Well said. You seem like an earnest truth-seeker, Sir.

Imo worrying too much about sounding too nice or too agreeable is beta in and of itself. Just be kind to everyone in general until they deserve otherwise and don’t fabricate assertiveness. I get what you’re saying but body language and socializing should come naturally and almost everyone can sense if you’re intentionally trying to be assertive or dominant. Secure men are polite and do their best to make everyone around them feel at ease (not in a people-pleasing way) aka a gentleman because the…

Having gym etiquette is considered "good boy behavior"? Do you consider being a decent human being to your fellow man a beta mentality or something?

Solid wisdom and advice, you’re a gentleman and a scholar.

Well it sounds to me like the general philosophy has changed a bit since I’ve been away from here then. (Not saying that’s a bad thing as all of TRP should be taken with a grain of salt anyway) Good food for thought, it’s best to stay vigilant and always move forward.

Of course there are, but this mythical idea of a beautiful and good-hearted woman who would stick around through hard times for a long time is typically what the term unicorns are referring to is it not? They will always want an upgrade if their current model is not providing/performing while many guys will happily support a lazy and selfish mooch. The major difference between men and women is that a man will happily support a broke girl and the inverse is only true in some rare weirdo sugar-cou…

There are no unicorns. Or in this guy’s words "diamonds".

He probably means it sounds like you just ran into one, and had to post this to compensate for your lack thereof. Whether that’s true or not, "You need to train your brain too" is such a cliche. Not exactly a mind-blowing revelation. The people who lack that balance are mostly juiced-up influencers and wannabes, but lifting and enough cardio is still the foundation a man should strive for and the majority know that here. You’re mostly preaching to the choir though.

While there are plenty of girls who believe this common notion, this is definitely staged. Too many people with no bad-acting detector up in here.

That’s why I literally said it’s a solid base of an overall lifestyle. But keep having a very shallow view of anyone who employs physical self-improvement, I’m sure it serves you well.

Lifting is just a solid base of a mans overall lifestyle. Even if you’re the last person on earth you should do it. It’s going to benefit you in more ways than most are willing or able to understand. Superficial aspects are a very small part of it unless you’re on the stage competing or modeling.

Yeah it sucks that a piece of technology for gaming and personal use is also a major component of an emerging lucrative industrial boom. Definitely screws over the common man’s ability to have a nice hobby.

Lol you got issues man, I see someone lacking logic and I jump in to correct their nonsense. It’s not that deep. You’re clearly a pathetic person if all you can do in literally every response is attempt uncreative shallow insults and can’t even defend your position.

I’ve been happily married for 12 years so you’re weird assumption with no logical backing whatsoever is already out the window. Nobody said high partner count is the ONLY factor, just that it is a major one.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/03/21 07:55 PM

So the fact that he believes people who have sex with more partners likely don’t value sex and bonding as much as a modest person means he can’t satisfy his partner? That’s quite a massive stretch. Curious how you made it to that conclusion or if you just skipped any reasoning and went straight for a low-effort and uncorrelated offense.

Exactly, some of y’all are brainwashed into thinking sex is necessary, the pinnacle of life, or even something to be proud of. It doesn’t mean shit. We’ve all had it, the ones idolizing it are small-minded small-picture individuals.

You’re really overlooking the symbolism and deeply rooted ritual and tradition involved. There’s way more to it than social norms and legalities.

Even if it’s absurdly low, let’s use 10%. It’s not a purely financial endeavor and has potentially immeasurable benefits. I think most of us are just scared because it is a major risk to mental health, wealth etc.

We’ve already addressed current times are absolutely harder to make marriage work, but how can you possibly assume anyone’s reasons for staying married? There’s marriages in every category you mentioned but also ones you haven’t.

I guess if you view it as only a materialistic legally binding piece of paper then that makes sense, but I didn’t even imply not getting married would lead to misery, simply that a deeper richness and commitment can from it.

I’ve heard this example on here as well, but imo it’s apples to oranges. It feels dishonest to compare a strictly financial contract to one that is a mix of both tangible and intangible net gains. Yes it would suck to lose half or all of your assets in a divorce but maybe having a meaningful relationship intrinsically requires that risk which is why proper vetting and selection of a woman with good values (albeit very rare these days) is vital. Of course we can never predict the future even with…

How is it a fantasy if it’s working for them? I’m all for this sub but still don’t understand why it’s so vehemently against marriage. My parents have had a long and successful marriage as well as grandparents on both sides and many of my aunts and uncles. I guess the divorce rate of our family doesn’t match that of the general population but what am I missing here? Even if it’s 50/50 that a marriage will work is it not worth a shot? Anything worth doing typically is difficult and requires some …

It’s called double-think. They are literally capable of holding two opposing ideas at the same time. Most people never learn this truth.

It's hardly gambling if it's skill based, and not all comp gamers are frail virgins who don't even lift. This stigma is slowly going away but I guess most people are too shallow to get past what's been beaten into them.

Video games aren't all virtual simulated achievement though. These days if you are competitive it's not that hard to win money from tournaments and through betting. Making money competitively through your own discipline and skill is a healthy thing IMO. Casual gamers playing only for fun, sure, waste of fucking time.

That's the problem though, I don't really have any issues except for not seeing a point to any and everything we can possibly do. Everything on the checklist for a meaningful life is checked off yet I still don't "get it".

It's really not, but if you insist then what is the solution in your opinion? Meds and therapy?
/r/TheRedPill25/04/18 06:36 PM

What if your lack of action is existential. What if you don't see a point to anything? I'm not talking general depression but a real inability to see any purpose in anything a person could possibly do, think, or feel. Being unable to distract oneself from the void with a "mission" can be a bitch especially when you've completed most of the things that were meant to fulfill you.
