I was the last of my friends to get boobs. I’m talking late teens. It’s so creepy, because I remember being hit on/catcalled/ogled long before that, when I looked like a child.

Honey you really delivered that dose of reality. And I am so proud of you for doing that work, because too many people must’ve put up with his shit by now.

I like this idea. It reminds me of when I read that, in order to get over an ex partner, we ourselves can become for us who they were. Like if you wanted a partner who was into fitness, you could be that fit partner and bring that energy into your own life. Or instead of chasing rich men, you could build a career of your own. I love it.

I dated a guy who was like that, too. 3 years. And I still feel so guilty because around the 2 year mark I emotionally cheated on him. I was so starved of affection at that point and didn’t even realize it.

Oh man, definitely been in that situation. I nearly crawled out of my skin when my ex told me he didn’t like PDA. Like really? Super tame kissing while taking photos together, you don’t like that? Ugh. Yeah be proud of me, don’t take me to show off and then never touch me.

Wow I wish I had that level of comfort. I think my touch deprivation through childhood conditioned me to be extremely uncomfortable giving hugs and touching my friends of the same sex. Like if I were to be really touchy with my close friends, I would have an internal panic that they thought I was lesbian or being sexual. I wish I knew how to be comfortable with it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
