There’s not a single original thought there. Just the same resentful bullshit toxic men have been saying for quite some time…

It doesn’t matter. It cannot be changed. These lonely men are just going to need to figure it out. Women figured out their shit. These men should do the same.

There’s a study I saw that said this: Women have higher standards than men, however women don’t place a lot of importance on physical attractiveness . Men have lower standards than women, however men place a lot of importance on physical attractiveness. …and broadly, that has been my experience. Also, men just need to grow up. Dating is harder… either evolve or die. I have little sympathy for modern men. To me, they’re just lazy. They’re too insecure, too impatient and too self absorbed to navig…

There’s not a shred of data to support the idea that women, universally, all want men with status. Like, the claim at face value is absurd.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 10:18 PM
4

So, definitions matter. “Undesirable” is a broad term. When it comes to physical aspects (balding, short, chubby, etc.) I’ve seen a fair amount of dudes meet women, get married, have family and be happy. It’s honestly not that uncommon. Only perpetually online people think ugly people don’t ever meet anyone. When it comes to social undesirables, that’s a whole other story. Men who socially awkward or inept tend to do poorly. Poor men don’t do well either. Men with little to no education also don…

Men and Women have the same exact options. Men “lowering their standards” is a self inflicted wound. Because no one is making them do this. They do it becomes they’re desperate and don’t want to actually compete.

Fewer complaints from single lonely men. Also, women will finally have someone to take out the trash consistently. Everyone wins.

I think this is to some degree true. Because of social norms for a long time women were always expected to be “put together”. They was also expected to always be beautiful in some way. Men didn’t have this constraint. Now that things have equaled out more… women don’t need to accommodate those expectations but they likely still have some conditioning. I buy the idea that the average woman is far more attractive than the average man. It makes sense considering traditional social norms.

It seems like the numbers are in doubt judging from some comments. I’ll just say this: even if it was the case. Too bad? Like, if women only like those specific men then that’s how it goes. What’s the solution? Because if everyone is consenting and this is the outcome… there’s nothing to be done. Life goes on… Assuming these numbers are even remotely accurate.

Oh yeah. I don’t doubt it. These dudes are so maladjusted and they just expect the first woman who’s willing to talk to them to be their “training wheels”, while all their misplaced and dysfunction shoots out of them like a fire hose. /r/PurplePillDebate27/08/23 01:43 AM

Well yeah. Of course. It has to be that way. Women absorb the most risk. Also, women do most of the work in a relationship. When this: “38% of women who work full-time and have a partner say they do most of the housework and childcare – just 9% of working men with partners say the same” …is the arrangement. When men can’t even fucking take care of their own kids equally… then a woman has to work very hard and be very demanding in a partner. Women are going to be extraordinarily cautious picking …

The entirety of society, not history. If I said “…the entirety of history”. Then you’d have the appropriate response. I said the “entirety of society”. The definition of society: “the aggregate of people living together in a more or less ordered community.” I think you misunderstood. What I meant essentially was “…social isolation has been a trend for the entirety of the aggregate of people living together in a more or less ordered community.” Or shorter… “social isolation has been a trend in co…

Those are absolutely fantastic points. You have a point. My issue, now. Is “Who decides?” Who decides what is “best for society”? Because I gotta tell ya, I would happily watch it all collapse if people got to be who they are, rather than what they’re expected to be. Because when it comes to the relationships between men and women, historically, it has never been a fair deal. So, I remain skeptical and people should be allowed to make bad decisions. Human beings aren’t efficiency machines. We wi…

If women don’t want to date men. Then what’s the answer? If what you’re saying is true, and I doubt it already. Then how do you solve the so-called “sexless men” issue? Or the large number of single men? How do you solve these problems, without women? Because I assure you, any solution that requires women to do something, will fail. Because things are as they are because women have chosen them to be this way.

Men are social life isolated. But social isolation has been a trend throughout the entirety of society. Men aren’t exceptional in this way. In fact, boys are slightly more socially isolated. Both boys and girls have relatively similar levels of social isolation. Also, as people age, older women experience social isolation more. To quote: “Strikingly, levels of social isolation steadily increase from adolescence through later life for both men and women.” So yeah… again, not unique to men. Also, …

This is Purple Pill Debate. I am here to point out that Red Pill rhetoric is baseless. I’m debating. I’m arguing that, for example, that the “social issue” here is pretty much NOT an issue. It’s purely rhetoric but not factual. You’re saying this social issue is getting in the way of everyone’s pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. But it’s not “everyone”, right? Red Pillers aren’t arguing for everyone they’re arguing for themselves against women. …and women have no part in any of it. Just rat…

I have said “Single Women are happier than Single Men.” and to be clear here, it absolutely has nothing to do with “mental strength”. Women do better because they’re just better at community building than men. They are also better at expressing emotions. Which makes coping with loneliness and isolation a whole lot easier. Both men and women feel alone. Women are just better socialized to deal with those challenges. Men are just bad at building friendships and expressing themselves. They have the…

I have a different perspective here. But the “well functioning” of society isn’t the responsibility of men or women. Sure, in a more abstract way, we are ALL responsible for society. But individually, no one should give a shit how their behaviour affects society. No human being thinks in aggregate. If we did, Climate Change would have been solved ages ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 09:01 PM

The thing is, for women, the discussion is done. They’re free. They do as they please how they please. They’re living their best lives. For all the men clamouring for a conversation, well they’re going to have it with other men, mostly. Because woman are where they want to be. Let me use a common topic: sex. Sex takes two. If a man isn’t having any sex, then that’s that. Because there’s no “solve” for that problem. Men will either have to try to get a woman’s attention or pay a prostitute. But h…

I mean, in the broad scheme of things… none of the reasoning matters. The basic truth is: men aren’t owed sex or relationships. They need to earn it and women are allowed to be as picky as they want. Because that’s how freedom works. Women get to choose based on whatever criteria they want. …and as long as that is the case, no amount of rationalization, conversation or Red Pill rhetoric is going to undo women’s emancipation and the impact of Feminism and The Pill. Men are going to have to just f…

It’s actually more than that. No one ever talks about it because most people in Red Pill communities don’t empathize with women. But things like emotion labor and domestic responsibilities are one sided in the vast majority of relationships. Women end up doing the vast majority of the work. This is why women are picky. Because when they compromise it’s just more labor overall. It’s more than sex. It’s intimacy, and also day to day chores and tasks. That’s a another reason why women aren’t as wil…

There is absolutely a conversation about the change to public spaces and about the commodification of spaces. Where more and more social spaces and activities require money and that’s definitely messed up and not helping. I do think also, social media in general is hurting people. Men and women.

That’s irrelevant. If men didn’t need women, Red Pill and manosphere pundits, podcasters and personalities wouldn’t be so focused on the topic of women. If they don’t need women, they sure as hell talk a LOT about women. I don’t know about you… but I rarely talk about things I don’t need. Incel is involuntary celibate. It is, a group of men who are unable to find women to either have sex with or build relationships with. The “why” they are incels is open to debate. So I’m not exactly going to try to guess why incels are involuntarily celibate. As for why they get criticism. It’s because their communities tend to have a lot of extremely divisive / violent language surrounding the topic of women. Then you the terrorist incidents where incel fundamentalists murdered innocent people,…

Conservative Cultures view promiscuity differently than non-Conservative cultures. An example… Another example… …and overall, men are more conservative than women. So yeah, men are conservative and conservatives tend to view promiscuity negatively and since Conservatism is about “conserving traditional values”, it means they’re conserving what they have been taught. And since they see promiscuity negatively, then it means they want to preserve that conditioned, traditional response. (Hence being…

First things first, the culture around “virgin shaming” has changed. It’s still got some ways to go, but it’s better than it was. As for shaming incels. Incels are shamed because they’re violent misogynists, not victims of happenstance.

Men don’t like when women have power over their bodies. That’s why slut shaming was / is a thing. It assumes that the only thing of value is a woman’s chastity. It frames a woman as a sexual object to be won or earned. Men have been conditioned to not want this, when in truth it is their literal preference.

I would say “no”, because the attraction is subjective. Women like a lot of different things (well duh!) so it really depends. What fashion really puts out there is “status” but even that can be touch and go. I’ve met women who like clean shaven, nice haircut and a suit. I’ve also met women who like jeans, plaid shirt and a beard. The sort of “Blue Collar” look. There’s some “norms” culturally around this, so maybe a suit or some name brand clothes might work because we live in a consumer cultur…

The conversation is about sex. The Red Pill’s argument is essentially: “men used to have easy access to sex, now we don’t and Feminism and women’s emancipation has lead women to have double standards.” That’s the argument. What they fail to realize is sex in the past was coercive. Which means, now, sex has to be “earned” by some other non coercive means and men have been conditioned to resent women who control their own bodies. That’s what it’s all about and that’s why the Red Pill fails. Becaus…

Basic truth: women are more comfortable being single than men. So, if it is the case that women are more comfortable being single. Then the whole “we’ll do to them what they’re doing to us” rhetoric falls flat. Because what this says, is that women have the patience and fortitude to “hold out” for better. Which means, men would not only have to match women’s resilience to being single but then surpass it. Maybe that can happen but it would require a massive shift in consciousness for men. It wou…

Man are maladjusted. Men need a social revolution the same way women experienced one with Feminism. Because the cat is out of the bag. Women are never going back to “needing” men. Those days are long gone. Women are free to earn, date, have sex and live all on their own terms. Which means men need to figure out what life without women means. Because if our happiness is contingent on the presence of women, then we need to align with their preferences. Because it is clear, they will never align wi…

Simple is simple. Older women have high standards because they’re more comfortable being single than men are. So as long as the single life is more comfortable for women than men, men will always be on the “losing” side of the equation. They don’t lower their standards because they don’t need to. They likely have a fair amount of suitors already and so, changing their preferences would make no sense. This is because many men, believe they can meet these “higher” standards. Men get shamed for dat…

I think it doesn’t matter. If these things are critical to men, and require the “buy in” of women… then men need to either “play the game” or be alone. There’s no compromise here because the entire thing requires another person. A person who is free and has agency. This is why the whole Red Pill “debate” is empty. Because regardless of whatever conclusions men come up with, regardless of whatever “truths” they unearth. Women are free. Which means even if every single thing Red Pillers believed w…

Men have never been manipulated. Men have been conditioned by society to value certain things. However, times have changed and men have not. Women no longer need men as providers. They now need men as partners. Men, want the old relationship structure back because it provided them the most power. Those days are gone. Either men need to up their game or be left behind. Blue Pill isn’t a thing. The Blue Pill is the Strawman that Red Pillers create to frame non-reactionaries as “unreasonable”. It’s all rhetoric and propaganda. This is peak Red Pill… The reason why Men shouldn’t focus on Women, Sex and Dating is this: It takes two. Men either, need to meet them on their terms or accept that those things you listed are out of reach. Men being lonely is largely a myth. Everyone is lonely.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 07:41 AM

To me, it’s self evident. In the American context it makes perfect sense why men are unheard. Because too much of history is a story of how white men hurt everyone else. Women and African Americans were property of White Men for quite some time. Eventually Women and African Americans both earned their freedom. But the history is still there. Equality has been mostly achieved. But equity, justice over time by the repaying of debts, has not. It’s not enough to have freedom. But the wounds need to …

Factually incorrect. Women complete degrees more often than men. Women are also, slowly, beginning to out-earn men too. I’ll take a swing here. Because it’s pretty straightforward as to why they aren’t the same. Gold Digging is the idea that a woman pursues a man for the explicit purpose of extracting wealth from him. This is, a purely voluntary process. Men choose who they date. They have agency in that exchange. A man simply doesn’t get exploited without some level of consent. So, for example. If she has sex with him after a nice dinner. He provided the dinner, she provides the sex. All consensual. Gold Digging…
