Man this post could not have come at a better time for me. I've been stuggling lately with transitioning from mutual attraction and making out/sex to it being more than that, and I think this is where I mess up. When I know a girl is attracted to me and I like her I get too excited and forget about mystery, usually giving too much away and coming across as needy. I do hold back and have improved a lot, but this was definitely a reminder of something very important that I was forgetting. Thanks m…

This is good advice! Eye contact is a tricky thing for me sometimes, I have loads of room to improve in. I've gotten pretty good at it, but I feel like my mood impacts it a lot. My biggest problem so far is transmitting attraction through the way I'm looking at the other person unless I know she's interested as well, which is bad.

No, I am saying that I have a hard time being funny and making conversation if when I do it the other person doesn't respond in a clear way to my aproximation, or displays mixed signals. I actually have a hard time across the board sharing my hopes and dreams with people unless I feel there is genuine interest, which was my point and exactly the opposite of your interpretation. It's not a goal of mine, my MO, my objective. I do understand how you could understand it in that way, and if you have …

I didn't mean that I was down during the weekends, it's the other way around! During weekends I'd go out with other friends and have fun and think she wasn't worth the trouble but then I'd hang out with her and get into the attraction shenanigans.

This is great! My biggest problem is when it happens with a girl that I'm pretty much obligated to see at least four times a week... Over the weekend I'm like yeah wtf was I thinking and them monday comes and it's just a weird cycle.

Thank you for the contribution, that's how I felt about it but my 'inexperience' left me intrigued to know the opinion of other, more experienced, people.

No, that's not it a at all. I want to attract interesting women whom I hang around on both day and night settings. Specifically, I want to hear the sub's thoughts about how important it is to be leading a group/be the center of attention. If you see it as the goal everyone should move towards or just an option.

Points 2 and 3 happen to me so much! Hanging around with people I'm really comfortable with or doing fun social games such as talking to strangers, strong eye contact will get me out of the "bad mood" faster, but somedays I'll just be in my own bubble with no way to get out. I think it's more related to being an introvert than "awkward" itself. Most of the times you become "awkward" when you spend too much time in your head and then over-analyze the first steps you make socially, when in reality…

Do you want to be in a relationship with a person who doesn't love you the same way you love them? You made it clear that you wanted to engange in a romantic relationship, and she clearly didn't make any efforts to pursue that with you. That is probably because she has developed a platonic relationship with you where you give her all she wants from a guy-friend, yet she is past the point of feeling attracted to you as a potential sexual candidate. The only way to change that is by stepping away.…

The way out is to focus all this passion on something else. Pick up a new hobby, force yourself to meet new girls! I've been exactly where you are and I can tell that with time and a little determination it will go away. It's a spell, and it's very hard to break it when you see the girl every day, but it's possible! Hang in there, and remember, don't stay home thinking about her! Go out there, join a club, start a new sport, whatever!

Alright. That's what I've been doing. I just have a really weird experience with friendzone which I guess has made me kind of paranoid about falling into it.

About two months as friends. And yeah, we go to parties together and alcohol is involved, but it's mostly in our own group environment so if I make a move I feel like it would be awkward that everyone knew about it since I'd be breaking the boundaries of what the group has been so far. (Or maybe I'm just being paranoid (?) )

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
