Same, never heard of it.

Huh? American women are (can be) extremely forward!

They could get me all the pussy in the world but Christ the description of these outfits makes my testicles shrivel.

I think they value youth for that period during which youth is important, ie the first part of a long relationship during which one hopes to have children. After that period is over, hopefully the relationship will have a bond and shared past and future which will be valued in turn. It’s an unfortunate fact that relationships don’t always work out, and you’d want a good few years under your belt before you decide to have kids together. That’s a tough thing for women in their 30s or 40s to naviga…

No I don’t think so. A lot of young professional women where I am are living hand to mouth to begin with. If they have to take time off work they’re fucked. OP is wrong, it is not the high earning boss babes who this affects, nor is it those with little social capital, it is those in the middle who have much to lose but little money to protect them from losing what they have.

Tbh I’m not sure there’s a correlation anywhere to be found in all this. I’ve slept with women who were very liberated and honestly, not to be unkind, they were crap at sex. Conversely I’ve slept with women who made me wait a little while who turned out to be highly sexual. And vice versa. I think human sexuality is so complex there’s really no one explanation, or really any explanation at all.

There is a big overlap and you can’t be a misogynist without being a sexist, but misogyny is specifically the hatred of women, or perhaps in less extreme cases perceiving women as lesser than men. Sexism on the other hand, while it mostly overlaps with misogyny, can have benign expressions, eg “women and children first” which are cultural elaborations of what I guess you’d call gender essentialism, which obviously some will find problematic in itself.

Absolutely. As a non-religious person my capacity to shock my peers with my belief that a foetus is a human life (with qualifications, obviously) is surprising.

I think you are wrong to conflate sexism and misogyny. They are two different things.

This is very nice to read because every time I hear it I want to ask the person talking about it to try replacing “The Patriarchy” with “The Illuminati” or “The Jews”. Do that and you will have your answer. I never do actually ask that because at the end of the day I’m still out here trying to get laid.

It’s pretty wild to be a guy doing stuff in the bedroom that you don’t really want to do.

The safe ≠ hot/fuckable dichotomy is especially incoherent when you consider that the safe, hot man is a pretty common trope in popular culture. Kind of like the make version of the hot librarian but not quite.

Yeah it’s almost as if personality traits exist on a spectrum or something? Wild! Fellow Gen X slacker btw 🤝

Yeah it doesn't add up. Nobody is calling men who get pumped and dumped incels. I guess because it's relatively rare. As a man who has been pumped and dumped and left confused and hurt a few times, it's implied that I'm a loser who needs to get over it rather than an incel. A small but important distinction even though, in the aftermath, I was literally an involuntary celibate. Lol.

Listen, you don’t have to have sex right off the bat, but you need to make a move (kiss) as soon as is appropriate. When exactly is appropriate will differ from woman to woman, and is something you will learn to gauge from experience. If you don’t, you will miss out. There is an explanation for this but it comes across as red-pilly and that’s not my thing. Just go with the facts as they are presented- make your move asap. Wooing a lady like you’re in the 1890s will likely only people in very con…

You haven't noticed it because it doesn't happen. Maybe with teenagers coming out of school but not among adults.

Most women might be able to have a clitoral orgasm from PIV, but the frequency is probably quite low. The vast majority of sex being had on this planet is between people in relationships, and most of that sex is being had in the morning before work or in the evening before bed, and tends toward the perfunctory "needs met" category. Giving a woman a clitoral orgasm from PIV alone generally takes way more time and effort and has been, for me anyway, a special occasion. If you are talking about vag…

?? Any woman under 70.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 05:51 PM

Maybe, but aren’t couples of that class going to be more likely to pair with mates of their own age, usually at an appropriate age (ie post college years, mid 20s to early 30s), stay paired, and also, importantly, the men of that class are unlikely to have access to much younger women outside of those contexts where they would have much to lose should they want to engage in a sexual relationship, ie teaching, work, family? Not sure. It’s a whole constellation of social or societal controls that …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 10:51 AM

I’m going to guess that factors like social capital and family stability have more to do with it than the opinions of middle class women. For a long time urban society required stability and that means people marrying their peers and staying married. Having a harem of teenage girls only ever worked for kings, wild tribesmen and people at the lowest end of the social strata with no assets to protect.

In 15 years you will be fantasising about fucking 22 year old chicks, and it won’t be because they’re easily manipulated. Trust me bro.

Yeah I’ve known a few dudes who were very talented at bedding women and they all had an aura about them that I didn’t envy. They usually had a hard time making genuine friendships with other men too.

It’s quite common across the globe, or was until recently. Not rape necessarily but ritualised kidnap for sure.

I am. But I’m also funny, charming, fuck like a champ, and, most important when it comes to monkey branching, weak willed and require women for validation and self worth.

I have monkey branched up a few times. I’m a man, and know lots of men who have done it too. It’s a classic, aka “having someone else lined up”.

Plenty of dudes in their early 40s chasing younger women. Consent messaging has nothing to do with it if both parties are consenting. I personally don’t have a problem with it if the younger person is in their mid 20s, though it’s probably not a particularly good look or a particularly good idea. Grown men going after teenagers though, definitely not wholesome and I will judge the shit out of that no problem.

I think it’s age rather than generational. Men in their forties trying to recapture lost youth and also not really giving a shit about what people think. That’s just in general. The ones trying to chase teenagers were probably skeevers when they were in their 20s too.

Can confirm. As a fairly attractive man I can find myself blabbing at women for hours. I need to watch myself sometimes, though tbf my interests/style of talking are probably more on the female side of the spectrum, if you’ll excuse the gross reductionist/essentialist generalisation and gender stereotyping. That said, I also love listening to women blab for hours. I grew up around a lot of women who knew how to talk so it’s kind of my happy place. It’s like a sonic massage.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
