Hi OP, Please read the handbook in its entirety. This scenario goes against FDS principles on a couple of levels. No. 1 NEVER ASK A MAN OUT. Not on a date, not for a relationship. Even with your scenario, this would make him 'responsible' for paying for the date. And yes, if he does not pay, or asks to go 50/50, you do what you must to get out of there, block and delete. edit: formatting edit 2: dating is not the same thing as going out with your cousin or a friend. These are established relatio…

this should be the top comment. Fully agree. There were quite a few red flags. I guess it happened slowly and she was in such a traumatized state but eventually you have to see that no man (most men), really cares about helping women recover from trauma. It's about what's in it for them.

I'm dead. These are way too accurate. the Bore and the 'sportsing' one killed me. like, I enjoy the outdoors too, but it's not my entire personality, and no, I don't want to go on an adventure hike for a first date. 🙄

good on you, OP! There are a lot of solid posts on here about how to not/why we shouldn't keep LV friendships with LVW. I feel so sorry for her because she's headed for a doomed relationship. literally SO many red flags in her life... she as a person just seems to be such a pickme... and also entitled... glad you're out of it!

but, but maybe he doesn't understand how important it is to you. he's just gotten OH SO comfortable in your relationship and doesn't think you need those types of things to know he loves you.... s/// like, bih, I don't NEEED anything. a valentines day card, chocolate or presents, but the standard has been set, I have fairytale dreams, and you're here.... sooo I'll be waiting for my delivery tyvm. lol my boyfriends job is on-site type, so he has gifts delivered if he can't make a holiday on the d…

ugh, one of my girlfriends told me she had covid and was sad because she had awesome reservations. I asked her if she made them or her bf, and her response was, "I tend to make special occasion plans because I'm so obsessed with holidays 😂😂" ... like, if you're so obsessed with the holidays and your bf knows that, he should be making an effort BECAUSE your obsessed with the holidays. They've veen together a year + My boyfriend grew up in a country where xmas isn't as commercial and christianity …

Agree with everything. Jasmine is surely a conundru but I felt so led on by the editing because it did make Gino seem like the 'reasonable one' for the longest time. They simply don't show Jasmine's side enough. I feel it's hard to tell about his expressions because these shoes are so hyper produced. what I did love was jasmines retort about if she was a sugar baby, she would be looking for a man with ACTUALLY sugar, not a Splenda daddy.

The comments on this are disgusting. Men admitting that they've paid for sex (with their real names) because they don't have social skills, or have kinks they can't share... like, right, you don't get to share these things. Go to therapy and learn to compete. some scrote tried to write an essay about how men are animals with a physiological need for sex... like ok, great. So you'll fight for the V like a Polar bear or else die a virgin? or right, no, they pay for sex instead.

ugh I've had this conversation on reddit and hate words. I'm looking for a LT parter, but enjoy causal dating... casual dating for me meaning activity-ing or getting to know someone who is still required to put in effort, and NEVER casual sex. And we still have to have something in common. Pre-covid, I lived abroad and would travel for longer terms and it was nice to spend time with good men for a few meets or even just one. But no, I'm not giving gf or wife energy to shit men or men I'm not in …

But he had to be a quality man. Sure, you can learn lessons about what NOT to look for if you father is a bad husband or father, but just because there is a man in the picture doesn't mean he is a good example or capable of educating in a positive way. And unfortunately too many mothers have their own traumas and aren't able to show their daughters how to pick a good man because they couldn't either

Ugh, I needed this today. Guy I'm currently dating said benefits don't matter to him and he loves what he does (we were talking about how my job has some sweet perks (weekly lunch, social outtings, etc). Scared the shit out of me until I realised I forgot how I had previously defined benefits 😅. PTO, PAT&MAT leave, 401, insurance, all important for him. I scare myself sometimes

What the effing eff. There's just so much to see here! Alright ladies, 3 points for every fds red-flag you can find! I'll start: His face His beard His weight His age (seeking 18-26?!) His 'Job' at his age? Yall think he's getting an MBA or Ph.D? His impression of women's proportions? -5'7 with size 7 shoe? -5'4, 125, size 16??? What did I miss? So much cringe!

Has anyone ever seen this? This goes so far beyond just race, I'm just outraged! Steve Harvey has been a pariah and preaching trash since forever, but this series is absolutely disgusting. It's 10pts of just gaslighting black women instead of just telling them.... Stop dating shitty men, period... you, like other women, may be alone forever because HVM are at a minimum. I'm sure there are plenty of reasons why it's difficult to date in our race but yeah, this type of bs mindset would DEEFFFFFINI…

If he put HALF the amount of energy into his relationship with ya know... THE WOMAN HE'S MARRIED TO as he does with the star of his f*vk film, he would "fall in love" with her again. Men are exhausting. So illogical!

"Date and see where it goes"... also just fuck you. THIS is HOW dating works. If YOU have to say this or they have to ask this, jump.

That and "meet and see where it goes".... like DUH! But the fact that that's their response means "I'm not ready, so let's fuck, and ill decide if I want to keep you around for more fucking 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Remember ladies, if a man is serious he'll say so. Let him say, I'm looking for a wife lol

But this is super important! Because they know. Too many people give men outs for whatever reason, thinking, "he will change". Women need to stop thinking that men are stupid when it comes to relationships and how they treat women. So glad you made it out of there.

This was triggering. I have been here soooo many times. The need to make sure they understand... because 'the only reason they're acting like this is because they must not understand. I'm not being clear'. (because no rational person would mistreat someone after they told them how it made them feel... right? RiGhT? lol NOPE. I realised some time ago, that it's them doing this on purpose. We need to give men more credit in the responsibility department... they know exactly what they're doing.

Thank you for this! Always wonderful to get that confirmation. On my way up to 100%. Legit I know the universe has it all waiting for me once I reach. But damn if it isn't hard to have that self control! And: "As long as you have a beautiful inside spirit and you have good hygiene" killed me.

Why not investigate why, in most other species, males have to compete for the attention of females but not in humanity where men consolidated the resources/earn ability and convinced women to compete for them? Also, I doubt everything revolved around hunting. literally, this sentence makes me want to become a middle school/ high school bio teacher and really impress upon the girls this fact. I will have to start with my own kids one day lol
