As a woman, I let go of all male platonic friends. That does not mean I cannot be friendly and have great conversations with male colleagues and people I meet out and about. This is because I wish to find a serious life partner, a husband. The concept of a platonic opposite sex friend is paradoxical.. Men want to mate, so do women. I have always become attracted to male friends and definitely vice versa. This is just a fact of life. I keep that term friend more serious and dont call any male a f…

Women who stay fit and radiate inner beauty by positive outlook on life get hit on at looked at at any age. If you are overweight and carry yourself ugly, the wall can be any age. Its a state of mind, not a number

So you havent moved past beta as you say you did. I dont know any straight woman that is attracted to a man with plastic surgery!!! I encourage you to use that money to seek counseling and do the proper inner healing it takes to be an attractive partner. That is more atrractive and useful than any outer feature. Beauty fades, flesh is transient. The soul matters. Plastic surgery will fix your flesh but not your under developed self worth.

Beauty comes from the inside. This is true for men too. Groom yourself well, drink a lot of water, work out, sleep well, eat well, dont slouch, stand straight, wear clothes that fit you, brush your teeth twice a day, smile, clean your ears, nails, be assertive, do things you love. All of this is attractive and has nothing to do with the face. All of this excudes confidence and attractiveness, ugly face or not. You are worthy. I am a woman FYI.

Grooming is very important. I am a woman FYI. Groom yourself well, brush your teeth 2x a day, floss, smile, wear clothes that actually fit you and are clean, no holes in clothing, work out and drink a lot of water for better skin, stand straight; all of those things make a man WAY more attractive and have nothing to do with your face. Bad postured, badly groomed, bad smelling, ugly breath, pimply man doesn't look good on anyone, hot face or not.

Without reading anything but the question: NO. He does not want you. Move on. If he does, he will meet you. Move on down the road to destiny.

I can attest to the joy of socializing through martial arts! 29F here, I moved to a small town and needed to socialize. MMA and BJJ is an awesome way to be fit, have discipline and be a part of a team. Way better than a regular gym. IMO

You are young. Work on yourself ASAP and forever. That is, get therapy, heal mentally. Get in shape, stay in shape. Eat healthy, drink lots of water. Groom yourself well. Get your money up. Do hobbies. Ask advice from mentors, preferably straight married men, in healthy, loving marriages. Stick with it. Be there for yourself. I hope you find who you are looking for. I wish you well.

I prefer "sex hair" for the bedroom with my would-be husband. Not for the streets. I wore "sex hair" for 12+ years so I am doing something new by actually combing my hair and keeping it smooth. Fertility and sex, got it. I am not being fancy at all, no barrettes or crazy colors or anthing. I do my hair simple and presentable. Presentable + flattering + confidence, got it. Youthful hairstyles = I sometimes wear pigtails or french braids when I train in BJJ and always wear short skirts over my leg…

Just do something. If you mix it up and dont get stuck on one do, you wont get as much damage from repeating the same damage over and over. Find what you like, and the confidence is what sells it. Got it confidence is key, thanks :) I do mix it up, every day or every two days.

If no kids and no husband, have you thought about retirement? Who is going to take care of you in your old age 65-70+ and how are you going to provide for yourself when you are beyond working years? Congratulations on your self love journey.

Your life experience is totally valid, but self-hate won't inspire anyone to save you. Only you can care about you more than any human on earth and that is the blunt truth. I reccomend martial arts to channel your strength, energy and anger. Pursue hobbies you enjoy just for the sake of enjoying it. BJJ and muay Thai is a life saver for many, as it is for me. At least it is a good start to a self defense, self-discipline a and fit path. The key is to convert your negative self perceived aspects …

I really enjoyed this article. The section about "Bewitching Langour" had me in chuckles. I have never heard that expressed in words before. I will continue to intentionally practice my "cat relaxing by the fireplace" at my mma gym.

I highly suggest therapy and counseling now while you are young. Stick with it. Just a few sessions are not enough. Your parents did the best that they could but you have deformed wings from them not letting you leave the proverbial nest. Stay focused on creating your own income, separating from your parents and healing from your childhood trauma. Work on this now so you can be a great wife to a husband if you want to be married one day. Do all of this now, don't wait. Do not be afraid of mascul…

I do MMA/BJJ and I always wear skorts. It is an active close contact sport, and I am the only woman at the gym that wears them over my leggings. I find wearing plain leggings showing entire butt outline and pelvis is unladylike and I feel more like a lady around the guys when I wear them. I Yes you can squat, jump, stretch, do all the workouts you want with skirt skorts. I highly recommend them for conservative ladies. They are very cute and I gather to say make you stand out at the gym.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
