He could have thrown in one or two "...and it's fucked up, and I don't agree with it", then.

So we should bring that any time somebody says that men are disposable so that people can see how fucked up it sounds. It's way more fucked up to say "gays are disposable" then it is to say that men are disposable. How do you guys not get that I was just trying to highlight how fucked up the sentence "men are disposable" is?

I'm just here trying to have an open discussion, not trying to "win" anything, but okay. You're the one who strarted out with the name calling.

Yeah, and eventually we get a bunch of inbred children who can't survive because the genetic pool is not wide enough.

Most people here like to roll with the whole male disposability thing, because it makes them feel like: "I'm a Men's Rights Activist but I'm also a logical big brain individual who values objective 'biological truth', even if it harms and dehumanizes men, and even if the "truth" is horseshit and has been debunked countless times in this very subreddit!" https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/r9y5go/men_are_meant_to_be_expendable_women_are_not_j/hnfnh0p/

In other words, men are absolutely not disposable. Glad we agree.

How are you on the MRA subreddit preaching "women and children first" is what I'd like to know.

Okay, so women who have disabilities like Turner Syndrome, and therefore cannot have kids, are disposable, correct? Because not every woman can get pregnant. You're supporting a philosophy that's used to further justify hating men. We already established this on this subreddit a long time ago, in fact I'm not the one who came up with the gay/lesbian thing. It was brought up by someone else in a past thread, and it was upvoted to the top. Weird how it's being downvoted today for some reason.
/r/MensRights24/10/22 04:27 PM

Also historically, men and women who only sleep with the same gender did not create children, thus ranking them pretty high in disposability scale, if we're gonna be here judging people's worth based on their ability to make babies.
/r/MensRights24/10/22 03:52 PM

Most same sex couples choose to adopt and do not do this.
/r/MensRights24/10/22 03:45 PM

Men are also needed in baby production, therefore, men are not disposable. And if they are, then gays and lesbians are also disposable because a majority of same sex couples do not create children.

So tell me how two men having sex produces a baby then? How does being a man = stifled reproductive abilities? You guys are making no sense in trying to justify why the flawed idea of "male disposability" makes sense. Seems fucking weird to see this type of shit being upvoted in this subreddit of all places.
/r/MensRights24/10/22 02:00 PM

Yes, but they don't produce babies, because they only ever sleep with someone of the same sex, thus never producing a child. By the logic people use to justify treating men as "disposable" gays and lesbians are also disposable.

Nope, don't accept it. Try to change society's attitude to be more positive towards men. That's the purpose of this movement.
/r/MensRights24/10/22 11:29 AM

If women are more valuable because they can produce babies, then where does that put gays and lesbians?

I've never understood the common feminist belief that describing how women are privileged and treated better in society = misogyny.

They do what you're describing on TwoX (but way worse). What you witness happening in this subreddit is called "holding women accountable."

Nope, it's important to debate with feminists so that regular people can hear the other side. Don't let their voices be the only ones that exist in the conversation. If we exclusively only discuss our issues in subreddits we agree with like this one, then no one else will know we exist.

In my experience many years on this website, if the first comment in a thread is opinion A, and the rest of the responses are opinion B, while shitting on A, that's not a good sign if you're on team A. Even if A is highly upvoted. It can also mean that there's an ongoing shift in reddit's culture. Back in 2013 you could actually find "I don't agree with feminism" opinions upvoted to the top of reddit's front page, but all the responses would be "OP, you don't know what feminism actually is, blah…

If you want an actual fun read, you should check out r/TwoXChromosomes. They're way angrier, and hate the opposite gender way more than us. Something tells me you would agree with everything posted there, though.

Anyone who questions OP will have their comment downvoted to -50 and a bunch of angry responses. Nothing but blind praise allowed. I'm starting to think that these guys just want a woman to talk to them, are upset none of them will, and so they post here. When the purpose of this sub should be using your brain in a society that has been conditioned to shut it off when talking about gender politics.

God forbid we ever question women. You guys are just as big a suckers for female attention as any male feminist.

Twitter? The front page of reddit? How about right here? https://www.reddit.com/r/WhitePeopleTwitter/comments/xli6dw/who_makes_you_feel_unsafe/? This thread is strangely devoid of all these good feminists and women who care about and stick up for men. Outside of this subreddit, and in the real world, people like OP don't exist, and that's just a fact.

I can't wait to never hear from her, or anyone else like her again until another thread like this is posted. Women like you don't seem to exist outside of "Guys, I'm a woman and we're not all bad!" posts on reddit. EDIT: Anyone who downvotes me is an easily duped moron.

here are even people out there who think the world is flat, people will believe anything, no matter how ridiculous. You literally made the comparison between feminists and flat earthers. At this point I think you're just a troll. Edit I notice you still haven't offered any advice outside of criticizing other people's advice. I've already given a bunch of people advice in this subreddit, and I've been here for a while under different accounts. My advice for the average person is to respond to ign…

At the same time it's important to make sure ignorant statements don't go uncorrected so that neutral people on the outside aren't influenced by bad actors.

You really actually think that the top 1% of men and the bottom 99% are on some team together and look out for each other?

This is basically you saying "These problems aren't a big deal and they can go away if you just close your eyes." These people aren't like flat earthers. They have real power in society and make decisions that effect you. This community needs to stop upvoting lame responses like these, this isn't a self-help forum, we come here to discuss how to effect real change in society and how to prevent toxic people with social power from getting their way, and making things worse for men.

Yeah, but there are degrees of abuse, do you really think this is high on the list? Being yelled at? She could have exposed him and gotten out of that relationship any time she wanted to by doing exactly what she waiting this long to do and simply telling the world that her husband is abusive. She had all the power the entire time. And now she's finally using it, and getting what she wants: he's going to be ruined financially, reputationally, and in many other ways... and her life will get bette…

It's not a competition, but it's weird how seriously people are taking this to where you're not allowed to have a differing opinion without being downvoted and labelled an incel. I've never eseen this much passion and aggression for anything on this site, especially involving a man being abused.
/r/MensRights17/10/22 12:09 PM

That's just straight up wrong. How can you possibly think they don't relate to each other when they both involve an abusive relationship?

People care more about this than they did the Johnny Depp case, where there was actual physical abuse.

It's definitely better than mine and most people's. And she's going to get out of this completely unscathed, and with more than she had when she came in, and look like a hero. In about a year from now, her life will be better than your amazing better than a multi millionaire life.

Just put it on the fucking Men's Rights page and see what the community has to say about my observations, Jesus Christ. The point isn't to "minimize abuse", it's the about nuances of the situation which I brought up, and the fact that you're not allowed to discuss these things anywhere else. You're doing exactly what feminists do all the time by shutting down all conversation, holy shit.
/r/MensRights17/10/22 07:00 AM

If only "being abusive" was the point of this thread. The point is society's reaction to something that shouldn't be as big of a deal as it is, just because it's happening to a woman. How the fuck is this a Men's Rights issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/y5ymu9/leaving/ I think there's an actual real discussion to be had in my thread, whereas this thread got 4 fucking responses. Do better, mods.

It's important to keep in mind that he's good looking, because a lot of people seem to think that only uglier male celebrities like Louis CK and Bill Cosby are at risk of being cancelled, when the reality is that all men are at risk.

Since when are men struggling to empathize with women? Even at the bottom of this thread there are a bunch of people angry at the mere suggestion that men have it harder than women. Not to mention the mainstream part of reddit's community, the media, and all of mainstream society. Plenty of men fighting for women and being kind to women.

To me, there's no excuse for this type of attitude. It's so easy to look at someone who has problems and say: "maybe I don't understand what he's going through or what he's feeling, but it wouldn't hurt to be nice to him and put in the bare minimum level of effort to make another human being's life more comfortable. Maybe I can simply smile and say hello to him to make him feel acknowledged." What you described: "This person has problems, therefore I don't have any use for him. May he suffer in …

So instead of calling out the assholes in the linked thread, you decided to go on a rant about technology and critical thinking skills, and lecture us on how "not everyone is bad"? How is that helpful?

So is "I want to kill you in front of your children" a quote that is apparently taken from r/MensRights. Oh there's no way in hell that comment is upvoted, in fact I'd bet you real money that it's not sitting anywhere above -20 points.

Most men are trained to be satisfied with the table scraps society gives them. What's your point?
/r/MensRights11/10/22 01:06 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
