Mods, please do delete this post. I have her blocked for a reason. I want her to have her own space on Reddit.

That's my daughter. Please delete this. I'll DM you with proof if you want.

The engagement may be off. My daughter gave him back the ring. She said he's gone too far down the redpill manosphere rabbit hole for her. Demanding she be "submissive" and when she objected to that he changed to "fit and friendly." She didn't think that was any better. The redpill destroys relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:03 PM

Nah, it still happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/22 11:45 PM

Tell it to the women who stuck by their man while he struggled to get through school and land a well paying job only to have him leave her for his 19 year old secretary.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/22 11:08 PM

Why does she choose to let him stay at her place?

I married my last “sex on the first date” partner.

I’ve never had a problem finding dates or commitment. So I might be repulsive and repelling but I’m also adorable and lovable.

I hated OLD. I tried it for maybe 6 months but I wasn’t really meeting men I was into. Then I met my husband IRL. Much better just to meet people, get a feel for them socially and maybe date one of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 12:29 PM

When I got a promotion and raise I bought stuff we needed for the house and took us on a vacation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 07:40 AM

Being an asshole to people who never did you any harm is not “based”, it’s psychotic. So Red Pill, basically.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 03:30 AM

She could have done better than Meth Damon but I hope they are happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 03:27 AM

It’s still shitty to the actual human beings you are mistreating but I do realize RP does not consider women to be human.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 03:26 AM

No but I believe they take joy in punishing the women they date for the slights the high school cheerleader doled out when they were in their teens. They brag about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 02:54 AM

Pfft. Got you beat. I sort my husband’s life saving medications into his pill box for him weekly. He’s helpless.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 02:53 AM

We act like this sub gives bad advice but does it really?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 12:22 AM

I love a good sip and savor.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 12:10 AM

It would require walking half a block to the grocery store down the street.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 12:03 AM

I like the way you think. Also I’m home alone till 10 or 11, what else do I have to do?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 12:00 AM

Let’s say it’s 5 pm and you bought a bottle of wine at 2 and already finished it. Would you get a 2nd bottle on a Saturday night or figure you had your wine calories for the day? Asking for a friend. (Me! I’m your friend!)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 11:57 PM

Yay!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 11:45 PM

No, I can honestly say I haven’t been asked that, but probably people just assume I’ve had sex because of the kid and the husbands and all.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 10:41 PM

Get married.

This isn’t a “pussy pass.” This is using the laws of the state she is in to prove a political point.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 10:34 PM

Do people even ask about your sexual past outside of high school?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 10:33 PM

My husband is Mexican and probably the hottest man I've dated.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 08:17 PM

Is that what you call a chav? He looks like a chav.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 08:15 PM

Yes, it was very relatable and fun. Now I kind of want to re-watch it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 08:08 PM

Sex isn't the only way that you can care. However, when men talk about women not caring about men's issues, they usually mean we won't have sex with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 07:23 PM

It's a few years old now but it was good.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 07:23 PM

I don't pretend. I have men I care deeply about and I care about issues that impact them. That doesn't mean I want to deflower incels, mind you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 07:21 PM

That's very sad. She was a beautiful girl but apparently had demons.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 07:20 PM

The Judd Apatow series? I loved it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 07:19 PM

My next 2 “vacations” aren’t really vacations at all, they are familial obligations. Going to see my mom in August and my in-laws later on in the year. Oh well, I’ll enjoy the time off anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/22 05:57 PM

Not me, I only fuck people I already know.

Even when I'm lazy, I'm doing something (watching TV, reading, Redditing, napping). I just have a vision of a girl sitting in a chair in an empty room staring straight ahead.

Only if your goal is meaningless sex and not a loving relationship. Of course, as a red pill man, of course your goal is meaningless sex.

I do it because that’s where my friends go and I like hanging out with them? Also I’ve picked up a girl or two at the gay bars in my day, so it seems they are working as intended.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/22 12:52 AM
2

As a bi woman who generally goes to gay bars with other bi women, lesbians, and gay male friends, as long as the bar owners like taking my money I’m sure I’ll continue to go when invited out.

I didn't ask for child support because I knew he'd never pay it, but with Roe v. Wade overturned you dudes are going to have to start paying up.

Does sitting on my porch watching the neighborhood fireworks count?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 05:54 AM
1

Our state allows the “safe and sane” fireworks that mostly stay on the ground but it’s apparently pretty easy to get the illegal kind, based on what’s going on in the hood right now.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 05:35 AM
1

Honestly where I live, they probably don’t. Lots of Trumpers in the country.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 05:03 AM
2

My neighborhood is actually slightly less insane than previous years but still very loud and kaboomy.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 04:52 AM
3

I’ve never been a stay at home mom but I doubt it’s easy. Caillou alone would drive me to the ends of my sanity.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 04:50 AM
2

My neighborhood sounds like a war zone right now. Half these fireworks are illegal in this state. I’m sitting on my porch drinking wine, judging snarkily, and enjoying the show.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/22 04:47 AM

You don’t get menstrual leave. You get sick days that you might use for that, but there is no red tent.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 05:53 PM

Which explains why many women are averse to cold approaches.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 05:51 PM

Yeah but you basically have maybe 15 minutes of input. We have to carry it 9 months and then give birth to it over several hours. Then breastfeeding, for the women who choose to do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 05:38 PM

They don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 05:23 PM

As long as it took me to hook him up with a doctor, a good therapist and maybe have his meds adjusted.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 05:22 PM

Or a puppy!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 05:06 PM

It’s not so much that we create life but that we incubate a growing embryo/fetus inside of ourselves and give birth to it. Men do not.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 05:03 PM

My husband’s parents died before I ever met him (we met in 2013) and he still gets sad about it, and I still support him when he does.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 04:58 PM

A hot, strong, masculine man.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 04:48 PM

“Knowing” that you spin plates does not equal liking it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 04:47 PM

No. It’s with men who don’t actually like women and are just trying to score.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 04:45 PM

That’s an incorrect interpretation. Women would rather men pick us because they actually like us and not because they are carpetbombing the world with pickup techniques and taking whoever agrees.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/22 04:40 PM

I do, daily. But I also work from home and can spare a couple of hours a few times a month to watch a hearing.

Ooh, me! I've watched all the hearings.

I think it is a good thing. Kids need to be socialized. Not everyone is your gender, or race, or religion, or sexual orientation. Throughout your life you are going to run into all kinds of people.

His dream is to play music, which he does. And her financial backing and moral support is what allows him to do that.

Sacrifice all your hopes and dreams at 18 to marry a 40 year old man who has money. There, now you are a red pill woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 09:32 PM
1

Me too. There is nothing hotter than an attractive, masculine dude holding a tiny puppy or kitten. Ovaries exploding all over the place. Clean up on aisle 7.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 09:19 PM
3

Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 09:15 PM
7

I am at the golf club sitting at the driving range drinking a White Claw and perusing emails while my husband shoots a bucket of balls. I never want work from home to end.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 08:53 PM
15

There are definitely men’s issues I feel strongly about - 50% custody, domestic violence resources, circumcision, ending the draft to name a few. As far as MGTOW, that is their right. I’m not about to force anyone of either gender to be in a relationship when they don’t want to be. My only problem with MGTOW is that they often don’t and mainly use it as a venue for bitching about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 08:41 PM
12

Same. There is a kid who works at the grocery store that has model tier looks but I would never even consider him because he is younger than my own kid. (For those who think that my husband would be upset to hear me say another man is attractive - he himself pointed at this young man and said “he could be an actor.”)

I know where all the good wineries are!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 08:16 PM

I disagree that they will want men 20 years older. That’s like, my dad’s age. My husband is 7 years older and that is pushing the limits for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 08:11 PM
10

Men in their 40s are attractive to women in their 40s. Unfortunately those men want women in their 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 08:08 PM

Cheese and crackers.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 07:55 PM

Women tend to like men around their own age or slightly older.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 07:55 PM

Oh, there are certainly things they will say or do that will expose them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 06:42 PM

Too late. You’re tainted by associating with unrepentant cheaters.

Take a pic of you holding a puppy. Everyone likes puppies.

Red Pill men spin plates and brag about cheating on their partners by lying through omission. Blech.

It would depend on what pill he aligns with.

She decided to buy a house. She bought and paid for the house. That was okay with him. She decided to start a business. So she did. That was okay with him! Basically my mom is driven to succeed and my stepdad is more inclined toward his own projects (music, woodwork).
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 06:10 PM

They did the same to me! Had a mirror there and were encouraging me to watch. I was like “no thanks, I’m busy here.” And also, yuck.

My husband is from Guadalajara so there are strict rules in my home for what constitutes a real taco.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 05:07 PM
30

Not even then. They just want women to be “agreeable.”
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 04:36 PM

By 25 I had been living independently for 7 years. Of course I would want someone who was able to match the standards I held myself to.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 04:10 PM
7

Who doesn't like tacos? I don't drink beer. I don't watch the Office. I do travel. Going to the East Coast in August.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/22 04:08 PM
28

That's my mom. She started out sweeping floors at 15 and was VP by 30 and had her own business by 40. She's a costume designer and her designs have been featured in a few (low budget - think Hallmark Christmas type) movies. She also has a modest acting career in local theatre and commercials. She had cancer in her 50s and a stroke in her 60s but still goes to work every day. When she was in remission from cancer she celebrated by going skydiving. My stepdad kind of lets her do her thing and tags…

I loved Evil on Paramount+. The first couple of seasons are available on Amazon Prime. I also liked Why Women Kill, also on Prime. But only the first season - after that they want you to buy it.

Woman here to give my womanly perspective on all things woman. I like having money, I like that what I do makes me feel like I’m making a difference, and I like feeling like I have accomplished something at the end of the day. I also wanted to be a role model for my daughter and the other young women in my life, that you can do more than just pop out babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 09:28 PM

A real leader doesn’t need to insist others follow him - they just will.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 08:02 PM

No; I don’t like him because he says things like “the man should lead” and tries to get her to watch Kevin Samuels videos.

She’s mine, of course she is.

The wine is on top of the $20 dinner. You can get the chicken alfredo dish at Olive Garden for around $20. And I live in California. Lots of cute little cafes with patio seating.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 06:28 PM
3

My mom was liberal as hell and told me the same thing - focus on my education and career. I didn't listen and got married and divorced by age 25. I did eventually attain the education and career but it's a lot harder with a kid to take care of. Anyway 22 is young. You have lots of time to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 06:24 PM
2

Maiasaurus.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 06:21 PM
3

I've heard of people doing that but I have not. And I'm married now, so I just slap down the credit card and pay. We technically keep separate accounts but all the money ends up in mine since I pay our bills.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 05:17 PM
3

I usually offer to split. If I like him and he wants to get the bill, I offer to get after dinner drinks. If I don't like him, I pay my share and skedaddle.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 04:58 PM
2

If you go to a new restaurant or have something you haven't tried before, you can share it with all your friends through the magic of social media! I don't really do this but my husband has never had a bite of his food without taking 42 pictures of it first.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 04:39 PM

I do pay the rent.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 04:38 PM

You don't even know you're pregnant until 6-8 weeks in. So almost 2 months as it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 04:33 PM

No, a woman who cheats is just as bad as a man who cheats.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 04:32 PM
6

I’m orange, obviously. I’m orange because I’m not a big enough asshole to be red and not idealistic enough to be blue or self loathing enough to be black pilled. I’m here because I find the conversations interesting and and occasionally insane. It’s like watching a train wreck constantly in progress.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 03:25 PM
67

I don’t expect it and I prefer to pay my way so he doesn’t think he’s getting laid just because he bought me a $20 dinner and a glass of wine. And I absolutely will complain about gender based pay discrimination.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 03:08 PM
2

I don’t lie and I have paid for dates as a woman. Both 50/50 and picking up the tab alternately with a male partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 02:38 PM
21

Would you?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 03:25 AM
1

I’d rather be an attractive and rich woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 11:55 PM
2

A lot of them heard the phrase gaslighting somewhere and just apply it to anything a woman does that they don’t like.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 11:16 PM
5

I don’t mind admitting it. Being cheated on sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 11:10 PM

My ex was so convincing he had our therapist convinced I was being paranoid. TL:DR - he was cheating the whole time.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 10:12 PM

I think it would be devastating to most women as well. Yes, the emotional factor is worse but the physical betrayal is not insignificant.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 10:11 PM
1

I don’t mean he has to do anything incredible. She needs to feel comfortable and secure with him. If she doesn’t, the sex will not be on the table until she does. That can take a few hours at a club for some people or months for virgins, and anywhere in between for the rest.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 10:08 PM

I wouldn't have regretted the hook up. I had a kid still living at home and didn't want to date anyone at the time. It just turned out differently than I expected.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 06:34 PM

No. The wedding industry will never allow that. DeBeers needs to sell those diamonds.

I prefer the water Pokemon.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 05:57 PM

I'm not reframing. I asked the question. It was my question and I know what I meant when I asked it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 05:49 PM

Men think they should "lead" and often they are wrong. They simply are. And they don't like hearing that they are wrong. That's not lying to you - that's telling you the truth and you refusing to listen.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 05:40 PM
1

I care and so should you. I'm just saying, we aren't ready to turn back the calendar that far yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 05:37 PM
1

Not in my state we aren't.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 05:34 PM

It happens all the time. Men don’t like to be wrong and often refuse to listen until after something happens. Then they get mad at their partner for being right all along.

Platonic love absolutely exists. Most women are not going to care if you can get casual sex. If you said you wanted love and a relationship, you might get more sympathy. But you don’t. You want sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 12:00 AM
1

And that is an oversimplification that ignores the reality of male/female partnerships entirely.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:32 PM
1

No, you are looking at things through the eyes of an incel who wants everything “fair.” Well, things will never be “fair.” The fact is a married couple will be having sex. They just will. It’s not practical or realistic to say “just don’t have sex” to a man and a woman who are sleeping in the same bed every night.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 08:13 PM
3

That is what RP calls dating multiple women at the same time.

Yes they do. That is why they want harems.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:55 PM
19

How do you factor in men’s general desire for harems then? They don’t want to be desired by just one woman any more than you claim women want to be desired by one man. Which is also untrue by the way. I want to be the object of my husband’s desire, I don’t care about what other men think.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 07:01 PM

Actually that's not true. In many states a woman in need of an abortion due to life threatening need has to travel elsewhere.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 06:02 PM

I didn't say I would be miserable without it. I went without it many times in my life, often for years. What I said is that it is detrimental to married couples who wish to stay married to cut off sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 06:01 PM

Men aren't dying from sex. Or lack thereof.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:39 PM

You're comparing a married couple to an incel. They are different. Single people are celibate all the time. It's not an issue. A married couple who is not having sex is probably on the verge of divorce.

I can't see telling a married couple that they shouldn't have sex because in the unlikely event that she has pregnancy complications she might have to abort. My guess is they were actually trying for that baby and the complications that led to the abortion were a tragedy.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:32 PM

According to this, 46% of abortions occur in single women and 45% occur in women who are cohabitating and/or married. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/12/14/upshot/who-gets-abortions-in-america.html

It has nothing to do with hypergamy. Many couples decide TOGETHER that it is not a good time for them to have a child. Maybe they can't afford it. Maybe they already have a passel of kids. Maybe it's a bad time in their life for kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:06 PM

Men aren't going to die from lack of sex. Women are going to die from lack of abortion rights. From medical complications, but also from men who will kill them rather than have to pay child support.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:01 PM
8

Abortion IS healthcare. A woman who has an ectopic pregnancy, or whose baby died in utero, requires healthcare which includes terminating the pregnancy. Without it she can die.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:00 PM
5

Abortions are not just about casual sex. A lot of abortions occur within married couples who already have more kids than they can afford. Do you want married couples to stop having sex?

I don’t think that genie is going to be squeezed back into the bottle. As long as contraceptives and abortion pills are still readily available (and Merrick Garland says states can’t ban them), sex will still be frequent and often casual.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:56 PM

I’ve been in many such situations. RP likes to believe that women know within seconds if she wants to have sex with a man but it’s simply not true. Many women such as myself need time to get to know someone before there is attraction, and longer still before feelings are involved.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/22 04:48 PM
2

I have a number of them in my phone, but we were genuinely friends before, and in addition to, having had sex. I don’t hang out with them without my husband however.

The confidence comes from your own self worth. If you are successful at your career, or your hobby, or your sport, that confidence you feel from your accomplishments can carry through to your conversations with women. They don't know you've been unsuccessful romantically or ever been rejected. I'm assuming you're not leading with that information, or shouldn't be.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 09:51 PM
3

I think it's fairly true for me. My husband is not anyone I ever thought I would have fallen for - he's kinda the jock to my nerd. But our chemistry is amazing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 09:46 PM
1

But they usually pull that source out of their ass.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 09:43 PM

It's not entirely selfish, as generally a lot of couples make that decision together. Hell, a lot of women only get abortions in the first place because the man doesn't want the baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 09:12 PM

Happy birthday!
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:11 PM

Women already have to take accountability. They either need to abort (which is about to get increasingly difficult), give birth and keep it, or give birth and give it up for adoption. If they choose parenthood, they have signed on to taking care of a child for at least 18 years. Not to mention the wear and tear on the woman's body. Men are only asked to chip in financially and a lot of them won't even do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:11 PM
1

I don't want to see any women giving birth. The miracle of life, yes, but it's gross. And I say that as someone who gave birth.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:06 PM
2

Good for you. I would too, if I lived in a red state, but I left that mess a long time ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 06:05 PM

Why? Blow jobs don't give me sexual pleasure. Unless he's giving me increased oral, as well, no increase in blow jobs is anticipated.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:43 PM

Men already have financial abortion; a lot of them just refuse to pay for their kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 05:39 PM

Nah, there will still be blue states in the US that will allow abortion. My state is one of them.

I haven't done a survey. I suspect a lot of them already lived here. It's on the verge of farm country, where I live.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 04:34 PM

I didn't make good money in the 1990s when I had my kid. I do make good money now and my opinion hasn't changed. A man who is passionate about his work is attractive. A man who cares about kids and about making a difference is attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 04:34 PM

No. My first husband was a teacher and I loved that about him. Nothing makes your ovaries burst like a man who is good with kids. It makes you want him to put babies in you right away. Or at least practice at it.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 10:18 PM

That depends on the people we’re talking about here. Some people wait till the 3rd date. FDS says 3 months or something equally ridiculous to me. RP wants sex on the first date. Myself, I don’t have a hard and fast rule. I will have sex with someone when I am ready to and not a minute sooner. If he doesn’t want to wait, there are other men who will be willing to get to know me a little before hopping into bed.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 10:17 PM

I’m not saying stick around till she fucks you. I’m saying not everybody wants to hop into bed with you the minute you meet. Getting to know someone, talking to them, FLIRTING with them is equally important to just looking the part.

More so now that I am older, I think. Maybe because when I was younger and seeking a long term relationship. I don't have a fetish for bald men but I would absolutely allow Mike Colter to woo me.

A girlfriend of mine used to argue with her husband because he wouldn’t put any effort into the things that make her cum (oral, etc) and he would defend himself by saying “women don’t cum every time.” Well yeah, not with that attitude! They ended up divorced.

He needs a new hobby.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 02:43 PM

Not necessarily. I don’t like to share so I get possessive sometimes but I also like to keep the moral high ground so I would not cheat.

No. Most men are stronger than most women by default.

It’s too early for either.

Yes. There was a guy on Reddit spamming me with his dick for a while too until I asked him if he had seen a doctor about it. Then he stopped.

A woman having consensual sex with another adult is entirely different from someone (of either gender) who hurts children.

I disagree. My husband has expressed a range of emotions to me. Fear, anxiety, joy, worry, anger, love - there are a ton of ways a man can express himself to his partner.

2

Nobody said that.

Eh, I don’t have an adversarial relationship with my ex. We are good friends. Being a single mom wasn’t easy but she turned out great and I am proud of her and the job I did with her. As far as my husband, we met in our 40s when I was pretty much done with parenting. He never had kids. So our romance has been free of a lot of the troubles that parenting couples have.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 02:08 PM

I’ll show him the exact sympathy he showed me while I was carrying and bearing his child and he accused me of cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 02:02 PM

My trust in my partner and his in me, you mean. And he clearly thinks I’m cheating if he wants a paternity test,
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 01:59 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 06:25 AM

Well, by the time I became aware of my legitimate reasons it was too late. I was married with a kid. I kept the kid and left the marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 05:51 AM

I didn’t kick him out. I took the kid and left. But not because of a paternity test.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/22 05:40 AM

Pfft, I didn’t get child support for my first kid either, so that is not an incentive for me to continue a relationship lacking in trust.

16

Your wife would be your partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 11:52 PM
7

I wouldn’t say most people do. A breakup is awkward for the friends of a couple. It can cause fractures in the friends circle if you share a group. Although if your friends don’t like your partner, or if your partner’s friends don’t like you, they very well might feel smug about it if you broke up.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 10:26 PM
1

Who is he?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 10:16 PM

I don’t think that happens very often. And getting used for sex is not what most women want; they want a relationship.

I prefer “soulless ginger.”
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 09:12 PM

I had said it facetiously, but I do agree that the party in a relationship is the worse offender. Entering into a sexual relationship knowing that the other party is married/has a partner is still shitty though.

Just to give the goose the same as the gander, there are also those women who murder pregnant women so they can steal their babies. People are nuts.

Maybe you shouldn’t hit on taken women then.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:16 PM

I generally take it to mean I’ve won.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:12 PM

Men are no better, I’ve been told countless times I’m old, stupid, etc on here.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:08 PM
1

It’s for a lot of the same reasons that a woman is mostly likely to be murdered while she is pregnant.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:06 PM
2

Perhaps men should vet properly. Isn’t that what you guys say to women who find themselves with a cheater?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 08:04 PM
5

Sure, but I am not those women and if my husband questions my faithful marriage, he doesn’t trust me and may even be cheating himself. I’ll give him his test, sure. And he’d be happy with the results. But I also will begin questioning the relationship and I’d begin to not trust him.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:53 PM
3

That’s my point - if he doesn’t trust me while I am carrying and birthing his child what’s the point of the relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:41 PM
4

No, it’s your fostering of trust and fidelity issues. I don’t want to be with a husband who does not trust me and accuses me of cheating on him at the most vulnerable time of my adult life. If you can’t understand the difference I can’t help you .
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:13 PM
2

Yeah, if you don't trust me and think our baby is not yours, why would I want you there? You'd just make me upset.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 07:01 PM
3

Lol, I wouldn't refuse the test. I'd absolutely let him have the test as he was moving out so I could establish paternity and have evidence for the child support.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:58 PM
5

Better than in a 2 parent household where the mother resents the father and the father constantly thinks his wife is cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:58 PM
2

It's not ego, it's trust. Or lack thereof. You're basically telling me I'm on my own in the parenthood battle. That I'm going to spend 9 months on my own, and labor and delivery too, because I won't want you there, frankly. And why don't you trust me? It's going to make me assume you are cheating on me and are projecting.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:53 PM
3

Okay, but if she didn't would you even feel bad for insulting your wife? Probably not.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:16 PM
2

I have a 2-piece with boy shorts.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:10 PM
4

Because you accused me of cheating, as I've already stated. I don't want to be with someone who doesn't trust me. If we were casual or non-exclusive I would no qualms about it though, just if we were married/living together.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:06 PM
5

Sure. And you can get your 50% joint custody and get out of my house.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:03 PM
8

How the hell are you inseminated without your knowledge?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:01 PM
2

How would you know? I was beaten up in middle school. My daughter was pushed down a flight of stairs by a boy in high school.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 06:00 PM
3

I absolutely see situations where it would be sensible to get a paternity test. If my husband asked for one, however, it would ruin our marriage because it's an indication he believes I cheated on him. I only ever had the one kid however, and she looks just like her dad.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:59 PM
7

Demanding a paternity test is accusing your partner of cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:55 PM
8

No they don't. They give conflicting advice to women. "It's important for women to have a low N count" AND "Women who don't put out on the first date don't find you attractive enough."
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:53 PM
27

No, but I also wouldn't be content with a man who was incapable of loving, tender sex. I need passion but I also need love and tenderness.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:51 PM
2

What makes you think she didn't also face bullying?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:50 PM
17

It should be a little of both. One of the things my husband does that is effective during a wild sex romp is to suddenly slow down, use gentle strokes, caress my face (or my ass if we're doing doggy), say something loving, and then pick up the speed again.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:39 PM
4

My kid spent her teens in her room Tumblring and playing Kingdom Hearts. She didn't date till she was in her 20s, so I agree with you 100%.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:14 PM
2

I get downvoted when I say that. I'll probably get downvoted for saying this.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 05:07 PM
7

Absolutely. You can have a healthy and happy sex life and still not be in the mood from time to time. Maybe you are tired, stressed or have explosive diarrhea. A good partner will understand that you aren’t being mean but just need a short break.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/22 03:08 AM
2

I don’t even want my own family involved in my relationship, let alone my partner’s. Obviously you’re going to be social with your partner’s family on occasions but having them there 24/7 would make me want to nope out of there. Even next door is too close.

I don’t know why your comments are dense. Perhaps it’s genetic.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 01:20 PM

You mean you think they weaponize sex. No, dude. Sex is supposed to be enjoyable for both parties. If she’s sick, hurt, just had a baby, is stressed out or exhausted, she will probably not be in the mood or physically can’t have sex right now. If you’ve been arguing, she’s not going to want to have sex (though some women do like angry sex). Sometimes my husband doesn’t want sex because he worked late or pulled something at the gym - I don’t accuse him of weaponizing sex, I TALK to him and we get…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 01:17 PM

I miss getting love notes. Emojis are efficient but it’s just not the same.

I’m not talking poetry and flowers and chocolates. Just make time for each other - a date, a walk, cuddling on the couch watching a favorite show. Love each other. Be affectionate. Don’t treat your spouse the way you would a booty call.

We’ve done it before. It just isn’t something either of us need to have. But we’re older and have been together a long time.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 01:04 PM

I’m 50. Going to the gym is not going to help my jaw from hurting. I suggest you go to town on a few penises and then tell me just how easy it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:55 PM
4

I only tell him no during period week and even then there are other things we can do. But he treats me right outside of the bedroom so it’s easy to desire him in the bedroom. Affection, flirting, smacking my ass when I am within reach, etc. He doesn’t ignore me all day and then expect me to be raring to go at night.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:53 PM

How the hell is the gym going to help me with TMJ? Do you even listen to yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:41 PM

Oh, I got rid of those men and found a man who actually knows what he is doing and enjoys a woman’s pleasure as much as his own. Surprisingly hard to find, really.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:40 PM
2

Given a lot of blow jobs have you? They aren’t easy. They hurt your jaw, your throat and your neck.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:39 PM
6

How do you know you’re a good lover? I can’t speak for other women but I’ve personally given too many blow jobs to agree with you that women are lazy in bed. Meanwhile my “return on investment” is probably less than half so I could contend that men are much lazier than women at least when it comes to oral.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:35 PM
3

That’s okay. He’s more annoying than dangerous. But he doesn’t know where I live at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:29 PM

If you want your girl to want to fuck, you should at least attempt to make it satisfying for her. Women don’t get turned on like men do, they have more reactive sexuality. So turn her on. It’s not hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:27 PM
2

Because they want sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:21 PM

We’re in our 50s, been together 9 years, and have sex 2-3 a week or more unless it’s shark week. I don’t know what about you makes your girlfriends lose interest in sex with you, but perhaps you could try courting, teasing each other sexually throughout the day, or foreplay.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/22 12:20 PM

I don’t know about social status but my husband makes less than me by about 1/3. I love him and respect him just fine. I’m not fussed about how much someone makes as long as they have their own money and don’t constantly have their hand in my pocket.

I didn't open with that because I was thinking on a broader scale of why such a system would be impractical for most. Men do have this crazy notion which they mention here a lot that women want to "share" top men. For some reason it's unfathomable to them that women may not want to share, at all. I think that for the men they hope to be that man and get all the women, but most women just want someone to love and build a life with, not be part of a harem.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 02:28 PM
1

Yeah, it's perfect for men who don't believe in love or relationships and just want to get off.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 02:23 PM

I still would not be interested in sharing my man's time and body with another woman. I'm selfish that way.

Lol no. A man can render himself unattractive merely by opening his mouth and saying something offensive.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 01:20 PM

Most people don't want to live with their parents in the US after a certain age. Can't really bring your sugar baby home to meet Mom and Dad.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 01:18 PM

Yes. It takes me a good 10-15 minutes after I wake up before I can see what is on my phone without reading glasses.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 01:05 PM
2

He’s attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 01:02 PM
2

I live in the US. I don’t believe that “most” men can afford to sugar or hire prostitutes on a regular basis. Many men are struggling just to keep above water financially. If it comes down to filling the gas tank or hiring a hooker, I’m guessing most are going pass on the hooker.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 12:59 PM
3

You are not going to receive love from sugaring or prostitution. You are not going to get genuine desire from sugaring or prostitution. Many sugar babies don’t have sex at all and prostitutes generally will not let you kiss them. And unlike a real relationship, if you don’t have the money, they just won’t have anything to do with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 12:46 PM
2

It’s less “skills” and more “enthusiasm”. If you have one girl who is enthusiastically giving you her all every night and one who is loathe to give you anything at all, some men prefer the former.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 12:42 PM

I sincerely hope that young women are having the times of their lives socializing, dating, and enjoying themselves rather than post on this sub.

She may or not be here already. I have her blocked. I ran into her a couple of times accidentally (could tell because of pics she posted on a local sub) and I am affording her privacy to Reddit as she pleases without worrying about what her mother will think.

Yeah. I’m old enough to be a number of people’s mothers on PPD. And I’m not even the oldest person here.

I might defend her if the other commenter made some unnecessarily rude remark as was done here - not about her opinions on PPD issues because that is to be expected, but an uncalled for comment about some personal anecdote from her life.

I read erotica and imagine myself in the scenarios I am reading. I don't have a specific man I envision in those scenarios, though I'm certain he has dark hair and eyes, is fit but not muscular, but is otherwise nondescript to the point of facelessness.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 07:15 PM
1

Yes, but the comment I was responding to was not yours. The person said that women lie and won't tell you straight up that they are looking for superior genetics. No, that's not the way women think. They want someone they are attracted to, which I assume men do too.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:57 PM
19

Many people have "the one that got away." It's not uncommon though I think the phrase "alpha widowed" is absurd. Most people do eventually move on and find someone new to be happy with. Some get hung up forever, like my dad who is still in love with my mother 40-odd years after their divorce.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:40 PM
1

Lol no.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:30 PM
2

Women aren't generally thinking about superior genetics when they meet a man. They just know if they find him attractive or not. And they don't generally use a 1-10 scale like men do or like is done on PPD. It's more a "yes, no, maybe" scale.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 05:27 PM

Men: "Women should have low N counts." Also men: "Women are insanely picky." Me: "Yeah, that's a feature, not a bug."

I'm not a good example because my hookups were with people I already knew and the conversations were personal and nostalgic, and generally involved copious amounts of alcohol which for your own safety I cannot advise. You want a consensual hookup, not a date rape situation. My husband got first date sex which I assumed was going to be just a hookup at first. He managed it by putting in the work of getting to know me over a few months and us escalating the flirtation over time. I assume you want …
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 04:21 PM
2

Make me feel like we have a lot in common, make me feel like you care about my comfort and safety. We can bond over our favorite movies, books, TV shows, music - doesn't matter, just find stuff in common with me. Be funny. Be flirty, not necessarily sexual but sensual. Eye contact and a sexy smile help too.

I have literally never thought this. I know my strengths and I know my shortcomings. I've had years of singledom, but I never really thought about or needed to wonder why people don't want me. I know very well I'm an acquired taste.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 08:26 PM

I also work from home and it’s cyclical for me. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays are my busiest days because those are report days. When the Legislature is on recess we are pretty dead; when the Legislature is working, it gets close to frantic. December is almost like a month off.

Well, women tend to like men around their own age, for one. And we gravitate toward the people in our social circle. I guess those are the people I have been exposed to at the various times in my life.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:30 PM

My tastes definitely have changed. In high school I liked long haired heavy metal boys. In college I liked long haired college radio guys. Around 30 I liked other young urban professionals. Now at 50 I like men with beards and tats.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:12 PM

You mean like when RP calls child support “divorce rape?” Yeah I think it’s tacky and awful but not violent. Encouraging men to rape women may be considered violent. Or racists calling for lynching African Americans would be considered violent.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:08 PM

And it’s my right to say, I am just quoting you guys back to you so if that’s sexist, I learned it from you.

3

No you aren’t. Embryos aren’t children.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:05 PM

I'm not. I was using an oft-quoted cliche. Not every man is going to want to fuck every woman, but enough men will want to fuck opportunistically that women become jaded to it before they even get out of high school.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 03:44 PM

Absolutely.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 03:42 PM

Like, meth?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 03:41 PM

How would the teacher even know that though? It's not like it's "RuPaul's Drag Race and Sex Offender Show." I took my teen to Drag Queen Bingo and she loved it. We had a good time. I did not look up each drag queen's criminal background before hand. They don't exactly use their real names on stage.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 03:41 PM

You aren't paying for the woman. You're paying for the care of the child. The way to discourage single motherhood is through comprehensive sex education, not starving babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 03:06 PM

Send that bitch a smiley face.

No, I don’t believe in them considering that the Supreme Court’s opinion is going to make abortion difficult for for women. So now they won’t be able to get an abortion AND the father can refuse to pay child support too?

What the hell is wrong with your friend?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 05:56 PM

That’s hyperbole. They’re just saying a man can hide facial flaws with a beard (and IMO gain points in hotness) the way women do with makeup.

Kegels!

No they aren't. That's inkwell fantasy. 30% of men allegedly aren't getting sex, not 90%.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 04:44 PM

Plenty of men are having lots of sex in their 20s. Everyone I had sex with in my 20s was also in his 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 04:16 PM
1

Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 04:10 PM
2

I had casual sex with men I had known for decades and was feeling affectionate toward at the moment. They weren't Chads and there was no real spark. I don't think most men want to wait 10-20 years to sleep with a woman, though. And I did have first date sex with my husband but I'd already known him several months. So he put in the emotional work before even asking me on the date.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:45 PM
2

I don't see how watching the equivalent of softcore porn makes me more informed. I'm perfectly familiar with the mechanics of sex and I don't need an OnlyFans, thanks.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 03:13 PM
2

You know you can unfollow social media that you don't like? My social media isn't really sexual at all. It's all friends, family and critters. You see what you want to see - so I guess in your case, it's sexual so you can come here and rant about it later. A similar rant for me would be "why do so many people own French bulldogs" because that's half of what I see on my social media.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 02:55 PM

When women talk about a "real man" it's just a man that she admires or respects and/or would be willing to date. It won't necessarily be the same man for every woman either.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 02:50 PM

It was okay for me. I found myself single in my mid to late 30s and started dating again at 41. I was just looking for casual at first but I did hope to eventually find someone, which I did. Lots of divorced men, single fathers and younger men looking for cougars. I met my partner after about a year of being back on the market.

Show me evidence that most married men are miserable. But I don’t want to convince you. It’s better for women if you don’t marry them, if you’re red pill.

Married men are happier and live longer than single men. There is lots of evidence for this.

I had other options. Two of them are still doing what I suppose you would call orbiting. One is 10 years younger than me. I am not interested. I know you love your revenge fantasies but there are plenty of single and divorced men for 40 year old women. My mother in law remarried in her 70s and went on a world tour with her new husband.

Lol, no. I wasn’t desperate. I was already previously married and my daughter was in her late teens. I just wanted NSA sex and he seemed like a reasonable candidate that I wouldn’t have to get attached to. Then I got attached.

Getting an education and earning a living. Maybe not getting a lot of attention from men but having a reasonably active social life with a small but tight group of friends. You’re not a party girl and you aren’t on Tinder.

If she stands you up frequently, is slow to answer texts or only texts back after the bars close, if she talks about an ex a lot, if she has a “friend” that she assures you is platonic but he’s with her all the time, if she shuts down conversations that get too personal, if she doesn’t want you to meet her friends and/or family.

Not everybody wants your sister’s life. I would be miserable as a stay home mom. And no, you can’t be young and average looking. You have to be 30 and overweight.

It’s not a need in the sense that you will die without it. Plenty of couples of a certain age have long stopped having sex but are still in love. That said, sex is enough of imperative that a relationship without it is a dealbreaker for most.

For me, I was single, hadn't had sex in 4 years, and didn't want to be in a relationship because I had a teenage girl at home and didn't want to make her last few years with me awkward. So I had a few hookups with men that I knew and were close with but not likely to get into relationships with - a friend's brother, another friend's baby daddy, my godson's dad. It fulfilled the need for sex and it ticked the emotional investment box without having to commit or see them more than a few times. I w…

My opinion is that it's nobody's business but the couple's. Maybe he LIKES that his woman gets sexual attention. Maybe it makes him feel like a stud to have a girl that everybody else wants. I had a friend who was a cam girl back in the 90s and her husband did the filming. They both liked the extra money she brought in. She didn't consider it porn, she thought it was artistic.

My former brother in law got full custody of my nephews because my sister gave up custody so she could move to Europe with her new husband. One of my male bffs has full custody of his 2 boys for the same reason - his wife left him for another man and moved out of state. The fathers got child support in both of those cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 05:51 PM

My dad lived down the street so we saw him all the time. He didn't pay child support because my mom didn't ask for it because she knew he'd never be reliable at paying it, and she didn't really need it. She didn't try to stop him from seeing us though. He just showed up to do the fun stuff - vacations, circuses, carnivals and the like. And he bought the showy Christmas and birthday presents while she bought us more the stuff we needed like clothes.

My ex-husband didn't want custody. My dad didn't want it. Kids take money and time and it's hard to party and date when you have to worry about taking care of them. But the other poster is right - when men fight for custody, they are likely to get it. At least 50/50, and often full custody.

More women than men get college degrees these days so the pay gap will probably start to close naturally. A lot of women earn more than their spouse these days and that number is just going to grow. And it's nigh impossible to raise a family on one wage these days so chances are both parents will be working. Fortunately telework has gotten popular the last few years which has been great for a lot of working parents. I don't have kids at home anymore but I'm still working from home indefinitely.

My friend has had so many surgeries and problems with hers that I would never consider it. Not that I need it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 06:19 PM

Better for your penis than for your money, yes?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 02:55 PM
2

Aw. Couldn’t we make an exception for an old retired slut?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 02:46 PM
4

All those Congress critters have mistresses.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 02:24 PM

That’s going to depend entirely on the guy, the girl, and the situation.

Mine’s the Imperial March.

My husband and I were FWBs and we agreed to be exclusive but it was just supposed to be for that summer.

I used to take my daughter to Drag Queen Bingo night but she was in her teens. Then they made it 21 and over so we couldn’t go anymore.

I would be sad but I understand, with the caveat that it be done in a civil fashion without name calling and accusations.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 04:24 AM

It’s sad that the world’s moved on from love poems to eggplant emojis.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 04:14 AM

Yes, but I choose not to.

Unless you are talking about the crackers.

When I was dating in high school and college I would exchange handwritten notes and letters with the object of my affection. Sometimes 8-10 pages long. My last LTR before this one, we exchanged daily emails. Now I am married and in this relationship it’s never not been texting and emojis. If intellect has not gone downhill, communication certainly has.

Sounds fun to me.

I know 2 couples that got divorced during Covid. Both had problems long before Covid was on the radar but the extra stress and enforced closeness pushed them over the edge, I guess.

Only about 10% of divorces result in alimony.

My mom's third marriage is still going strong, 40 years later!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 03:26 PM
2

My parents' divorce was probably a combination of 1, 2, 3 and 4. It was my mom's second marriage - she married her high school sweetheart who was stationed in Germany but who turned out to be abusive, so she left him and went back to the States. My dad was a traveling musician and had a grand old time on the road, with all that scenario entails (alcohol, drugs, groupies). My mom sometimes worked 12 hour days to keep us all afloat - she would take us to work with her or shuffle us off to the gran…

That’s how it seems. One of the reasons people settle down with a partner is so they don’t have to go through all that dating rigamarole, they can just stay home and cuddle on the couch.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 06:20 AM

Sure I am. I’m all about voting and eliminating the wage gap and lactation rooms in the work place.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 06:10 AM

10 years. He was younger. I was 40. I felt a little like his mother. Mr. Paisley is 7 years older. It’s a much better fit. Our biggest differences are musical.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 05:45 AM

I went off to college and he stayed in our home town.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 05:37 AM

He just hasn’t met the right 19-year old swimsuit model yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 05:10 AM

It was spontaneous, sort of, but there had been like 6 months of intense build up.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 05:08 AM

I don’t wear makeup unless I am going to a work function or a party. My daily look is just toner, serum, moisturizer and sunblock. Maybe some chapstick. Not wearing makeup has never hindered my dating life. When I do wear makeup I rock it, but I don’t notice discernibly more attention from when I don’t. I still get carded from time to time without makeup at 50. Those people are insane or looking for higher tips, I think, but it’s a nice ego boost.

I call it a white wine spritzer and yes. Time for another.

My partner is 57 and has significant health problems and we still have sex 3-4 times a week. Sometimes more.

No, those are the coke and Molly girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 11:25 PM

I’m sorry, that does sound difficult.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 11:07 PM

You called?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 11:06 PM
-2

Not all of you.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 10:38 PM

I would say that depends on her schedule and when you text her. If you text her at midnight don’t be outraged if she doesn’t text her back right away. She’s probably asleep.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 10:35 PM

My last quick lay turned into a relationship that’s going on 10 years.

He said it was far too detailed and as the tattoo aged it would look bad.

I have an Alice tattoo, but it’s only Disney because the artist wouldn’t do the Tenniel drawing I wanted.

No, doofus, I talk to them.

Not having sex with you isn’t treating you badly.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 09:10 PM

I like tattoos as long as they aren’t crude or poorly done. Or something tacky and awful.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 08:59 PM
3

Because I like to get to know people before I sleep with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 08:01 PM
1

But that cuts them off from other options.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:59 PM
4

One of them literally worked for Planned Parenthood.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:59 PM

Feminist men give the best oral. Non-feminist men don’t bother to learn about the clitoris.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:56 PM
4

Because men want sex more than they want relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:54 PM
3

She’s a miserable hag because other people were cruel to her? Well, sounds like maybe she has had reasons to be miserable.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:53 PM

All of the men I’ve slept with considered themselves feminists.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:51 PM

You mean when attractive women do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:47 PM
1

Better working conditions is not “avoiding responsibility.” It’s keeping employers from exploiting their workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:46 PM
1

Better conditions for working people, the right to responsibly choose not to have a kid if you don’t want or can’t afford to, that sort of thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:31 PM
4

If he requires submission he’d better be talking about in the bedroom. Otherwise nah.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 07:06 PM

It isn’t true.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:55 PM
3

That’s hyperbolic and untrue.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:42 PM
2

You’re welcome!
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:42 PM

I don’t have any awards to give so take this hedgehog 🦔
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:35 PM

No it isn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:20 PM

Years of watching Investigation Discovery and Intervention have shown me that a 50 year old man making $30k can get with a 25 year old girl if he dates poor trailer trash and doesn’t mind feeding her meth habit.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:17 PM

I mean, a whole tenet of RP is that women are children, which is not respectful.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:15 PM
5

They don’t respect women in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:14 PM

The Rock.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:13 PM
2

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:07 PM
2

Attraction isn’t always instant. Sometimes you can have people in your life that you didn’t notice at first but as you get to know them better they are very appealing. Other people hit you like a ton of bricks when you meet them, but that feeling can die just as quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 06:05 PM
2

I can’t say for sure. A yes and a maybe are both going to have to wait until I am comfortable with them, but how long that takes depends on other factors besides just what they look like. Like, I had sex with my husband on the first date, but we already knew each other for a few months so there was no real reason to wait. First date sex is not something I would be likely to with, say, a Tinder date, because I don’t know that person at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:58 PM
2

This is the way.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:49 PM
1

For me it will depend on which one I get on with best or the one with the most in common. Barring that, the one with better musical taste.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:48 PM
2

My husband had a dream like that about me last week. I told him it’s his own insecurities resolving themselves while he sleeps.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:45 PM
2

You can’t get a 2 bedroom apartment where I live for $1700, let alone a house.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:43 PM
1

Eye contact and body language.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:40 PM
1

Cooking him dinner every day is cold hearted? Well, you haven’t tasted my cooking so that’s fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:37 PM
1

If he can golf, lift, hike, and play soccer most days of the week, and smoke cigarettes several times a day, 10 minutes of washing dishes is negligible.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:24 PM
4

I have 3 ratings only: “yes,” maybe”, and “no.” No amount of working for it will turn a no into a maybe or a yes. A maybe might get it but it’s more about familiarity than effort. A yes can turn into a no very quickly if he opens his mouth and something stupid comes out.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:21 PM
1

Because I hate doing the dishes.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:13 PM
3

He wasn’t particularly ugly, if you take away the crazed hermit beard. He was definitely mentally ill and the trauma he suffered during those college experiments didn’t help.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:12 PM
5

Me too. If I’m not attracted to him, there isn’t one.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:06 PM
3

I prefer invisibility, but I’m an introvert with social anxiety.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 05:03 PM
2

His arms are longer and besides, 99% of the time I cooked. He only has to wash dishes every other day (we take turns) which I think is more than fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 04:58 PM
5

If I’m not attracted to him it doesn’t matter how hard he works for it, he’s going to stay in the friend zone. Maybe even the passing acquaintance zone.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 04:55 PM
5

And thar’s not bad!
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 04:54 PM

Okay first of all that’s MGTOW not incel.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 04:30 PM

My husband is circumcised and pro-circumcision. I’m more or less against it but I’ve also never had to make the choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 04:18 PM
1

No. I need to keep working for my sanity and to keep my pension.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 04:16 PM

Daily Circle Jerk.

The Unibomber was a virgin.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 03:58 PM

Everyone likes being desired. There’s more to being turned on than just being desired though. For one, you have to desire him back. For two, at least for me, the flirting, touching, kissing, the buildup to sex is what turns me on, more so even than the actual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 03:53 PM

I feel like it’s a bad idea but people are already using DNA kits on their own for fun. The Golden State Killer and others were apprehended because of these kits. I wouldn’t be surprised if a government registry of some sort probably already exists, we just don’t know about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 03:41 PM

Religion.

I’m 50 years old and I can think of 3 guys who would probably pop on over if I texted them for a booty call. That doesn’t mean anything at all to me and I am not interested. But perhaps that is what she means. There’s thirsty guys in any friends circle.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 03:31 PM

Most of us don’t view men as something to exploit no matter how hot he is. And I might find certain men hot (hello, husband), but “adoration” is a little over the top for a relationship. I’m happy with mutual love and respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 03:22 PM
2

That’s….not a justification for rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 03:09 PM
3

So rape is okay if you know the dude?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 03:00 PM

🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 02:44 PM

I thought as single women get older they get desperate and will settle for a beta so she can have kids and divorce rape him later. You guys need to get your stories straight.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 02:37 PM
23

The men on this sub generally claim that a woman’s education and money don’t matter - they just want her to be pretty and not fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 02:34 PM
9

3-ish, but if you don’t offer a helping hand or empathy to anyone regardless of gender you’re kind of an asshole.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 02:24 PM
4

Not really. I have been watching my younger cousins, and some of my older cousins’ kids, get engaged or married and starting families: My nephew. My daughter. They are just doing it a little older than my generation did, but not dramatically so:
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 02:17 PM
2

I think I’m A-ish. Like an A minus.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 02:53 AM

He’s hot and that is a perfectly respectable height.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 01:08 AM

Yes!
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 12:58 AM

Most women are themselves not wealthy and aren’t expecting their man to be either. A lot of us work and just want someone to split the bills with, not to pay them for us.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 12:57 AM
1

Would you give up 6 inches then? And where?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/22 12:55 AM
1

Moulin Rouge, Princess Bride, and I don’t know I don’t watch a lot of romances. Edit: I wouldn’t put it on my list but would Natural Born Killers count as a romance?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 10:08 PM
2

Yes, thar’s basically what I said you would say, as a PPD man.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 09:43 PM
1

I know this - men here will insist that we are wrong. Or lying.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 08:59 PM
3

I agree, but I envision responses babbling about the “halo effect.”
