Mike Buchanan could do well with a little more tact. He doesn't seem to differentiate between feminism and women, which I think sends the wrong message regarding men's rights. I once made a suggestion to Mike in the comments section of A Voice to Men article, that he should possibly consider naming his award "Whiny Feminist of the Month" or something to that degree, instead of "Whiny Woman of the Month". The difference between women's rights and feminism is the ideology that goes with the latter, namely society is build around a patriarchy that favours men. They are distinctly intertwined, both in academia and policy that effects women and men's rights and responsibilities. If you don't follow the tenets of patriarchy theory then I'd hesitate to call yourself a feminist. Maybe a women's/men's rights activist or egalitarian?

It's about risk management. No one ever says "she deserved it" (any reasonable person anyways), but people might suggest being more proactive before such an event occurs. What does she think is going to happen to the innocent man? If she can't think this far ahead, of the consequences from her actions, she's no better than the rapist. Harsh perhaps... but sending an innocent man to jail out of self-preservation, is just as disgusting. People need to take responsibility for their actions.

Sounds like a strong, independent, and responsible woman to me. If you don't want to do something, speak up AND let your actions speak for you, not your inaction. If she didn't ask for sex from the guy, and didn't get a yes from him, then wouldn't it be fair to say maybe she raped him as well? I'm going more by the comments of the article, than the article itself. Who's to say the guy didn't feel uncomfortable beforehand as well, but went through with it anyway to not disappoint her?

Many philosophies are dogmatic on their original irrational premises, Problem is, feminism doesn't use either a rational premise or follow with logic. Which is why I'm not a fan of philosophy in general. It lacks any kind of objective empiricism for the most part. Instead of observing the world, they'd rather make assumptions on it.

Yes. It's a disgusting trend, relying on shock value and one-upedness to further one's career. What's more likely? A celebrity being extremely careless with their nude photos resulting in public humiliation, or them purposely being leaked and the incredible exposure that results as a fallout? Have you ever heard the term "There's no such thing as bad publicity"?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if this was all a publicity stunt staged by Jennifer and her relations team. That or it's a photoshop job. What is this... the 20th celebrity that has had nude photos/videos "stolen/leaked" in recent years? You would have thought by now, if any celebrity wanted to avoid having this kind of thing happen, they would be incredibly careful to prevent such circumstances.
