there’s a huge difference between being a loving, nurturing partner and having to constantly clean up for your partner because he doesn’t know how to or makes you do all the chores and all daily life tasks for him. women on average do more housework than their husbands even when they earn more, and women actually lose hours of free time when they get married while their husbands gain it because she takes over more chores.

women want respectful men who view them as equals and don’t abuse them. we don’t care where they come from as long as they meet those qualifications and have similar values.

it’s hard to have a positive view on men when they don’t even view us as their equals https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/columnist/2026/03/12/gen-z-men-poll-wife-obey-husband/89087781007/ and no, women are still oppressed globally. there is not a single country on earth with full equality according to the united nations. and women still live in a system designed for men and face the consequences of that, like how women are more likely to be seriously injured or killed in car accidents compar…

i have no data on that. all i know is that men my age are becoming more and more misogynistic, with a third of them saying women should obey their husbands. https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/columnist/2026/03/12/gen-z-men-poll-wife-obey-husband/89087781007/ in terms of “hating men”, it would be hard for a lot of women to have a positive opinion about men when they don’t view us as their equals
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 02:35 PM

when tf did i say that? all i said is that a non-western man that is not abusive or misogynistic is better than a western man that is. women don’t want to be abused
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 02:18 PM

if men didn’t hate us they wouldn’t systemically abuse us, rape us, take our rights away, limit our opportunity, and build systems that oppress us. some women hate men BECAUSE of these things. it is reactionary
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 10:37 AM

i’d personally say that a non-western man who doesn’t rape abuse and kill is better than a western one that does. “better” is determined by action and beliefs.

i do view them (incels) as a danger because this is dangerous, and i am cautious around every man because not being cautious got me sexually assaulted. that’s literally what the claim started as. my claim was that this rhetoric is dangerous because it normalizes violence against women. despite actual physical violence against me, i still view men as people. being cautious and viewing incels as dangerous does not erase their personhood, it protects me from more sexual violence. i still see men as…

“probably just joking” is doing a LOT of heavy lifting there. none of these men are joking. i used to frequent that website. all of the posts are like this. incel subreddits are banned because they explicitly call for violence against women. i literally just went to their forum rn and found this. they do not view women as people. college educated women still view men as people and as valuable members of society deserving of rights. incels do not view women this way. inceltears mocks these misogy…

college educated women aren’t calling for the death or rape of all men, or systemic disenfranchisement, or justify beating and abusing men like incels do <image>

do you not think their rhetoric is dangerous?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 11:47 PM

here is the thought process. women see incels and red pillers be completely and totally misogynistic, claim hypergamy, people call for the repealing of the 19th amendment, etc. we then see usually these same men complain about being lonely and not getting any attention from women. thus comments like these are left.

80% of women develop the “baby blues” and 1 in 5 postpartum women develop postpartum depression, and only 50% of these women actually are treated. suicide is one of the leading causes of death during the postpartum period. it’s not an irrelevant or invalid comparison.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 11:22 PM

what does postpartum depression lead to? self harm and suicide. it’s directly related, i don’t know how you don’t see that.

what statistical backing do you have for women’s attachment being that way?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 06:39 PM
1

i’d argue it’s the opposite. it is statistically men who leave relationships when their partners become less useful to them. take chronic and terminal diagnoses, for example. men are statistically more likely to leave their partners with a diagnosis like cancer because their wives can no longer do work around the house, or, more commonly, no longer can have sex with them and are less attractive.

if you’re going to post in a debate sub, you should have evidence to prove your claim. most of what gets posted here by bp and red pill men about hypergamy, for example, is disproven by data and by just looking around my college campus. in most couples i see, the men are a lot less attractive than their partners. the original ok cupid study that started all this that people love to use actually showed that while women rated men lower on average, they still swiped on the average looking men. the …

i’m in a commitment relationship with my man. we aren’t married and have been together for almost 8 months now. we live together, pay bills, have a promise ring. just not married. committed doesn’t have to mean marriage.

this has been extensively studied in sociology. it’s so well known that doctors will literally warn women when they are diagnosed. you can plug your fingers in your ears and ignore it, but this is a very real phenomenon that happens, it’s just uncomfortable for you because it is different than what you’ve been told and the narrative you try to spin

dude what are you talking about? like paying on first dates? people like you with this mindset are the reason i refuse to let men pay for me until a few dates in for fear you’ll use it as me owing you something. most women care about men. we care about other people. the only reason we hate on you is because shitty men that say things like women shouldn’t have the right to vote or are incapable of feeling love make the rest of you look bad, so yeah, of course we’re gonna hate on people who want t…

the only inherent value you’ll see half the black pill or red pill people say women have is for sex. and i’m not just talking about value, im talking about personhood as well. red pill and black pill men don’t see women either as people at all or on people in the same regard they see men. i have seen men on here say women should not have the right to vote, friendship with women is useless and we provide no benefit outside of sex, that we are incapable of feeling romantic love, etc. these same th…

“women are evil” was a made up example of an outrageous claim that most people would disagree with that some people on here would evidently agree with. “women can’t feel romantic love” is a slightly less but still outrageous claim most people would disagree with but some people here actually do agree with. i’m not claiming that’s what was said, i’m illustrating the outlandishness made by people in this sub by drawing parallels to an outwardly insane claim to one people on this sub agree with

nowhere in his post did he even imply that. he even said these claims are a direct response to men claiming the opposite. how many men on here have you seen say friendship or a non-sexual relationship with a woman is pointless or similar claims? i’ve seen countless. this is a direct response to those claims, he never said attention from women is better than attention from other men or implied it anywhere in his post. just that they are equally helpful and women can make good friends, contrary to…

because in spaces like these, men are seen as inherently valuable with no need to debate their worth. with women, there’s a need to debate our value, worth, and personhood. the only time you’ll see a post on here doubting a man’s inherent worth is if another redpiller is comparing them to an item in a marketplace instead of a person. the same can’t be said about women, as most of the posts on this sub are debating a woman’s inherent worth, personhood, and autonomy or topic adjacent to it.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 07:47 PM

i never claimed that all women’s love is enduring and i never claimed all men’s love is conditional. i didn’t make any absolute claims, i just said that when it comes to me, i fell in love with the people i dated and they’ll always have a part of me. it’s pushback on the idea that women can’t feel romantic love towards men and the idea that all men’s love is unconditional, from my perspective and the perspective of the other women around me.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 07:44 PM

i find it hilarious someone could post something like “women are evil” and it’ll get at least like 50 upvotes but someone posting “women are amazing” will get downvoted into oblivion 😭. gotta love this sub

that didn’t answer any of my questions. so women
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 06:32 PM

the problem is that there’s no evidence to back any of these claims up, including the 80/20 thing. and i’m not the exception. it’s the lived experience of me and the other women and girls around me, a vast majority of them. and i should’ve been clearer, i wasn’t dating two guys at once, i’ve just had two boyfriends in the past, and i still love both of them. this is like most other women i know too. there isn’t any evidence to suggest men’s love is more unconditional either. i’d actually argue t…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 06:24 PM

none of the links prove this either. it also just doesn’t make any sense. can women feel romantic love towards other women, or are men the exception? are you saying we can experience platonic and familial love but for some reason, romantic love is again some mythical exception? it just isn’t logical
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 05:58 PM

none of these support the idea that women are incapable of loving men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 05:28 PM

are you suggesting when we see a random guy on the street that we find physically attractive that we somehow know his wealth and status? this doesn’t make any sense
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 05:15 PM

what you’re describing is limerance, not love, and women experience it too.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 05:14 PM

women talking about how they don’t need men is a reaction to being used and abused by terrible men in their past, or seeing terrible men in the wild, like people on twitter or .it. or because we physically don’t need a man’s resources to survive now considering we can open our own bank accounts and get jobs without discrimination (hooray feminism!) it’s not a conspiracy. this doesn’t mean they don’t care about or feel empathy towards men in general, just that they’re tired of misogyny and abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 05:03 PM

absolutely not the case. all of the guys i’ve been in relationships or situationships with have either been objectively average or slightly below average (i didn’t think so but my friends would tell me). but when we fall in love with them, we start viewing them as the most attractive guy in the world. most of them have been average height too except for one guy
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 04:57 PM

the reason they gave is literally one of the biggest reasons people get a divorce. women don’t want to be maids and pick up after their grown husbands. and like the other person said, virtually no woman is going to blow up her life because she’s “bored” and “wants to have some fun”. this is just an idea red pillers create to avoid accountability and the real reason women leave.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 04:45 PM

dude, what the fuck are you talking about? i get that you’re probably pretty young and probably got dumped by a girl, but to then extend that to literally every woman and claim that we can’t feel love is insane. you are suggesting half of the population can’t feel one of the most basic human emotions, and that is so absurd i shouldn’t even have to tell you why. i’ve been in 2 relationships in my life so far. i loved them more than i thought was possible, so much so that i let one of them walk al…

humans aren’t a market though. you aren’t an item. you’re a person with hopes, dreams, fears, goals, likes and dislikes, and a story. placing your only value on getting a date and some metaphorical market will cause you nothing but more suffering.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/25 07:00 PM

not at all. but a lot of men, from my limited perspective, seem to be lacking deep platonic relationships as well as romantic ones, and even in platonic relationships, there’s this standard among guys that hugging and stuff is gay. again, not all men are like this, but my guy friends tell me this and say that’s why they like having platonic relationships with women, because we’re more apt to show physical affection like hugs.

i mean if that’s the approach he wants to go with (one success per a couple women finding him a creep) then by all means, keep going, there’s nothing i can do to stop him. i’d say it’d probably work better to lead with general compliments in non-club settings as opposed to sexual ones but what do i know

i mean in this specific scenario with this specific line, and rereading my reply, i think it’s pretty obvious that’s what i meant considering i never implied it was your only success ever. you got one woman’s attention and the rest found you creepy. the irony of saying blue pill people lack contextual thinking yet doing the exact same thing.

her position is not difficult to understand. if you’re want to be friends with a woman, be friends with her genuinely. eventually somewhere down the line, you both might develop feelings for each other, you might not. if you’re interested in a woman romantically, don’t approach her like you want to be friends with her and then be surprised when she only wants to be friends.

children can pay sales tax sure, but it’s a disingenuous position because not only do they not pay income tax (unless we’re talking about employed 15-17, which i’ll address in a second) , which is what is generally meant by that, children again aren’t held to the same standards of responsibility, accountability, and autonomy of adult citizens. children having choices, including those income tax paying 15-17 year olds, is not the same as making informed, rational, and legally binding decisions. c…

you didn’t “expose” anything because your points are founded in misunderstanding of a feminist perspective. bodily autonomy, as a principle, is the idea that an autonomous person has agency over their body- the right to control what things are or are not to be done to their own bodies, be it in regards to sex, contraception, medical care, health, life, or future, without the threat of coercion or violence. the issue of abortion is absolutely the principle of bodily autonomy. women, as autonomous…

we are, especially intersectional feminists. it’s usually liberal feminists in my experience that are more focused on what’s happening in their own countries and not globally. education itself is a tool to fight against oppression. for some women, life was hell on earth. and some women still have this reality. even in “first world” countries like the united states, women still face inequality. girls are still married off to older men as child brides. women do not have bodily autonomy in many sta…

part of intersectionality means that feminists fight for women on an international scale. we don’t care about women in our country, but in other countries as well. in the united states, 66 million women don’t have bodily autonomy. in globally 12 million girls under the age of 18 were married to older men, equating up to 28 children a minute. 700 million worldwide were married before 18, and 250 million of them were married before 15. 1 in 3 women worldwide has been the victim of physical or sexu…

systemically restricting a group’s opportunities, mobility, access to services, etc, is oppression, regardless of if you think the oppression was “good”. women on a global scale for centuries have systemically been denied opportunities, mobility, access to services, a political voice, etc, and many women worldwide are still denied. in the united states, 66 million women don’t have bodily autonomy. in globally 12 million girls under the age of 18 were married to older men, equating up to 28 child…

because you still have a stake in the nation regardless of if you have to “fight for it” or not. you still live in it and are effected by policy set forth by legislators and should thus be able to vote for legislators who have your interests in mind. that is the basic premise of voting. it has never had anything remotely to do with the draft or who served in the military, which like i said has only been used as an expander and not a limiter. and you have an incredibly distorted view of feminism …

are you genuinely going to sit here and say that historically women were the ones oppressing men? are you joking? women had no political power to oppress because they couldn’t vote, couldn’t hold office, etc. there is no universe where men working difficult jobs because women weren’t allowed to is women oppressing men. it’s an absolutely ridiculous claim. and the fact that where you’re from men can legally rape their wives is sickening and exactly why feminism is needed

men are the ones who set up the system of only men being drafted, so in this scenario it is yet again men creating a barrier for women. being part of a draft has never historically been a prerequisite for the right to vote, nor should it be. for example, if the right to vote was based on who could be drafted, it sets a precedent of ableism, as people with disabilities and medical conditions could not get drafted and thus under your worldview not have the right to vote. it has never been about wh…

the country i live in, the united states, has a large enough military, so i speak to what i’m familiar with. conquest/invasion in the modern era would be an unbelievably unlikely scenario. in terms of war, that should incentivize a country to use diplomatic means or increase benefits to the military so it actually becomes a desirable occupation, not force unwilling people to do it.

a lot of them just parrot things they hear in red pill circles and take it as reality without considering actual reality if that makes sense. like you hear these guys saying “you have to be a 10, rich, and 6’4 to get a girlfriend because hoes are shallow” and take that as reality while failing to actually look around outside and see that the overwhelming majority of men don’t fit that description and still have wives and girlfriends. and because they’re young, they don’t think twice about it. be…

i don’t think so. there are always going to be male grifters in today’s day and age using insecure men as a way to make money by feeding them dating lies. that way, when they experience failure, the man will be reinforced in his beliefs that women are bitches and go back to the grifter and give him more attention and need more ill fated advice. it’s a feedback loop. we see this happening with people like andrew tate.

i’m not saying just because feminists are against the patriarchy that that is all they are doing for men. feminists regularly advocate for more social support for men’s mental health. and that is just one example. and normalizing one thing does not mean we can’t normalize another. feminism is about choice for everyone. if a woman chooses to work instead of being a sahm, that’s wonderful. if a man wants to be a sahd, that’s great too. we are able to focus on a multitude of different points. and u…

because men are hurt by the patriarchy too. let’s use an analogy and then an example. if someone were to punch someone else in the face, their hand would hurt. in this scenario, the puncher is a man under the patriarchy, the punching is the patriarchy, and the person getting punched is a woman. i’m not saying men enforce the patriarchy per say, but even though it hurts women way more, it still hurts men. now let’s look at a real world example. because under the patriarchy, men are expected to be…

yes, it is entirely believable that when you said women did nothing you meant all of them did nothing because you lot have a history of denying and undermining women’s accomplishments. the increase was an addition of 6.7 million women. manufacturing especially rose from 21 to 34%. this is not nothing. this is in a time where women were discouraged to work until now, faced discrimination (especially women of color), and had a home they were expected to take care of. at this time, an increase like…
