Is it damaging in every respect? Because African American patients report better outcomes with African American doctors. Medical school recognizes this. And takes into account the social economic background of their applicants. By accepting African American doctors taking into account circumstance .... they get BETTER doctors as a result. Does this chance your thoughts at all?

Who said anything about deserving it? Obviously that’s not how the world works. If someone asks me for a seat I’m going to assume they have a good reason (even if they don’t) and unless I’m unable I’d just say okay.

I really want to see that 63% number of unreported sexual assault go up... and every time I see these meme's/articles/whatever I just get really worried because EVERY time the comments want to take such a heavy handed approach to addressing it. I know for sure that if we did what this sub wants you'd see reporting of sexual assaults go down even more (and its already only 50% or so). It would be horrible. The prevalence of women filing false charges is SO low.... but media makes it look like it happens to everyone.
