Should I be worried? If this is real and not a fake I’d guess she filed a temporary restraining order against you and the cops are trying to serve you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/06/24 06:40 PM
I screwed up but the punishment may not fit the crime. What should I do?A: You didn’t fuck up. You asked for and received permission. If what you say is true, you took all the right steps. It’s not your fault you were lied to because that person was more comfortable with a lie than with the truth. B: Lawyer the hell up ASAP. | /r/MensRights | 28/06/23 12:50 PM
Can the judge make me keep the house? No, judge cannot force you to keep a house. One of three options are available if you cannot mutually agree to a deal. You buy out her percentage of the asset and keep it, she buy out your percentage of the asset and keeps it or it is sold to split the asset in the percentage the judge assigns in the divorce trial. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/06/23 02:53 PM

I don’t think I want to live in this world…Firstly, I don’t “need” a partner. That doesn’t mean the idea of a good person by my side the rest of my life doesn’t sound ideal. I said in my post that I could be by myself all my life and be content. Secondly, of course no woman is perfect. Who said anything about needing perfection? You seem to have this predetermined idea in your head about these things. If that’s what works for you, I’m happy for you man. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/06/23 04:44 PM

I don’t think I want to live in this world…Nah, my mom left my dad when I was a baby and didn’t tell him where she was going…just vanished. Pretty much raised by my grandma after she vanished on me and I’ve been on my own since I was 16 after her passing, made sure I graduated high school and joined the military for college money. Not a bad childhood all things being equal, but not the standard one I suppose. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/06/23 03:22 PM
I don’t think I want to live in this world…That’s the thing, I want to be exclusive with a good partner. I don’t want to date, I genuinely want someone to be by my side all of my life. At that point, whether it’s marriage or common law it doesn’t really matter. I don’t want to date multiple women. Not only am I not the type to play with someone’s heart like that, but that sounds exhausting as f*ck, lol. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/06/23 03:12 PM

Found out the emotional abuse has magically turned physicalYeah, my ex started with “financial abuse” because I told her she could spend more than what was brought in and escalated to physical abuse accusations over the course of about six months until the judge caught her in a few lies and it was over for her at that point. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/05/23 06:06 PM
Does this ever happen? My ex wife sent me an apology text like 10 years after the divorce. It was so weird I looked for the angle she was playing for a solid month. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/23 01:32 PM
Divorce trial completed.“Equity” was what the judge said was the reason. It would be harder for her to get to the same level as I could on her own without and uneven division of assets. | 3 | Realizing my stbxw is a low quality human beingI’m right there with you man. I was blind to the level of just how much of a not nice person she was. I was very disappointed in myself for being so gullible and believing what I was told simply because she was saying it. One month into the marriage and things went south pretty quickly. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/03/23 08:58 PM
Reminder: Wait at least one year after Divorce before dating. You see people all over in life who get married after just a few months. It’s stupid but nothing that you need a year or more to heal from. There are plenty of situations where people get married way before they should have and if they split the break isn’t exactly as devastating as someone married with kids for a long time. Stuff like that. Like I said, great advice for most. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/01/23 09:47 PM
Reminder: Wait at least one year after Divorce before dating.Situational shit is situational. Great advice for most, but I can see cases where this won’t be the case. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/01/23 03:57 AM

How should gender roles and laws be in the modern age, in your opinion? What does the ideal relationship look like to you?Automatic 50/50 is the assumed standard for all cases, no child support unless you can prove one parent is unfit or voluntarily gives up his parental responsibilities. | /r/MensRights | 20/11/22 09:55 PM
How should gender roles and laws be in the modern age, in your opinion? | 2 | Serious Question: how many of you know someone who got lied to about being pregnant to get the dude to marry her, and then *oops* she wasn’t so pregnant any more? | -3 | Serious Question: how many of you know someone who got lied to about being pregnant to get the dude to marry her, and then *oops* she wasn’t so pregnant any more? F/U question: how are guys so *dumb* to fall for this?“Statistically speaking men tell the most lies(i.e. you are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen), but women tell the biggest lies(i.e. it’s your baby).” -Chris Rock | /r/MensRights | 18/11/22 03:57 PM
Men don’t have rights?I don’t believe feminism, as it is practiced, seeks out egalitarianism whatsoever. I cannot name a single thing feminism has done to advance egalitarian views, can you? From what I have seen, feminism seeks to further the advancement of what feminist claim are women’s issues regardless of how detrimental or unfair the consequences are to their male counterparts. I am by no means anti-female, however from what I can tell feminism as it is practiced today in the U.S is anti-male. | /r/MensRights | 31/10/22 04:19 PM
Men don’t have rights? Most people I know don’t really approach this topic in a rights vs. privileges perspective but an egalitarianism approach. True equal, if you want X I should get X as well. Fair is fair. | /r/MensRights | 31/10/22 02:55 PM
Men don’t have rights?Family law in the U.S. isn’t based on law, i.e. if X action happens than Y is the consequence. It is solely based on a court officials personal discretion as he/she felt at that time. In a world where women are portrayed as a victim in all things, regardless of the situational facts in each individual case, this greatly influences a persons personal judgment at any given time. | /r/MensRights | 31/10/22 02:53 PM
Give me a ranking on JP, Matt Walsh and Ben Shapiro and your reasons for thatFor my tastes: 1 - JP. Hands down does more to benefit human flourishing than either of the other two. You can tell he genuinely wants people to better themselves and by extension, the world around them. He tells you the hard truths you need to hear to get out of your own way in life. 2 - Shapiro. Very facts and logic based. Grounded in reality and argues for reality based end results. 3 - Walsh. I find his style pretty funny actually. Smart regular Joe kind of guy. | /r/MensRights | 27/10/22 03:08 AM

Sad, Remorseful, Regretful, Betrayed, AloneIt sucks you are going thru this brother. My advice for what it’s worth as someone who’s been where you have, keep your head up and on straight. Men tend to voluntarily kill themselves in providing for women who don’t want them in these situations, don’t give everything you have to someone who is making her own choice to move on without you and have nothing left for yourself. It’s a cold and unforgiving world for men in the divorce process…if you don’t look out for you, no one will. We’re here t… | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/10/22 03:51 PM
Sad, Remorseful, Regretful, Betrayed, AloneMy personal opinion, she is toying with your heart and soul because she knows she is done and will never give you what you want (that emotional connection) but is more than willing for you to give her what she wants (the security and stability she wants to continue with the life she is wants for herself). Your heart and how you feel isn’t even a part of her current calculations. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/10/22 03:33 PM
End is Drawing NearThis sounds pretty familiar in some ways. The part that I don’t understand, and likely never will, is the betrayal. To go from “till death do us part” to actively going out of your way to hurt someone you claimed to have loved. Even if I hated someone’s guts now, but loved a person once, I could never go out of my way to screw that person over. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/10/22 01:54 AM
What are some things I can do to help homeless men specifically? The only real thing you can do of actual significance is to stop voting for those who think leaving mentally ill and/or drug addicted people on the street is somehow more compassionate then putting them thru the help they need to not want to be on the street. | /r/MensRights | 13/10/22 07:28 PM
Divorce with an 18-year-old ADHD, OCD childThat’s not an uncommon feeling brother. It will pass and you will be all the stronger for it. It sounds like you already know what you need to do. Now comes the part where you find the strength and courage to be the example for your son on what he should if he were in this position, because most likely he will be in this position at some point in his life and he needs to see you doing what needs to be done right now. We’re here for you to support you through this rough time. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/09/22 02:55 PM
Divorce with an 18-year-old ADHD, OCD childIt sounds like you are leading one unhealthy life to avoid another unhealthy life. I was doing the same thing. Worked a lot more than I had to to avoid a abusive spouse. Most of the time I would simply watch Netflix in my office and not really work much just to avoid going home. | 0 | I don't know how I feel anymoreWomen, as a subgroup, are not our allies. Men as a subgroup are not allies. Judge individual people on their individual actions and stop putting entire populations into groups. On top of that, if “support” to you doesn’t include validating the pain some women have inflicted on some men and helping to direct that pain into healthy healing…I respectfully suggest you are doing support wrong. | /r/MensRights | 21/09/22 06:22 PM

Some sort of comment about women doing some bullshit is not equivalent to saying every single woman ever born is evil and will 100% do some evil to any and every man. To be fair, generalized comments do no one any good. Men don’t like comments like that either, but if that’s something that will make you unsub over…ok.
