Simply? You can just push back against the general narrative that "men are bad, women are angels". Also push back against the gender pay gap myth and the narrative that women were historically oppressed by men and somehow still are. It helps that this stuff isn't just automatically accepted as true by everyone in every conversation.

Do not back down from this. If you do not stop "Kate" here she will suffocate you as time goes on. You have a recording of the review, you have the other team member who hate her. Ah, I guess its bound to happen. I haven't watched them all, but only a random set. The point wasn't to say it could never happen but rather that it is so consistently true that the guy carries the girl or tries anyway and then she quits regardless. watched one the other day where the girl was actually supportive and humble and actually useful~! and they both made it through. It is still skewed heavily towards the script I laid out in the OP
