I know it sounds that way. She’s actually a very lovely person. I’m not sure where I stand on my belief in that honestly

Thanks. Given her extreme exit and complete lack of communication ever since I’m gonna go with it’s completely over. So now it’s about moving forward. Honestly, I think one of the hardest things is going to be meeting somebody who I felt the same spark with as her not sure if I need to adjust my expectations

I did for about 4 or 5 months. Usually about 4-6 a day. Prior to the split I hadn’t drank in years. Cut back in July then completely stopped a few weeks ago and I feel a million times better physically and mentally. Not worth it.

I didn’t know what was happening and thought we just weren’t meant to be if I was having those feelings. Dealt with it in therapy and learned what happened. Biggest regret of my life. I lost my best friend, my dogs and my house. I’m now renting my folks basement trying to save for a new house. Doing ok. Enjoying work and friends but man do I miss my old life. I don’t think I’ll ever fi…

Sorry for your experience. 34m here and 5 months into mine. I find the same thing. At first I was having a few drinks at night but that just left me feeling worse. I try to just read or watch tv now or work on little projects. It still hurts a lot but at least I’m not doing bad things to my body and mind.

Thanks. I feel pathologically hopeful that maybe there can be reconciliation down the road but probably not

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
