Not really. I'd rather spend the rest of my life reading books, jacking off, playing chess, watching TV than be executed. It would be a dull life with no freedom, but it's better than being dead. There are severely disabled people who lead objectively worse lives and don't want to die (my friend's brother is quadriplegic and spends most of the day watching TV in bed; he doesn't want to die). I don't know why people say this.

I'm a 2nd degree black belt in Judo, a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and a proficient fencer. I have fought at a national level. I've had to defend myself twice in the past and seriously injured the assailant on both occasions. I am not a pacifist, but there's nothing you could say to me that would warrant a physical assault.

This is absolutely the wrong way to go about getting your deposit back, of course, but landlords have a tendency of making up bullshit to keep your deposit. I've had it happen twice where landlords have made it very difficult to get my deposit back, citing whatever they can think of with one including that I had changed the lightbulbs and put nails in the wall that were already there when I moved in!
