My MIL is also crazy and my husband has a strong spine. We were also super young when we got together and for the first year of our marriage she tried really hard to get in-between us. I’ve always had the attitude of that’s your mom you handle it, but I also didn’t take disrespect. I knew that at the end of the day, his relationship with his mom was his, but that I would not be comfortable going around her, having grand babies around her, etc. I didn’t really encourage a relationship with them e…

Take it up with the lady that left the comment. I didn’t say you were a man lol.

They aren’t for me typically.

Maybe the OP, but there are men that frequent this sub that are clearly men.

I’m not complaining, just offering up why someone might feel the way they do.

Personally, I don’t listen to any known men on RPW because I’m not wanting to know how to be their personal perfect wife. I believe men come in a variety and they can’t speak for all men. I’m however interested in listening to women share how they navigate life and utilize RPW tools for their own relationships. So I get where she’s coming from.

It just rubs some people the wrong way if men are preaching about how women should behave. It would probably be equally as weird if women went to male spaces and preached at them for how they should behave.

If you don’t want to leave the marriage physically, leave it mentally. He doesn’t care about your needs or feelings after all these discussions, crying, anger, etc? Stop caring for his. He continues to discontinue your needs because it’s easy for him, you don’t make it hard. You’re still there for him at his beck and call. Stop that. You say your existence is your husband and kids? Stop that, find yourself. Go get a part time job if possible, get a degree if possible, find some hobbies, build a …

How do you feel about that

That’s pretty much me too. I also don’t like being told I’m sexy.

that’s just how he perceived me. I think a lot about how people perceive you isn’t really something you can control. You can try to an extent, but each person might perceive you differently.

I think sexy between husband and Wife is beautiful. Sexy outside of that, not so much. It feels very objectifying especially when it’s a group of men or random men seeing you as such. Even if they don’t treat you like an object.

So attractive to me, is less about straight up sex appeal and more so can encompass sexy, cute, beautiful, into one word - desirable. Basically not ugly. Sexy, is the aura, the vibe, or the aesthetic. It’s straight up sex appeal. Since if it’s a stranger, it’s mostly going to be physical but if you get to know someone, it can also be the aura and vibe.

I know how it works lol. What I mean, is that I don’t like the behaviors associated with being sexy. I don’t like being stared at like meat, I don’t like being called sexy or cat called by strange men, i don’t like men treating me like I’m just something to have sex with, etc.

It definitely hasn’t, but in terms of the amount of venting my friend does about men vs mine, I think it does have some effect.

People typically feel more comfortable calling younger people more endearing terms since they are still youthful. I’ve noticed at least in my circle that when women hit 30 or so, they are seen more mature. Might be because of kids, aging, career, etc. might also just be how society views women once they are 30+. No one I know is really going to call a 30 year old women adorable unless she acts younger which I know a women right now who’s nearing 30 and I think she acts cute/adorable. I think for…

Sounds like a social circle then and possibly how your FYP looks. Might be an age thing too. I’m early 20s so it’s not super uncommon to still look adorable. I imagine women 30s+ aren’t be told they are adorable much since aging has probably started happening.

Thanks, I didn’t appreciate the comment since I can’t change how I look and I don’t appreciate being told i look like a child. Im a grown women. Anyway, for behavior. I think Bubbly personalities tend to get associated with being adorable, it does in my case. People that are light hearted, nurturing, caring, humble, polite, kind, basically the typical feminine traits can come across as adorable.

This post is mostly referencing the first idea people get of you on meeting you, so it’s mainly about physical appearance.

I won’t be entertaining this if you’re doing so in bad faith. Grown women aren’t children. There are different aesthetics.

How I’m defining sexy in this post is purely physical. It’s what people first notice about you. Since a lot of interactions happen with strangers and how you appear affects how people treat you. Things may be different with people you know

Round face / baby face / big eyes / round eyes / small nose / short / soft spoken / feminine voice - for genetics. These aren’t AND AND AND, these are just what tend to correlate to adorable ness imo. I think women can look/be adorable without these features since it’s not meant to capture everything. For things that you can control Light makeup / bright colors / feminine wardrobe / behavior

Yeah, you’d want to be able to turn your husband on. Which I think women are capable of whether they are perceived as more adorable or sexy. It’s never been an issue for me :) I’ve never wanted to be perceived as sexy though funny enough, it makes me uncomfortable. I just prefer attractive/cute/adorable.

My relationship is egalitarian. That doesn’t mean that I don’t listen to my husband, in fact I do, but he doesn’t hold it over my head or use it to force me to bend to his will. That’s what makes our relationship egalitarian. Thats how I view it. In practice, I would say it’s male led though. I listen to my husband, I avoid doing certain things he doesn’t like as best as I can, I let him overlook our budget for now but that won’t always be the case God willing. I know he wants to be the provider…

Yeah we were both speculating on why it might be, but his speculation was very surface level and honestly it’s not easy to relate your own personal feelings to someone that really can’t understand. I had a similar upbringing but it was my mom that beat me. She also cheated on my dad and that didn’t help at all. I was raised by my dad and my interests are more masculine in general so my friends were mostly male, my career was also in the trades so my coworkers were all men. My dad was the type of…

Your opinion is less than hers because hers demands her experience while yours is only through your own eyes and biases. It’s interesting that you assumed it was because you’re a man and self victimizing yourself when in the same comment, I mentioned that my own opinion for why she felt that way is also worth less because I can intellectually guess why she might feel that way based on stuff I’ve read, but I don’t have her experience or mindset to understand why she felt the way she did, only she…

I really just want to hear from her or other women that share similar sentiments, your opinions and mine aren’t going to really share much idea as to why she and other women in particular felt that way. I understand the vague boss women feelings, but since she’s on RPW, I assume she shares similar ideas to how women and men interact, so I really wanna hear from another RPW that have felt that way in the past if that makes sense.

This post reminded me of my high school years. When I was in high school, I was very frequently referred to as cute and adorable. I relished in that and strived to be seen as such. I enjoyed the attention and treatment it got me, never using it for negative. As an adult women, that is now married, I don’t receive such compliments from men anymore, however you can tell when men think you’re cute/adorable even after by the way they treat you. I have never, ever, ever, felt like a strong independen…

You can’t force a man to leave that doesn’t want to lead. If you start following what he says, you’re rewarding him for his lack of leading, and may never get a man that leads because why lead with his wife just does what he wants to do.
/r/RedPillWomen29/08/24 04:25 PM

Yeah he needs to bring something to the table, he’s not fulfilling his role as the man of the family. He’s not the primary breadwinner, doesn’t do 50/50 of the chores, and doesn’t cook? I don’t think this is something that RP will help with because in order to be a RP wife, your man must first do his duty. You can’t follow a man that doesn’t lead, you’d end up nowhere or becoming the man of the house which is no longer RP. Does your husband even believe in being the leader?
/r/RedPillWomen29/08/24 03:32 PM

Eh, I don’t think it’s tacky at all. With how inflation is, low incomes, and the current dating scene, it makes sense you don’t want to invest in someone before a couple of dates. I think low cost, 50/50 dates should be expected, but you can prefer that they pay. It’s a little different tho if this is a guy you know before the date. I’ve had guy friends buy me stuff and we were platonic. But if this is a guy you met online he doesn’t really know you and you don’t know him.
/r/RedPillWomen23/08/24 03:37 PM

Guy #2 isn’t a bad dude just because he asked to split the bill. It makes sense that a guy wouldn’t want to pay for a girl that isn’t his gf or wife. You can still date him and find out if his long term goals are to remain 50/50 or if he wants to provide.

I never understood the male red pill ideology. I think, what they want is the mentally Ill women and the women that are DTF because if they wanted to wife someone up, you’d think you’d want to spend time or chat with them. So their goals might honestly be to just have meaningless sex rather than a wife.

So RPW believes in AWALT but not AMALT?
/r/RedPillWomen24/07/24 03:57 PM

I think I misunderstand because it sounds like you can’t believe in AMALT but can believe that AWALT If you’re a RPW. Did I misunderstand your post here?

That’s genuinely crazy that you would consider divorcing your wife because she cut her hair. Being that vapid and shallow imo is very immature.

Would it be divorce worthy?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
