Firstly, statistically speaking most single mothers are the type of person to destroy their family in pursuit of their happiness, so right there it's not a great choice. Secondly, you're going to be expected to invest time, money, energy, and emotion into a child that could be taken away from you at any moment (see point 1)

I think it's acceptable to hate what feminism has done to women and the family, but when interacting with them try to see and treat them as individuals. Respect the ones that deserve to be, and avoid the ones that don't. No different with any demographic.

If men stopped dating single mothers, women would be less likely to destroy their families in the first place.

It's not about gender, it's about trust, and me trusting someone has nothing to do with their gender.

Ever have someone verbally attack you and when you respond they hit you with "don't get defensive" ? It's kinda like that. You should have a problem with feminism, it hasn't been about equal rights in fifty years. 4th stage feminism is about victim mentality and toxic masculinity.

I know the uglification of female protagonists has already backfired. Turns out when people want fantasy and escapism, not even women want to role play as an uggo.

I mean at least get someone with a dog in the fight. Pearl might be on our side, but she wins either way.

As a man I have two main problems with this 1) The kid is missing out on their dad 2) The dad WILL be liable for child support as soon as the mom asks for it. Maybe she's ok financially and on good terms with you now, but that doesn't mean much.

I bought a "fancy" Henson Shaving safety razor back when this happened and it has already paid for itself multiple times over. Better shave too. Fuck Gillette's overpriced woke trash.

Getting married is like playing Russian roulette but five chambers have bullets instead of just one. Maybe you'll be lucky, good chance you won't. Not only that, the longer it takes for your marriage to fail, the worse the consequences. You're literally punished for trying to make it work. You'll lose half immediately, and the other half paid out over 20 years of alimony.

I mean your wife would get half your wealth now and the other half paid out in alimony over the next 20 years. It's obviously a huge win for her if she leaves. Sorry you're going through this man, but you need to start looking out for number one ASAP.

There are many reason behind male suicide so there's probably no blanket solution. That said men are providers. They need to feel useful. They need to feel like someone depends on them. There probably needs to be a systemic approach to this, but people can take things into their own hands too. If you have a friend that seems to be coasting, or unproductive, or is withdrawing (it's not easy to tell because men hide their emotions) call him up and get him to help you with something. Anything, yard…

I agree, and I don't even think women have empathy for other women. I think it's completely fake. Women will support other women that are on their level. As soon as their jealously kicks in they will tear them back down. The only things I've seen them have actual empathy for is children and animals.

Men made life so comfortable women forgot they need men. Unfortunately the only way to end the war is a serious reduction in quality of life.

Because boys are seen as dysfunctional girls. At least in the past. Now days it seems like there's an active campaign against them.

Sad truth in a democracy if people think you're guilty, you're guilty. And it's not even a big deal because men are still seen as disposable.

Feminists don't need no man... until the power goes out, or there's a fire, or their trash needs collecting, or their country defended, or their pickle jar opened, etc etc etc and so on and so forth...

Yep, marriage failed before kids, now in my 40s that ship has sailed. And with the cost of living crisis, and everything else parents have to deal with these days, I'm actually glad it worked out that way.

IDK, just talking to someone about stuff can be helpful. Couples counselling? Yeah, completely useless, never let a woman talk you into that.
/r/MensRights09/08/25 02:11 AM

Even if you were completely optimistic and didn't consider any of the many negative consequences, why would a man choose to enter into a legal contract with a woman? Modern feminist women don't bring anything to the table except sex and they give that away for free. Oh you have a career? Men don't care about your career, Janet.

4th wave feminism is what's actually toxic, so of course they find masculinity oppressive. Men have created such a sophisticated society of luxury and comfort that feminists actually think they don't need men anymore. Fine, go mine your own minerals, and build your own roads and bridges, bitch. Go get enlisted, put out fires, and collect your own garbage. How's that for some toxic masculinity lol

Depends where you live. Some places let you keep assets accrued from before the marriage. Some places honor pre-nups. But even those aren't safe if alimony is involved, where you can end up losing half then paying the other half and more through alimony. But seriously, if you're worried losing money, marriage is not for you.

The number of stories you hear about a guy needing to liquidate their means to earn an income as part of the divorce settlement is insane. Women will gladly hurt everyone involved including themselves, just to spite the man.

"faces jail" yawn. Wake me up when she's behind bars. This was the bish that had the medical emergency last year too. Calls into question the authenticity of that story too. Sounds like she's an attention whore.

Don't even call yourself half feminist. Feminism should've died when they got the right to vote and work. Feminism right now means men are the oppressor and women are the oppressed. It's victim mentality. Feminists don't want EQUALITY aka accountability, they want to blame men.

Men don't care their wife is cheating because they're also cheating. If they suspect they're getting duped into fatherhood they can always request a judge orders a paternity test. Should tests be automatic? yes. Should they be automatic in France? no.

Yeah, when I was a kid and someone explained that feminists believe women should have equal rights, of course I was a feminist. What they didn't tell me is that was accomplished in the first wave over sixty years ago. We're now in the 4th/5th wave and it's been destroying society since the 2nd. (the 2nd was when women were told being a housewife was oppressive and demeaning, and they need to have a career like men)

Toxic masculinity refers to the toxic standards and ideals that society (mainly feminists) hold men to, and yes it exists. For example telling men to "man up" when struggling with anything is toxic. Or assuming all men are predators is toxic.

It's even beyond monkey branching or having backups, modern women have rosters. Different guys for different occasions. It's because the guy with everything they want doesn't exist.

I don't think he's compromising, I don't think he sees you as an equal, and I don't think he knows what traditional means. In a traditional relationship the housewife would be entitled to half of everything earned after the marriage in return for giving up her career and raising the children. Him expecting you to give up your income while not giving you access to his is insane actually. Big red flag.

There's one side of it where men are no longer valued. They aren't the bread winners and they aren't stoic and masculine because that's "toxic", combined with the social media affect of women all going for the top 5%. The other side of it is men have woken up to the fact that there are absolutely no pros to getting married, there are only cons, and life ruining ones at that. Even if they find a "trad wife", they still put the kids in daycare, order food, and have a maid.

So men still being, or recently indoctrinated by the school system. What about men 30-45 ? 5 in 6, no doubt

There's a dozen reasons a woman doesn't respect a man and earning less than them is pretty high on the list. Also being a push-over. You might as well give her an ultimatum at this point because she will 100% leave you as soon as a better option shows up. Women have really painted themselves into a corner imo. They have a primal attraction to men being a provider and bread winner, but have gotten themselves into high earning careers where the number of men earning more than them is few and far b…
