The video proves that if you walk around a very busy city for a long period of time you will get unwanted attention. I can't believe they are trying to suggest this stuff doesn't happen to men as well all the time, normally with men it takes the form of confrontation and attempts at intimidation.

But rape is different from all other crimes you see. Obviously I don't have to explain why to you.

They're male feminists, the worst kind of person.

That entire 'more news column' to the right is pure misandry, it just shows how little society cares about men. Apparently there's a debate on domestic violence being handled in a gender neutral way, apparently only domestic violence against women matters. How can people see this and not see how sexist it is?

I was told by multiple people on another thread in another sub that the destinction is fair because "women are never combatants" which is both untrue and shows that its very easy to lie about innocent men being combatants. This lie keeps the stats for civilian deaths far below the reality as many governments count men of a certain age as combatants on the basis of them being men. Counting the number of women dead instead of adult civilians allows this to perpetuate.

Well his line of reasoning is retarded in that the statement referred to all war therefore including men who don't fall into this scenario like men who are conscripted. You can be a member of the armed service and not agree with the war you died fighting in. Hell even if you do and you have just reason are you not a victim for being put in a situation where you had to fight? If someone attacks you and you choose to defend yourself are you not a victim of that attack? Of course you are. Very few …

Man, fuck this forum. Fuck all of you pathetic little fucking eunuchs. This is what it looks like when someone is wrong but won't accept it.

Its moronic, her statement referred to all wars not specific ones. Furthermore what on earth is a voluntary war? Think many of the soldiers in Afghanistan want to be there? Being part of the army does not mean you support every war your country fights. You can't decide not to fight if you disagree with the war either.

Male feminists always claim men are holding back a desire to rape everything, the reality is its just them.

See here is where feminists would trot out the "whats best for the child" argument. They will only be against support for victims/supposed victims when men are the victims.

You implied that she was the ridiculous sort of feminist you might find on tumblr. I mixed you up with the twat who actually had a go at her, so I was wrong to claim you made personal attacks at her. You made plenty of baseless attacks at me though which you would know were untrue if you had skimmed my comment history (which I would suggest you do before you decide you know who someone is). I was defending her because she hadn't done anything wrong, had expressed sympathy for men's issues and th…

I'm going to ignore your rant because its all ridiculous conjecture assigning a lot of shit to someone you know bugger all about. If you think mens rights will get any traction without support from people who aren't completely on board with everything then you're delusional. How about instead of telling her off for not agreeing with you you try and explain why her views are wrong. I doubt she agrees with everything but you aren't going to convince her or anyone else who sees it by having a go at…

what are you even talking about? The girl was sympathetic to men's rights and he had a go at her for no good reason. People don't like assholes, surprisingly if you act like one you'll drive them away.

Thats a little overdramatic. I'm a guy and i'm not a feminist if you're inplying that. I didn't mischaracterize you, you did as good as said that and it helps no one. You bitched at someone on the internet and made us look bad doing so.

You wrote more here than in your original post... You told someone sympathetic to fuck off based of off ridiculous assumptions. You do realize the MRM needs support to get anthing done right? If you've got nothing but hatred for anyone sympathetic you'll drive people away. You didn't make any points you told some lies about someone you've never met and now you're responding like a child with nothing to actually say.

Wow thats such a welcoming attitude isn't it, really shows how accepting the MRM is.

Raise awareness on stuff people can't put associate with one party or another. Don't talk about affirmative action for example because then we'll get labelled as Republican associates. Talk abiut stuff like higher sentences for the same crimes, no one can argue thats a good thing without showing themselves as misandrists.

If you think feminism is anything but harmful to men then you're an idiot.

Well that's disruptive. I support the cause but father's 4 justice's stunts only generate bad publicity.

Can you explain what actually happened, I don't understand from the title and the pictures.
/r/MensRights15/06/14 03:05 PM

Men who describe themselves as feminist are easily some of the most self righteous people out there, they think calling yourself evil and talking about how horrible men are is somehow less stupid when you're male.
/r/MensRights13/06/14 03:22 PM
2

Are people really stupid enough to believe it? I mean the only people who might not know this is false are people who know nothing about it to begin with in which case he'll just look stupid if they then find out he was lying.

They will effect men less if the laws are changed. People are still pretty racist but they can't stop black people voting anymore.
/r/MensRights03/06/14 07:44 PM
4

Well you can protest racism and remove it from the law at the same time you know? Changing society takes a long time and we don't know if it will ever happen. The law is so open to sexism against men that it would be ridiculous not to try and change it when it only effects men.
/r/MensRights03/06/14 06:57 PM

Because of the nature of society laws surrounding rape prosecution will effect men much more than women. Whilst these laws are not sexist in themselves they will be applied in a sexist way. There is a precedent for changing laws to accommodate the fact that they are used against certain demographics more than others. You can't restrict voting in states easily anymore because the laws were used to suppress the non-white vote. I'm sure there are other examples.
/r/MensRights03/06/14 06:51 PM

With this sort of cherry picking you could paint anything as evil. Why do people insist on doing this? Don't they think the fact that they have to tell complete lies about the MRM shows their claims are unjustified and untrue? Either the author doesn't know what he is talking about or he is intentionally lying.

I said it was unfair that women in large groups got targeted less than men in large groups. I also said that targeting men in large groups wasn't sexist, it was not targeting women in large groups as well that was sexist as I believe both can be rowdy though it ultimately varies group by group.

I know full well what a straw man is, its mis-representing someone else's argument to make yours seem stronger. I'm not setting up safer ground, I'm not trying to have some argument with the idea that men experience sexism I fully agree with that. The only point I was trying to make was that it isn't sexist to bar large groups of Men which is what the title argues.

I never claimed they weren't, I didn't intend to at least. I claimed that barring large groups of people was not a form of discrimination in itself which I still say is true. The title alleges it is and that's what I disagree with.

I specifically said it was bad, I said not allowing large groups into clubs and bars if the business doesn't want to was fine. I said sexism was found in it only being used on men as opposed to just large groups. In no way did I endorse misandry and the suggestion is ludicrous.
/r/MensRights22/05/14 07:09 PM

If you read my post I said sexism was found in only groups of men being barred, that was my whole point. There is nothing wrong with stopping large groups of people going into a bar/club. They do get loud, obnoxious and cause trouble. I wasn't saying only male groups got like that, if you read what I wrote you would have realized that. My only issue is that the title suggests barring large groups of men is in itself sexist, it isn't. Barring large groups of men only is sexist, which is very diff…

I acknowledged that there was sexism against men in my post with the statement you claim invalidates my argument? Did you read it completely or did you just assume you knew where I was going? What point did you think I was trying to make?
/r/MensRights22/05/14 06:36 PM

That is different, my understanding is that they reject large groups of men because they are regularly harassing other customers and causing trouble, at least enough for it to become routine to bar large groups. They aren't being targeted for being male but for being a large group of men who tend to cause trouble. Stopping people from coming in purely on the basis of gender or race is different from stopping people from coming in for being trouble. In my experience large groups of men do get lou…

Bars and club have a right to regulate who goes in and who doesn't, its fair for them to deny people entry for all but a few reasons.

They're desperately trying to "find the other side of the story", in other words doing this to a man is fine with them they just can't admit it.

The basic jist of this article was "I chose to do things I didn't actually want to do because I can't stand up for myself and that is the world's fault not mine".
