A lot of this comes down to the “no true Scotsman fallacy”. If feminism would actually admit to their being “bad” feminists and actively try them push out, a lot more people might actually align themselves with that label. However you just get people saying “no, those aren’t REAL feminists, only IM the real feminist.” It’s the equivalent of going “hey hey, look over here, look over here, just ignore all that over there.”

This is misinformation that always comes up around these discussions. Truth is that there was side effects (not really sure how bad they were), but majority of the participants still wanted to continue with the study. But I think it was the company funding the study or the regulatory body that pulled the funding to the study due to the side effects. Reading this immediately made me think of how some women’s shelters operate. There are some shelters out there who won’t let a woman in if she has child who is male. Some of them even have to policy for boys as young as 10. Imagine being that boy. Watching your mum be physically and emotionally abused. Then you yourself be abused too. Did anybody else see the massive subreddit drama that happened on r/trans about 6ish months ago. Basically what you and everybody else is describing. The whole thing was a clusterfuck. Pretty sure this is already a law in India? The promise of marriage in order to get sex is considered rape under their law and men can be charged with it. But then if you sleep with someone who you wanted to marry and then you changed your mind, because that does happen, it would still be considered rape and you can get charged.

Okay this is my mistake. It wasn’t TherapyJeff. It was Professor Neil who posted it. I couldn’t find it on insta but I found it on tiktok. He isn’t a therapist, he is actually a college English professor. He labels himself as a male feminist and uses so much therapy speak in his videos that I honestly just thought he was a therapist. Go through his stuff and like none of it has anything to do with what he is apparently a professor off.

They stored all licenses and selfies in an external database in CLEARTEXT. Not even fucking encrypted or anything.
