Men do face high rates of violence, but most of it comes from other men. Women, on the other hand, experience much higher rates of sexual violence, domestic abuse, and gender-based violence. It is not to segregate genders or whatever you think. It is to keep women safe, countries with women-only train have those because women are unsafe. For example, in japan, there's even a word "chikan" for sexual harassament, usually groping , in public spaces like trains. So for women to be safer there are women-only trains. You might be like oh I wouldn't harass a woman that's bullshit, but that's not how many men think.

They exist for a reason. There is a japanese word, "chikan" it specifically refers to unwanted sexual touching, often in public places like trains. There are women-only train cars in Japan to help prevent chikan incidents.
