Orrrr they just meant what they said, and dismissing entire swathes of people because of one factor in their life is just as trashy as what you came here to criticise

Your argument is that they're aren't many men in bottom-rung management?

explain Power vacuum? In a lesbian relationship the diversion from the norm is a lack of a traditional dominant figure, in gay men it's a lack of traditional submissive figure. Regardless, cite your claims or it feels foolish debating them. You're not even arguing the point though, how is this connected to my original statement? Women may well be the more likely to lash out (I don't know, because you didn't show me) but they are also the more likely to be abused. Beside the factor you mention I …

No, that study puts it at 75/25, which considering it was a link put up to argue against the stat, I consider pretty spot on. And it certainly isn't 50/50

Of course, and I'm not saying everyone here is a misogynist. At one point this sub was very egalitarian, sadly a lot of incels and such seem to have moved in of late.

Because this sub has become a home for misogynists, sadly.

From your link: Women experience more intimate partner violence than do men: 22.1 percent of surveyed women, compared with 7.4 percent of surveyed men, reported they were physically assaulted by a current or former spouse, cohabiting partner, boyfriend or girlfriend That's more like 3 to 1.

Well Idk, assuming your stat is genuine then the question is what's the rate of incidence? If it's as common as lightning it's probably nothing to worry about. If it's as common as getting hit by a car, clearly precautions should be taken. Let's be fair though, the rates of child murder are no doubt orders of magnitude smaller than those of general violence against women, which is what we were actually talking about (well, that and divorce, the whole power imbalance). But as I say, putting kids …

That's apples and oranges mate. Racists are a social/psychological/ideological subset, women are one half of our species.

It's called "divide and conquer", and its a classic political trick attributed to Alexander the great's father. Support the rabid minorities, swing public opinions to the extremes, work the debate to your favour, profit.
