100% agree with you on this A holistic and nuanced understanding is needed. Also, I just realized I probably sounded like an asshole. Also, we forget that external misogyny can be a byproduct of internal misandry, and sometimes it's straight up misandry being labelled misogyny. Every movement is made up of humans, imperfect in their own ways. There's also an issue with equating a few non-MRAS and a few MRAs into being the entire movement.

There was an article about because of how women and men are socialized generally, it can lead to vastly different communication styles in life between men and woman. I feel like people at this point are just willfully ignoring the amount of incidents of emotional incest between mothers and sons that are publicized and the countless videos that go into either supporting or condemning it.
