It is. It was invaded by Russia twice in recent history and there is currently a pro-Russian government. But people are understandably anti-Russian due to obvious reasons. So this is an interesting mix for me, as a Russian who escaped from Russian government lmao. But it's one of the very few countries where I can escape with my passport, so I'm staying here. Just to be clear, they're not talking about the permission from the military to go to the doctor. They're talking about a stamp that you visited an enlistment office during the war. It's still obvious oppression of men, but it's much more sensible, considering that the war going on and every man was required to visit enlistment office. Another thing, Ukrainian government does not enlist everybody. Most of my friends in Ukraine visited enlistment offices voluntarily and they weren't enlisted.
