1	Ideas for a student looking to make money? Barback. Go to a high end restaurant/bar and ask to be a barback. If you're good, after 4 months they might promote you to bartender. Bartenders & Servers at higher end restaurants/bar make 40k+ a year (It all honestly depends on your restaurant & location). 1	dumb question, but how do I begin cold approaching people? You can start by interacting with the cashier/employee who is assisting you. 3	Looking for a RP/Money mentor People don't want to help others, they want to help those who seek to improve. ^ I read something like that a few weeks ago. Proof: I workout at my gym on a constant basis, and everyone notice(s/d) (I'm in HS aswell). I've literally asked more than 5 personal trainers at the gym for assistance & they give me assistance.
