Yeah, plus people with heavy tats just date other people with heavy tats. Having at least one tattoo is so common now.

This doesn't even need paragraphs of explaining. Investing in a single person is unwise because people change and can be unreliable. That wonderful man you met after high school might not be so wonderful when he experiences the pressures of family life, work or even get bored of the same woman and cheats. And if you put all your eggs on the husband basket, good luck when things go to shit and you don't have a career to rely on

Err .no If women try to police mens use of porn they get lambasted and told to stop being ridiculous. (Unless he's watching dodgy porn or actually addicted). Women are told to accept that men will always watch other women getting fucked

Prior to working in this industry I was a very weird and awkward girl - and really struggled to make friends. Like I said - it did wonders for my self esteem and things just got better after that.

Yeah looking at more of his pictures he's not super hot, but definitely above average. He's also got a six pack. Unless he has a really boring personality and zero game - I can easily see him with a handful of STRs and a several encounters of casual sex over the course of 8 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/21 07:45 PM
3

Sorry, read that wrong. I was sexually active for two years and had tried just using just my hand to no avail. Came with a dildo and got pretty addicted (like..several times a day). Chucked it away and practiced with my hand, it was successful after a couple of weeks. Sometimes I will just use my dildo for months, then when I'm out of batteries I just use my hand. It broke and I haven't had one for a year. I invite a guy over or use my hands.

Eh - if I'm going to have one and only person in my bed for a long period of time - I think it's incumbent that that man makes me salivate.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/21 07:36 PM

Oh yeah. Personally cunnilingus orgasms are the most Intense, partly because he keeps licking through the climax (and with hands or a dildo you lose control of your hands as you cum).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/21 07:32 PM

I was one of those women who could only cum with a dildo. I got rid of it and within maybe two weeks I could get off just using my hands. No Biggie.

That guys hot. Twerps are delusional if they think he spent 7 years orbiting that girl and not having fun with other women LOL Apparently he's bi - so yeah.. definitely having lots of fun.

What makes you spent the years they were friends trying to be in a relationship with her? What makes you think he didn't spend all those years having fun with other women? He's a pretty good looking chap, it would be very unlikely he wasn't having fun in that time.

I worked in hospitality through my late teens so that meant I couldn't go clubbing in weekends. I still met up with people weekday nights and used to drink after work at someone's house. I find it easy to balance it out with responsibilities, so it doesn't get in the way of work and family life Been going out twice a week this summer, to gigs and parties. Sometimes with my bf, sometimes just with friends. I'm toning it down at the moment just for health reasons. Music and partying is such a big …

Yeah, the one that springs to mind is Andy and Erin from the office. 27 and mid 40s. Aside from being way out of her league, they have nothing in common and it feels so creepy and wierd. I'm glad she finds that other guy

I hear it from American conservatives online and from religious and non western individuals Irl. I went to a UK school in the early naughties (mostly English kids, lower to middle class) and it was spoken about then. As soon as we went to college it just completely stopped.

I've seen women stay married to men who were literal pedophiles and men who beat them black and blue, despite having 'rights'. But my point stands, if youre dating someone considerably older than yourself, you either have an alter motive (money) or very low self esteem.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 06:02 PM
2

Oh they're old? Thats a whole other generation where things were tough. Which is interesting because in times and cultures with more women's rights, women are far less likely to date gross 40yos when they're 25.

No, even chads need to some basic skills on female sexuality lol. 'hey Ide like casual sex' is socially Inept, unsexy and 'robotic". He should flirt, get good feedback and frame it like 'Im not after anything serious". I've booked up with plenty of guys who stated this.

No, neo was cast really well imo. I think the love interest with trinity was a bit 'meh'. They briefly knew each other and only during the current caper then suddenly she turns around and says she loves him. Just felt unecessary?

Oh I see. If your husband does rape you, how consensual is the consensual sex? You're obviously in an extremely abusive relationship. But aside from that, women shouldn't raise babies with abusive, rapist husband's.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 12:06 AM

AFAIK people discuss and agree with the idea about marriage before the man actually proposes. If he's avoiding that conversation and strung this out for nine years, I don't think it's ever going to happen. If you want to have kids you better sort it out sooner or later
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 12:02 AM

Aww, when you do things right it never goes away. We have quite a small age gap so I will definitely go clubbing with her in eight years ;)

"there's something deeper in here that most people probably brush off as 'just part of a movie' Eh, everyone banged on about how 'deep' it was - that's why it was so popular. Kinda like fight club. I can definitely see the appeal. I did find out that the two writers were twin brothers and they both recently came out as trans women so are now twin sisters.

Pretty much.

Feminism is concerned about addressing the patriarchy and mitigating it, that's literally what the movement is about. It doesn't discuss 'misandry" for the same reason it doesn't discuss global warning or petrol prices. That doesn't mean feminists don't care about those things.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 11:15 PM
1

It was Ok, lots of plot holes. I think you needed to have seen it twenty years ago to get the 'wow" factor. The cinematics were really impressive, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 11:14 PM
3

I think about this a lot. Playing hard to get with men always seems to keep them more interested. But there's a chance that it's entirely coincidental and they would have liked me even if I did act 'keen' ? I can think of about three times where I texted a guy to soon after a hook up and they didn't reciprocate interest and it makes me wonder..what if I actually played hard to get ?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 09:42 PM

I've always admired men for the competitiveness and energy - I would love to have such traits. It's also why I'm a big fan in men getting into sport. It allows them to manifest that In a positive way.

I don't like cleaning up after an adult, or being told what to do (far to free spirited for that). I like some aspects of emotional labour (as long as it's not to regular) and obviously I like being pampered

Actually I was taught about this on teacher training on Friday. We were taught how assumptions about boys being naughty and aggressive was a detriment to them and how white working class boys had the lowest academic scores and how that needed to be addressed
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 08:53 PM

Ok
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 08:27 PM

I wonder how many women there are actually just paid to be there? When I was 17 someone tried to talk me going to one. The more I talked about it the more it sounded like a large chunk of women were paid by the hour to be there to balance out the gender. It makes perfect sense tbh. But that takes away some of the fun tbh. It's no longer lots of horny, slutty people having a ball - which is the appeal in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 08:26 PM
24

Apparently loads of men on Reddit have average looking friends that do all those things and still never get laid. It's completely normal to have a large group of hedonistic, free spirited, sex positive, mixed gendered friends you party with every weekend and still be an Incel.

We've pretty much for a two party system in the UK with very few other parties sprinkled about. Sucks, doesn't it?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 08:14 PM

The 'patriarchy' is a system that is propped up by 'society' (men AND women). This is exactly why 'internalised misogyny' is such a talking point.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 08:12 PM
1

I didn't say otherwise ?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 08:10 PM
1

Depends on who's taking about the 'theory'. Whenever I read academia about gender roles and expectations, it's 'society' that is held to account. 'internalised misogyny' gets spoken about all the time, and that's entirely a female thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 07:56 PM
4

This exemplifies 'toxic masculinity' though. Society has such a toxic expectation of masculinity that they deem a man crying in public as sub par and someone to be avoided. If we were ok with men crying, this man wouldn't be avoided like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 07:02 PM
10

I think part of it (sadly) is that we assume people expressing strong emotions in public are mentally unstable, and people have their guard up against mentally unstable people. It just so happens that a mentally ill woman is less threatening than a mentally unstable man. I while ago a mentally ill woman tried to coax my 2yo away from me at a bus stop. I asked her what the hell she was doing and her reply was 'thats my son' (she was wearing a pink coat). "No, that's my daughter". "Where is my son…

I know a few swingers and poly people. They're definitely having a lot of orgies and multiple fuck buddies. Down side is they're mostly old or ugly. I did see one group on feeld (sex app) setting up a sex parties group with younger people. I saw the guy about a year later because he handed me a card with the same group. He was surprisingly attractive. I'm not sure how successful it is. Forgot to say the group claimed to be 'body positive' so that was a nope from me lol

I'm in quite a fresh new relationship. The only compromise so far is that he's really into sports so I have to listen to him talk about it without moaning and occasionally go to games with him. I used to hate sport with a passion (probably because it was pushed on me as a kid) but I've grown to like it more. I think it's a really healthy way for men to exercise their natural aggression and competitiveness. I think some of the problems women have with men is that they don't have an outlet for agg…

Might be an age thing. The younger generation don't have the money and resources to start a family, or they barely have enough and don't want to scrape by.

Guys do this to. It's not always something you can articulate. Sometimes the truth is hurtful to the other person so they don't say it.

I don't think that works all that well.

On the flip side women have surgery and other procedures to keep them attractive. Botox and retinol is a lot cheaper and easier to get compared to a hair transplant for example.

It's pretty common to call people significantly younger than you a 'kid". It's not meant to be taken in the literal sense.

Ugh - I'm constantly getting Bella poarch on my IG reels. I've not seen a single interesting video of her.

I don't think I represent all women. But I don't think they're equivalent, obese people (mend and women) are actually considered disgusting to the vast majority of people.

I don't see how a leftist would attach meaning to number of sexual partners, because they don't view abstinence or chastity as being virtuous. When a person doesn't have those values, naturally they're going to want to have sex in-between relationships and not spend months/years being sexually frustrated.

I'll be brutally honest - balding/receding hairlines are a solid no for me. I'm only 30, maybe as I age I might care about it less.

He WAS hot, he's way past it now. Women sleep with him now because of his fame and fortune
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 08:37 AM

Nope, doesn't resonate at all. I love seeing people and doing stuff. In about 30-40 years I won't have much energy so I want to do it all now whilst I'm young and fit. Sometimes I don't have the energy or motivation but I push through and I'm always glad I did.

If you fail to meet someone who meets your expectations, then you're being unrealistic. The proof is in the pudding.

But in comparison, afro-centric beauty standards celebrate more natural and buxom women. Which has probably led to an uptick in obese women, but you see what I'm saying The problem is it's "buxom' but only in the right places. The vast majority of women (including POC) don't have sexy fat distribution (big ass and tits and small waste).

In a way, the standards have gotten even more crazy as people now want the perfect "hybrid." African lips and ass but people still love European nose, eyes, and jawline. And of course, that big ass needs to make a small waist attached Yep. I feel sorry for the girls and young women who consume this image in the media and don't realise how unrealistic it is.

Im wondering what the strategy is once you do marry a HVM. Are you guys after traditional marriages/ gender roles, or not? Would you consider a sub dedicated to marriage advice ? (I'm f30, btw).

Just a similar attitude towards sex, I'm not bothered by 'n count' per sa. Hasn't paid for sex (can only get off when the other person is getting off Has experienced some casual sex. Has experienced LTRs and cohabitation with women.

'down and out in Paris and london' was a huge critique of capitalism. It's all biographical as well which makes it even more heart breaking
