The bar for men has always been low. A man drives a car he likes and he is insecure. A woman buys a pair of yoga pants a size too small with a back center seam designed to make their butt cheeks pop while also having a section that rolls up over their abdomen to act as a corset and you suggest they might be compensating and everyone says, "No you're crazy."

Not what you asked but I always thought a funny short would be a court room and a man being questioned about raping a woman and he says she consented and they say, how did she consent and he responds, She took my penis and placed it inside of her vagina. But she didn't verbally say it was ok? Well, not exactly. I rest my case!

There's a flip side to this too. A lot of people don't want to deal with women / a woman because of the headache and often times tell the man to do better. It happens at jobs and school a a lot. I'm talking about the women who turn everything into an angle. Saying they don't feel safe when they do, accusing someone asking them to work of bullying them or singling them out, accusing people of sexual harassment, etc. A lot of people, especially women, can spot those women and steer clear or tell s…

Something that society does is - Men are pressured by society to behave in specific ways. There's clearly pressure out there by society - it's a fact - we all see it. Don't show emotion, take everything is stride including being screwed over, be stoic, don't drive a car you like unless you want to hear about your small penis, etc. But when men react due to that pressure - they are seen as / represented as weak "little pee pee" pathetic people. Society pressures women and when women react to that…

A guy I knew married a woman and had a kid with her. She stole his identity and racked up credit card debt. He asked he to stop. she told him, "Get out of my ass,". His mom died and left him 30k. She used it buy a plot of land without his name on it and the rest of the money vanished. They divorced and had 50/50 custody. However, she was awarded child support. In my state, the lesser the mother makes the more child support she gets. So she got a lesser paying job just before court. Why he was pa…

It's a common tactic. Women do what they want but say they do it because men expect it. But men don't expect it's just women getting to have their cake and eat it to.

I've said this forever. Women are strategic in every aspect of their look. The literally make yoga pants with a back center inseam designed to make the butt cheeks pop nd women buy those for that reason. They also roll half way up the abdomen to act as a corset and then put on a top 1/3 he normal length of the top. Everything is skin tight. Then they put on 10 lbs of makeup. They say say - "Men expect it!!!!" as an excuse to do what they want to do because they don't feel like they measure up. B…

Women are extremely nit picky too. You can unintentionally do one thing one time and a lot will write you off forever. I am short for a grown man - 5'4. I've dated women where I checked 99 out of 100 things off their list of wants. The 100th obviously being tall. That one box made the other 99 not count. Or they would meet a tall guy and that ne box was enough. I dated one woman who would get mad at herself for not being able to get over it. She'd outwardly get mad, "It's not fair you're perfect…

It's more than that. Other women and tv and movies condition them to genuinely believe it's something it isn't.

I said porn doesn't set unrealistic expectations as often as people claim and that mainstream media is more responsible for that. From what I’ve seen, porn doesn’t mess with men’s expectations—it often makes women feel inadequate. Some feel they can’t measure up in terms of appearance or skill, which leads to resentment and the claim that "men expect too much." But that’s rarely the case.

Again, you're having a different discussion than what this post is about. The post is about how mainstream media is more at fault, yet takes no blame. And how a lot of people saying porn sets unrealistic expectations are women who just feel inadequate. Women see or hear about porn and feel like they can't measure up. When at the end of the day, no one expects them to. Meanwhile, women have all of these unrealistic expectations on sex and relationship fom mainstream media.

My post isn't about porn addiction. My post is about how one thing is more at fault than the other and at the same time how mainstream media takes none of the blame. And also how a big reason people say porn sets unrealistic expectations is because it make women feel inadequate. You have to think about how much more accessible mainstream media is and has been than porn. What I mean by accessible is - mainstream media is just out there. Porn you have to actively search for.

Again, my post isn't about addiction. It is about unrealistic expectations. You're discussing another topic.

That's not really what the post is about though. My post is about unrealistic expectations and how movies and tv are more at fault than porn. Mostly because they are more accessible and more widely seen.

My post isn't about addiction and makes no mention of it. Therefore, there is no claim of me "knowing how addiction works".

Something i worry about in regard to marriage is something I don't think a lot of people think or talk about. I've been a man a long time. I have certain "hang ups" based on what I've seen. I'm worried if I do get into a serious relationship and do get married, will my preferences put a strain on the relationship. For instance, I don't think I could ever put her name on my house or other major property. And I am worried that will breed resentment by showing a lack of trust. But at the same time …
