I read that book when I was married. And as I read it, I started to realize that everything they were describing is something that my ex used to do. | 1 | Wife wants a second child and I don’t. She threatened divorce over this. And this weeks episode we’re going to talk about things that you should’ve discussed before you got married. You are smart. Your wife is emotionally immature. I would not want an emotionally immature person raising my children. I can understand why you don’t want to bring another baby into this situation. Children need and happy loving families. If you are exhausted and can’t be the best version of yourself you cannot be the best dad possible. Based on your post, it seems like you want to be a g… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 12:56 PM |
Relationships seem like a boring & annoying waste of time now.Marriage isn’t stressful. Married to the wrong person is stressful. You’re a man. You’re not meant to you cut yourself off from feminine energy. I think a lot of feminine energy is expressed fully when they feel safe in a relationship. I’m not saying you need to find a woman now or anytime soon. But don’t cut yourself off and the possibility of it completely. It’s normal to feel this way after a divorce. I think this is the perfect time to use this energy to become the best version of yourself. … | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 12:52 PM
My libido is alive again and I'm struggling to stay logical. My favorite websites Private Delights and Eros. I love escorts and strippers and I occasionally use Sextpanther.com or strip clubs I tried dating apps , but the women are there were bottom feeders at best ,crazy at worst. And I found it hard to respect a woman who would get on a dating app and fuck me after only normal ones. I couldn’t even let her give me oral sex because I was afraid she did. That was literally every single guy. As crazy as it sounds, I prefer paid hoes. I go for the high-end … | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 12:50 PM
Why is cheating/adultery not a crime? It’s not because you cannot force a human being to be your slave. Sometimes people are trapped in marriages because they are afraid to leave or because they literally cannot for finances are some other reason. But that doesn’t mean that they aren’t human don’t have desires Take a shot for everybody you have who is still in a loveless marriage because they have a child. I’ve had some friends go out and find some side pieces, mostly with escorts… But their wife wasn’t for filling her side of the m… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 12:39 PM
Small recording devices that upload to cloudLiterally, just go to Amazon and type those descriptive words in. But make sure you’re in a state that allows to a recording. Otherwise it could be illegal. And you probably don’t want to add more legal battles to your already impending divorce. I’ve heard of guys try to use recording devices in court to show that their spouse was crazy but unfortunately that evidence had to be thrown out because it wasn’t a state that allowed recording of another persons like this without their consent | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 12:36 PM
What would you have done?My sister is an interior designer. After I got divorced, she came over and completely re-decorated in a style that was still classy and soon as my style, but it also made my new house feel like a home . Getting a divorce does not mean you can live like you did in college. Part of the reason it’s hard to move out of the house because there is a level of comfort. Your couch have the perfect improving it for your body. There’s a certain scent when you walk in the door and it feels Homie. But all of… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 12:36 PM
Another Rough DayPart of it is your fault. You need to except that. Even in situations of some thing like infidelity often times it’s because we overlooked the red flags of that person or because we did not give that person the validation they needed to feel loved. I’m not saying that’s your example. But I think one of the biggest things with divorce is being able to digest the fact that you’ve definitely played a part in it no matter how good of a person you are. The next thing I have to say is that therapy is … | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 12:31 PM
Reminder: Wait at least one year after Divorce before dating.I read your post. It sounded like something I would write. The first relationship out of a marriage does not have to be shit. If you have a good one, he can teach you how to be emotionally healthy. I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos. And one guy on the diary of a CEO was talking about how if you can be attached to someone with a secure attachment style you can learn a lot emotionally. I never realized all the things are required in a relationship until I met this most recent girl. One of… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 12:26 PM
Reminder: Wait at least one year after Divorce before dating. Thanks for saying this . This post is great. But it does seem to be very biased because timelines are arbitrary. I think the checklist is the right approach. Six months out of a divorce that slowly begin to fizzle out. I think you can date as long as you are seeking out, emotionally, healthy partners. But that’s the caveat when it comes to divorce. Often times we were in relationships with people who are not emotionally healthy for us so we have no idea how to find a good partner. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/23 12:14 PM
