I’m one of them. In a (non monogamous) relationship. My partner has a normal sex drive, yet I’m almost constantly pestering him for sex. And we aren’t as rare as you think we are.

Disclaimer, I’m female. Some male/female friendships have a lot of value, but only when they are truly platonic, which is rare. My best friend of 25 years is a man. We fucked about 20 years ago, realised we weren’t right for each other and locked in a solid friendship ever since. We’ve lived together as flat mates since then, both single, and still never went there again. He’s been married for 5 years. I’ve been with my guy for 2 years. My guy just had to understand that he was part of the packa…

I don’t get it at all. I’m a 5’3” female, and through coincidence, all of my previous partners have been 6’1” and taller. My current partner is about 5’9” or so, and I find that WAY more attractive personally.

Nope, it’s definitely a thing in Australia too.

We’ve been seeing each other for eighteen months, exclusively for six months. I’m 43, he’s 44. We don’t live together, but stay at each others houses 5 or 6 nights a week. We have sex 2 - 3 times a week. I’d like it more. Initiation is sort of mutual - I’d be up for it every night, though it’s quite obvious when he’s not in the mood. Sigh.

No we aren't. But we are still friends, and still have sex. The reasons we broke up were nothing to do with the above.

My most recent partner was very into saying a lot of degrading stuff during sex, and definitely liked being in control, but he wasn’t Particularly physically rough. So yeah, you can dominate without being rough. Side note: he was a complete gentleman and very respectful out of the bedroom.

Something like that. I don’t really understand it. But yes, it feels like what I see with my eyes changes based on their personality. Preference in a relationship is definitely determined by personality. But if I’m just looking for a hook up (I don’t do FWB), I can absolutely just appreciate how a guy looks, regardless of personality.

Perhaps? But I don’t understand why. I’m 5’3” - why would a partner who is a foot taller than me be ideal? Don’t get me wrong, I would (and have) dated tall men, but 6” taller than me is a lot more attractive.

THIS! This is the main thing that I think most women would agree with.

I’m a woman, and none of those things are things I care about or make me find a man any more or less attractive other than physical strength. Like, that’s not a requirement, but it is attractive. Also, I actually have a preference for men under about 5’10”. There really is no universal thing, other than basic traits such as being kind, etc.

I love cologne when it’s a nice one 🤷🏼‍♀️

Cologne is amazing when it’s a good smelling one.

Sure, there probably is an overlap 🤷🏼‍♀️. I’m not sure what point you are making. Men and women are both naturally going to be drawn towards people they find physically attractive. You seem very bitter about this. Which I find surprising given that men seem to judge women based on looks alone a lot more frequently than women do. But lol at telling me what is and isn’t attraction. No, I’m telling you that I know from experience that my PHYSICAL attraction to someone changes based on how I feel ab…

Ok. Fair point. However, just as an example, when I showed his pictures to my cousin, she screwed up her nose and said yuck. Where I find him hot as fuck (side note, my cousin and I would be considered to be of similar attractiveness by most standards). So what one person considers hot is entirely different for another. Saying nearly all men are ugly, or just above ugly to all women is garbage though. If I’m looking to actually meet someone with a view to a relationship, there’s not many men I w…

I’ve done it. My children’s father stayed home with two out of our three children. I never resented it because having done both, I’d much prefer being the one to go to work. When children are pre-school age, working is easier than being a SAHP.

My guy is pretty much this dude. He earns ok money at a job he really enjoys (which is way more important to me). He lives in a townhouse with a roommate. He drives an ok car - not a shitter, but nothing flash. He plays video games. I’m a professional. I earn about 50% more again than him. And I’m absolutely smitten with him. I’ve been with ‘career men’ in the past, and I can tell you hands down that my current guy is so much more attractive in every way. He’s intelligent, funny, kind, quirky, a…

If we are sticking strictly to the question, it depends what 'better' means. A is likely going to be 'better' if the goal is purely getting laid. B is going to be 'better' in terms of being a decent human being.

D - be honest about your intent without being an arsehole. My most recent FB was flat out honest from our first conversation (on Tinder) that that was all he was looking for. He was hot, so I agreed to it. Not a relationship, not a FWB (too complicated IMO), just good old fashioned banging. It worked perfectly for several months - he was clean and polite, we had just enough pillowtalk to know we 'liked' each other, but not enough to form any sort of bond.

Of course attraction in relationships is holistic, who wants to be with someone whose personality they don’t find attractive? That said. I absolutely find my partner physically attractive, and I would even if I didn’t find his personality attractive. I love looking at him, I love touching him, and I am always, always up for sex with him. Lucky you for being so physically attractive that no man would not commit to you. It seems you certainly don’t think men have a holistic approach to relationshi…

Ugh, thats a nope from me (female) too. When I'm looking for a partner, it's the entire package that I'm after, and the physical aspect is less important, and an 'average' male quickly becomes a hot as fuck male when he ticks the other boxes. But when I'm single, I'm completely down with jumping on Tinder, swiping right on all the hotties and just picking one. Nothing holistic about it, its actually the opposite, incredibly superficial - I punch way above my weight for casual hook ups, because i…

I'm absolutely physically attracted to men. Just my scope of who I find attractive is probably much smaller than the average man. I'm not sure if my partner would be attractive to most women. He's certainly not unattractive by any standard. To me he is gorgeous, I find him sexy as fuck. He has a beer belly, I love rubbing it and touching it. I'm always touching him somewhere, and grab his butt any chance I get. On men in general, I'm a forearm and thigh girl. So we do have those things. Oh, and …

I’m a woman, and in my experience, men are more likely to cheat in a HAPPY relationship. For me, the only time I have found myself contemplating cheating (or actually doing it many years ago, to my regret), it’s made me realise I am no longer happy with my partner. With my current partner, I have a higher sex drive than him and want it more often than he does. But I’m very happy with our relationship and think he is as sexy as hell. I know I’m reasonably attractive for my age and that I could ea…

We have different definitions of beta. My partner works an average, ok paying 9-5 job. But he oozes masculinity and is fairly dominant in bed. I don’t consider him beta at all. I’m a strong personality, but he even more so. I find him as sexy as fuck and I jump him every chance I get.
