I am so very sorry. Cannot even begin to imagine your pain. Keeping you in my thoughts. 💙

I feel you. It sounds like you might have tied your sense of worth to the guy. Reading books that teach women how to be strong and independent helps, also books that teach you to let go (e.g. Melody Beattie). There’re some anonymous codependent clubs, by the way, although I haven’t been part of them. But even just making steps in the direction of becoming more independent and embracing the discomfort will make a tremendous difference. And widening your circle communication will give you the safe…

I don’t necessarily agree that commute has to be stressful. It can be your ‘me time’, you can meditate / listen to an audiobook or a podcast, or simply unplug for a bit. “...some people are disposed to put too much importance on their feelings and emotions. Some people don't feel alive unless they are in those highs & lows. So they will create them, and be drawn to them. These people probably also have issues with feeling lonely, isolated, and misunderstood. They learned, at a young age, to cling to their emotions as an important symbol of "who they really are.” Which is, of course, not true.” Thank you for that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
